Ezekiel

24

1And in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth of the month, the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
1 Jiiri yagganta ra, a handu wayanta, jirbi wayanta hane, Rabbi sanno kaa ay do koyne ka ne:
2Son of man, write thee the name of the day, of this selfsame day: on this selfsame day the king of Babylon draws near to Jerusalem.
2 Boro izo, ma zaari woone maa hantum, hunkuna zaaro wo. Hunkuna, zaari woone, Babila bonkoono na Urusalima windi nda wongu.
3And propose a parable unto the rebellious house, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Set on the pot, set [it] on, and also pour water into it.
3 Ma misa ci mo dumo wo kaŋ ga murte se ka ne: Yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: Wa guuru kusu bambata dake, W'a dake ka hari daŋ a ra! Wa suuban ka sambu feeji kuro ra.
4Gather the pieces thereof into it, every good piece, the thigh and the shoulder; fill [it] with the choice bones:
4 Wa ham toorimiyaŋ daŋ kuso ra hala toorimi hanney afo kulu ma furo, Kaŋ ci ham tanjey da kambey. Araŋ m'a toonandi nda biri suubananteyaŋ.
5take the choice of the flock; and also [put] a pile of wood under it, for the bones; make it boil well, and let the bones of it seethe therein.
5 Wa tuuri boobo daŋ a cire, Wa naŋ a ma zarga ka boori, Oho, d'a ra biriyey, ngey mo ma hina ka nin.
6Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose rust is therein, and whose rust is not gone out of it! Bring it out piece by piece; let no lot fall upon it:
6 Woodin se Rabbi, Koy Beero ne: Kaari gallo kaŋ gonda kuri, Da kuso kaŋ a guuru hay-hay go a gaa, Kaŋ a hay-hayo mo si fun a gaa! Wa hamo kaa taray toorimi-toorimi, wa si suuban.
7for her blood is in the midst of her; she set it upon the bare rock; she poured it not upon the ground, to cover it with dust.
7 Zama wiyaŋ kuri go a ra, A n'a gusam tondi daari boŋ. A mana a gusam ganda laabo ra bo, Kaŋ i ga hima k'a daabu nda laabu.
8That it might cause fury to come up to execute vengeance, I have set her blood upon the bare rock, that it should not be covered.
8 Ay futa ma tun se no ay n'a kuro mun tondi daaro boŋ, Zama i ma s'a daabu, Futa kaŋ ga taali bana nooya.
9Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Woe to the bloody city! I also will make the pile great.
9 Woodin sabbay se, yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: Kaari gallo kaŋ gonda wiyaŋ kuri! Ay mo, ya danji funsuyaŋ tuuri citila, iboobo.
10Heap on the wood, kindle the fire, boil thoroughly the flesh, and spice it well, and let the bones be burned.
11Then set it empty upon its coals, that it may be hot, and the brass of it may burn, and that its filthiness may be molten in it, [and] that its rust may be consumed.
11 Waato din gaa i ma kuso dake danjo boŋ koonu hal a ma koroŋ. A guuru-sayo ma ciray, A kazaamatara ma manne a ra, A hay-hayo mo ma ban.
12She hath exhausted [her] labours, yet her great rust goeth not forth out of her: let her rust be in the fire.
12 A n'ay fargandi nda taabi, Kulu nda yaadin a hay-hayyaŋ booba mana fun a gaa. A hay-hayyaŋo si fatta bo, Kala nda i n'a daŋ danji ra.
13In thy filthiness is lewdness, for I have purged thee, and thou art not pure. Thou shalt no more be purged from thy filthiness, till I have satisfied my fury upon thee.
14I Jehovah have spoken [it]: it shall come to pass, and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, nor will I repent. According to thy ways, and according to thy doings, shall they judge thee, saith the Lord Jehovah.
14 Ay wo, Rabbi no k'a ci, a ga tabbat, ay g'a te mo. Yaadin no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci.
15And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
15 Rabbi sanno kaa ay do mo ka ne:
16Son of man, behold, I take away from thee the desire of thine eyes with a stroke; yet thou shalt not mourn nor weep, neither shall thy tears run down.
17Sigh in silence, make no mourning for the dead; bind thy turban upon thee, and put thy sandals upon thy feet, and cover not the beard, and eat not the bread of men.
17 Ma bine jisi, amma manti nda gaabi bo.
18-- And I spoke unto the people in the morning; and at even my wife died. And I did in the morning as I was commanded.
18 Ay binde salaŋ borey se susuba ra, wiciri kambo ra mo, a go, ay wando bu. A suba mo ay te mate kaŋ i n'ay lordi nd'a.
19And the people said unto me, Wilt thou not tell us what these things are to us, which thou doest?
19 Borey ne ay se: «Ni si misa woone feerijo ci iri se bo, mate kaŋ cine no a bara nd'a iri se, za kaŋ ni goono ga hayey wo dumi te?»
20And I said to them, The word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
20 Kala ay ne i se: Rabbi sanno no ka kaa ay do ka ne:
21Say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and your soul's longing; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left behind shall fall by the sword.
21 Ma salaŋ Israyla dumo se ka ne: Yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: A go, ay g'ay Nangu Hananta ziibandi, sanda araŋ hino zamuuyaŋo, d'araŋ booro beeje haro, da haya kaŋ araŋ biney ga farhã d'a. Araŋ ize arey da wayey, kaŋ yaŋ araŋ naŋ, takuba g'i zeeri.
22And ye shall do as I have done: ye shall not cover the beard, neither eat the bread of men;
22 Araŋ mo ga te sanda mate kaŋ cine ay te wo. Araŋ si araŋ me hamney daabu, wala bu batu ŋwaari ŋwa.
23and your turbans shall be upon your heads, and your sandals upon your feet: ye shall not mourn nor weep; but ye shall waste away in your iniquities and moan one toward another.
23 Araŋ boŋtobayey ga goro araŋ boŋey gaa, araŋ taamey mo araŋ cey gaa. Araŋ si bu baray wala hẽeni te, amma araŋ ga lakaw ka halaci araŋ zunubey ra, araŋ ga duray araŋ da cara se.
24Thus Ezekiel shall be unto you a sign; according to all that he hath done shall ye do: when it cometh, then ye shall know that I [am] the Lord Jehovah.
24 Woodin gaa no ay wo, Ezeciyel ga ciya alaama araŋ se. Hay kulu kaŋ ay te me-a-me, a cine no araŋ mo ga te. Waati kaŋ cine woodin ga te, waato din gaa no araŋ ga bay kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi, Koy Beero.
25And thou, son of man, shall it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the joy of their glory, the desire of their eyes, and that whereunto they lift up their soul, their sons and their daughters,
25 Ni binde, boro izo, hano kaŋ hane ay n'i wongu cinaro sambu i se, d'i darza bine kaaniyo, d'i booro beeje haro, d'i laakal sinjiyaŋ haro, d'i ize arey da wayey mo --
26that in that day he that escapeth shall come unto thee, to cause [thine] ears to hear [it]?
26 han din, zaari woodin ra, bora kaŋ du ka yana din ga kaa ni do, a ga ni no baaru ni hanga ra.
27In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him that is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb. So shalt thou be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
Woodin gaa no ni ga ciya i se alaama. I ga bay mo kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi.
