Darby's Translation

Zarma

1 Corinthians

2

1And *I*, when I came to you, brethren, came not in excellency of word, or wisdom, announcing to you the testimony of God.
1 Ay mo, nya-izey, waato kaŋ ay kaa araŋ do, ay mana kaa da sanni gonitaray, wala laakal wane, ka Irikoy seeda waazu araŋ se.
2For I did not judge [it well] to know anything among you save Jesus Christ, and *him* crucified.
2 Zama ay miila ay ma si hay kulu bay araŋ game ra kala day Yesu Almasihu hinne, nga kaŋ i kanji.
3And *I* was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling;
3 Ay goro araŋ do da londibuunay, da humburkumay, da jijiriyaŋ gumo.
4and my word and my preaching, not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of [the] Spirit and of power;
4 Ay sanno d'ay waazo mo manti nda fahamay sanni waaniyaŋ no kaŋ ga te sigaw, amma i te da Biya* _Hanno|_ cabeyaŋo da dabari mo,
5that your faith might not stand in men's wisdom, but in God's power.
5 hal araŋ cimbeero ma si bara boro laakal boŋ, amma a ma bara Irikoy dabaro boŋ.
6But we speak wisdom among the perfect; but wisdom not of this world, nor of the rulers of this world, who come to nought.
6 Amma iri goono ga laakal salaŋ toonantey game ra, day manti zamana wo laakalo, wala zamana wo koyey wano, ngey kaŋ yaŋ goono ga bisa.
7But we speak God's wisdom in [a] mystery, that hidden [wisdom] which God had predetermined before the ages for our glory:
7 Amma iri goono ga Irikoy laakalo salaŋ, gundu* wane, sanda wo kaŋ doŋ a go tugante, kaŋ Irikoy waadu iri darza se za waato zamaney mana te.
8which none of the princes of this age knew, (for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory;)
8 Zamana wo koyey kulu mana bay laakalo din gaa, zama d'i bay a gaa, doŋ i si Rabbi darzakoyo kanji.
9but according as it is written, Things which eye has not seen, and ear not heard, and which have not come into man's heart, which God has prepared for them that love him,
9 Amma a te mate kaŋ i n'a hantum ka ne: «Hayey kaŋ mo mana di, kaŋ hanga mana maa, kaŋ mana furo boro bine ra mo, hayey din no Irikoy soola borey kaŋ ga ba r'a se.»
10but God has revealed to us by [his] Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.
10 Amma iri se no Irikoy n'i bangandi Biya _Hanno|_ do. Zama Biya _Hanno|_ goono ga hay kulu fintal. Baa Irikoy hayey kaŋ ga guusu, a g'i fintal.
11For who of men hath known the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? thus also the things of God knows no one except the Spirit of God.
11 Zama may no ga boro muraadey bay, da manti bora biya* kaŋ go a ra? Yaadin mo no, boro kulu si Irikoy muraadey bay, kala day Irikoy Biya.
12But *we* have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which [is] of God, that we may know the things which have been freely given to us of God:
12 Iri wo, manti ndunnya biya no iri du bo, amma Biya kaŋ fun Irikoy do, hal iri ma hayey kaŋ Irikoy n'iri no nga gomno do bay.
13which also we speak, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, communicating spiritual [things] by spiritual [means].
13 Hayey wo iri goono g'i salaŋ, manti nda sanni kaŋ Adam-ize laakal ga boro dondonandi, amma iri goono g'i salaŋ da wo kaŋ Biya Hanno g'iri dondonandi. Iri goono ga Biya Hanno harey deedandi nda Biya Hanna sanney.
14But [the] natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him; and he cannot know [them] because they are spiritually discerned;
14 Amma boro kaŋ ga nga Adam-ize daa laala gana si Irikoy Biya harey ta. I ga ciya a se saamotaray. A si hin k'i bay mo, zama Biya Hanno do no boro g'i fayanka.
15but the spiritual discerns all things, and *he* is discerned of no one.
15 Amma boro kaŋ ga Irikoy Biya gana ga hay kulu fayanka. Nga bumbo mo, boro kulu s'a fintal.
16For who has known the mind of [the] Lord, who shall instruct him? But *we* have the mind of Christ.
16 Zama i ne: «May no na Rabbi miila bay hala bora m'a dondonandi?» Amma iri wo, iri gonda Almasihu miila.
