Esther

5

1And it came to pass on the third day, that Esther put on royal apparel, and stood in the inner court of the king's house, over against the king's house. And the king sat upon his royal throne in the royal house, over against the entrance to the house.
1 I go no, zaari hinzanta hane, kala Esta na nga koytaray bankaaray daŋ. A kay bonkoono windo ra haray batama ra, bonkoono faada jine. Bonkoono goono ga goro nga koytaray karga boŋ koytaray windo ra, moyduma go ga guna windo me haray.
2And it was so, when the king saw the queen Esther standing in the court, that she obtained grace in his sight; and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand; and Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.
2 A ciya binde, waato kaŋ bonkoono di nga wande Esta goono ga kay batama ra, kal a du gaakuri bonkoono do. Bonkoono mo na wura koytaray sarjilla kaŋ go nga kambe ra din salle Esta se. Esta mo maan ka koytaray sarjilla boŋo ham.
3And the king said to her, What wilt thou, queen Esther? and what is thy request? it shall be given thee even to the half of the kingdom.
3 Gaa no bonkoono ne a se: «Ya nin ay wande Esta, ifo no ni ga ba? Ifo mo no ga ti ni ŋwaarayyaŋo? I ga ni no nd'a, baa mayra jara no.»
4And Esther said, If it seem good to the king, let the king and Haman come this day to the banquet that I have prepared for him.
4 Esta mo ne: «Hala day bonkoono di a ga boori, naŋ bonkoono nda Haman ma kaa hunkuna bato kaŋ ay soola a se din do.»
5And the king said, Hasten Haman, that it may be done as Esther has said. And the king and Haman came to the banquet that Esther had prepared.
5 Alwaato din no bonkoono ne: «I ma daŋ Haman ma waasu, zama i ma te Esta ciyaŋo boŋ.» Bonkoono da Haman binde kaa bato kaŋ Esta soola i se din do.
6And the king said to Esther at the banquet of wine, What is thy petition? and it shall be granted thee; and what is thy request? even to the half of the kingdom it shall be done.
6 Kaŋ duvan haŋyaŋ waate kaa ka to bato ra, kala bonkoono ne Esta se: «Ifo no ga ti ni ŋwaarayyaŋo? I g'a te ni se. Ifo no ni ga ba? Baa mayra jara no, i ga ni no nd'a.»
7And Esther answered and said, My petition and my request is,
7 Gaa no Esta tu ka ne: «Ay ŋwaarayyaŋo d'ay ceeciyaŋo neeya:
8If I have found grace in the sight of the king, and if it please the king to grant my petition, and to perform my request, let the king and Haman come to the banquet that I shall prepare for them, and I will do to-morrow according to the king's word.
8 Hala day ay du gaakuri bonkoono jine, d'a kaan bonkoono se mo koyne, a m'ay ŋwaarayyaŋo ta, a m'ay muraado feeri mo ay se, naŋ bonkoono da Haman ma kaa bato kaŋ ay ga soola i se din do. Ay mo, suba ya te haŋ kaŋ bonkoono ci.»
9And Haman went forth that day joyful and glad of heart; but when Haman saw Mordecai in the king's gate, that he stood not up nor moved for him, he was full of fury against Mordecai.
9 Haman binde fatta nda farhã da bine kaani han din hane. Amma waato kaŋ Haman di Mordekay bonkoono windo me gaa, a mana tun ka kay, a mana jijiri mo nga jine, kal a to da futay korno Mordekay se.
10But Haman controlled himself, and came home; and he sent and called for his friends, and Zeresh his wife.
10 Amma kulu nda yaadin Haman hin nga bina ka koy fu. A naŋ mo i ma nga corey da nga wande Zeres ce.
11And Haman told them of the glory of his riches, and the multitude of his children, and all wherein the king had promoted him, and how he had advanced him above the princes and servants of the king.
11 Haman na nga arzaka baayaŋo dede i se, da nga izey baayaŋ kulu, da nangey kulu kaŋ bonkoono n'a beerandi k'a daŋ jina laabukoyey da bonkoono tamey boŋ.
12And Haman said, Yea, Esther the queen let no man come in with the king to the banquet that she had prepared but myself; and to-morrow also I am invited to her with the king.
12 Haman ye ka tonton ka ne: «Oho, hala bonkoono wande Esta bumbo mo mana yadda boro kulu ma furo bonkoono banda bato kaŋ a soola din do, kal ay hinne. Suba mo a ye k'ay ce batu fo do bonkoono banda.
13Yet all this is of no avail to me so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king's gate.
13 Amma woodin yaŋ man'ay nafa nda hay kulu baa kayna d'ay goono ga di Yahudanca din Mordekay goono ga goro bonkoono windo me gaa.»
14Then said Zeresh his wife and all his friends to him, Let a gallows be made of fifty cubits high, and in the morning speak to the king that Mordecai may be hanged on it: then go in merrily with the king to the banquet. And the thing pleased Haman; and he caused the gallows to be made.
