1After these things, when the fury of king Ahasuerus was appeased, he remembered Vashti, and what she had done, and what was decreed against her.
1 Woodin banda, waato kaŋ bonkoono Zerses futa zumbu, kal a fongu Basti gaa, da haŋ kaŋ a te, da hin sanni kaŋ i te a boŋ.
2Then said the king's servants that attended upon him, Let there be maidens, virgins of beautiful countenance, sought for the king;
2 Saaya din binde bonkoono bannyey kaŋ ga saajaw bonkoono se ne: «Naŋ i ma ceeci bonkoono se wandiyo yaŋ kaŋ ga sogo.
3and let the king appoint officers in all the provinces of his kingdom, that they may gather together all the young virgins of beautiful countenance to Shushan the fortress, to the house of the women, unto the custody of Hegai the king's chamberlain, keeper of the women; and let their things for purification be given.
3 Naŋ bonkoono ma goy-teeriyaŋ daŋ mo nga mayray laabey kulu ra, zama i ma wandiyo sogey kulu margu. I ma kand'ey ka gorandi Susan faada ra, wayborey windo ra. I m'i daŋ bonkoono mantawo Hegay kambe ra, nga kaŋ ga wayborey batu. A m'i no hanandiyaŋ jinay mo.
4And let the maiden that pleaseth the king be queen instead of Vashti. And the thing pleased the king; and he did so.
4 Naŋ mo, wandiya kaŋ bonkoono ga ba din ma ciya bonkoono wande Basti nango ra.» Ciina binde kaan bonkoono se, a te yaadin mo.
5There was in Shushan the fortress a certain Jew, whose name was Mordecai, the son of Jair, the son of Shimei, the son of Kish, a Benjaminite,
5 Yahudance fo mo go no Susan faada ra kaŋ maa Mordekay, Yayir izo, Simay ize, Cis ize, Benyamin boro no.
6who had been carried away from Jerusalem with the captives who had been carried away with Jeconiah king of Judah, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away.
6 Waato a go Urusalima* ra da goray. A go borey ra kaŋ yaŋ i di Yahuda bonkoono Yekoniya banda, kaŋ i n'i ku ka kond'ey, sanda borey kaŋ yaŋ Babila bonkoono Nebukadnezzar ku nooya.
7And he brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncle's daughter; for she had neither father nor mother -- and the maiden was fair and beautiful -- and when her father and mother were dead, Mordecai took her for his own daughter.
7 Mordekay mo na Hadasa biiri, kaŋ ga ti Esta, nga hasayze way no, zama koociya sinda nya wala baaba. Wandiya mo ga sogo no, kaŋ gunayaŋ ga kaan. Waato kaŋ a baabo da nyaŋo bu, Mordekay mo n'a sambu k'a ciya nga ize way.
8And it came to pass when the king's commandment and his decree was heard, and when many maidens were gathered together unto Shushan the fortress, unto the custody of Hegai, that Esther also was brought into the king's house, unto the custody of Hegai, keeper of the women.
8 A ciya mo, waato kaŋ i maa bonkoono lordo d'a feyaŋo, i na wandiyo boobo margu mo Susan faada ra Hegay kambe ra, kal i kande Esta mo bonkoono windo ra, Hegay kambe ra, nga kaŋ ga wayborey batu.
9And the maiden pleased him, and obtained favour before him; and he speedily gave her her things for purification, and her portions, and the seven maidens selected to be given her, out of the king's house; and he removed her and her maids to the best [place] of the house of the women.
9 Wandiya binde kaan a se, a du gaakuri mo Hegay do. Sahãadin-sahãadin mo a n'a no nga hanandiyaŋ jinayey, da nga baa _ŋwaari|_, da wandiyo iyye mo kaŋ ga hima ka goro a banda bonkoono windo ra. A na nga nda nga wandiyey sambu ka kond'ey nangu hanno fo do wayborey windo ra kaŋ boori nda nangu cindey.
10Esther had not made known her people nor her birth; for Mordecai had charged her that she should not make it known.
10 Esta mo mana nga dumo wala nga asulo kaa taray jina, zama Mordekay n'a lordi ka ne a ma si i bangandi.
11And Mordecai walked every day before the court of the women's house, to know how Esther did, and what should become of her.
11 Zaari kulu Mordekay ga goro noodin wayborey windo me batama ra zama nga ma du ka bay mate kaŋ no Esta bara nd'a, wala mo haŋ kaŋ ga du a.
12And when every maiden's turn came to go in to king Ahasuerus after that she had been treated for twelve months, according to the manner of the women (for so were the days of their purification accomplished -- six months with oil of myrrh, and six months with spices, and with things for the purifying of the women,
12 Waati kaŋ wandiyo kulu muraado to kaŋ a ga furo bonkoono Zerses do, handu way cindi hinka banda kaŋ i ga te a se wayborey alaada boŋ (zama mate kaŋ i hanandiyaŋ jirbey bara nd'a, nga neeya: handu iddu i g'i tuusu nda lubban ji, handu iddu koyne nda waddi ji, nga nda wayboro hanandiyaŋ jinayey.)
13and thus came the maiden in unto the king), whatever she desired was given her to go with her out of the house of the women to the king's house.
13 Yaadin no wandiyey ga kaa d'a bonkoono do, hay kulu kaŋ a ga ba, Hegay g'a no nd'a. A ma fatta wayborey windo ra ka kaa bonkoono windo ra.
14In the evening she went, and on the morrow she returned into the second house of the women, unto the custody of Shaashgaz, the king's chamberlain, keeper of the concubines. She came in to the king no more, unless the king delighted in her, and she were called by name.
14 A ga koy wiciri kambu, susubay a ma ye ka koy wayborey windo ra, fu hinkanta ra, ka furo bonkoono mantawo Sa-Asgaz kambe ra, nga kaŋ ga haggoy da wahayey. Wandiya din si ye ka kaa bonkoono do koyne, kala day da bonkoono ga maa a kaani, i m'a ce mo da nga maa.
15And when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, came to go in to the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king's chamberlain, keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained grace in the sight of all them that saw her.
15 Esta, Abihayel kaŋ ga ti Mordekay hasayze wayo, nga kaŋ Mordekay sambu k'a ciya nga ize way, waato kaŋ a muraado to nga ma furo bonkoono do, a mana hay kulu ceeci kala day haŋ kaŋ bonkoono mantawo Hegay, nga kaŋ ga wayborey batu soola. Esta binde du gaakuri borey kulu kaŋ di a do.
16So Esther was taken to king Ahasuerus, into his royal house, in the tenth month, that is, the month Tebeth, in the seventh year of his reign.
16 I binde furo nda Esta bonkoono Zerses do a koytara windo ra, handu wayanta ra no, sanda Tebet hando nooya, bonkoono mayra jiiri iyyanta ra.
17And the king loved Esther above all the women, and she obtained grace and favour in his sight more than all the virgins, and he set the royal crown upon her head, and made her queen instead of Vashti.
17 Bonkoono binde ba Esta ka bisa wayborey kulu. A du gaakuri nda gomni mo a do ka bisa wandiyey kulu, hal a na koytaray wura fuula dake a boŋo boŋ. A n'a daŋ bonkoono wande Basti nango ra.
18And the king made a great feast to all his princes and his servants, Esther's feast; and he made a release to the provinces, and gave presents according to the king's bounty.
18 Alwaati woodin ra binde bonkoono na batu bambata te nga laabukoyey da nga tamey kulu se, danga bato din Esta wane nooya. A na nga laabey no fulanzamay, a na nooyaŋey no mo koytaray alhaali boŋ.
19And when the virgins were gathered together the second time, Mordecai sat in the king's gate.
19 Waato kaŋ i na wandiyey margu, sanda marguyaŋ hinkanta nooya, Mordekay goro bonkoono windo me gaa.
20(Esther, as Mordecai had charged her, had not yet made known her birth nor her people; for Esther did what Mordecai told her, like as when she was brought up with him.)
20 Esta mo mana nga asulo wala nga dumo cabe jina bo, sanda mate kaŋ Mordekay n'a lordi nd'a, zama Esta ga Mordekay gana, danga day waato kaŋ a goono g'a biiri din cine.
21In those days, while Mordecai sat in the king's gate, two of the king's chamberlains, Bigthan and Teresh, of those which kept the threshold, were wroth, and sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus.
21 Jirbi woodin yaŋ ra, waati kaŋ Mordekay goono ga goro bonkoono windo me gaa, bonkoono mantawey ra boro hinka, windi me batukoy ra, Bigtan da Teres nooya, i futu. I ceeci ngey ma bonkoono Zerses wi.
22And the thing became known to Mordecai, and he related it to Esther the queen, and Esther told it to the king in Mordecai's name.
22 Mordekay du ka bay i me-hawyaŋo gaa. A n'a ci bonkoono wando Esta se, nga mo n'a seeda bonkoono se Mordekay maa ra.
23And the matter was investigated and found out; and they were both hanged on a tree. And it was written in the book of the chronicles before the king.
23 Waato kaŋ i na sanno fintal, i gar yaadin no a bara, kal i n'i boro hinka kulu sarku bundu gaa. I na woodin baaru hantum mo bonkooney baaru tira ra bonkoono jine.
