1In the tenth year, in the tenth [month], on the twelfth of the month, the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
1 Jiiri wayanta ra, a handu wayanta jirbi way cindi hinkanta hane no Rabbi sanno kaa ay do ka ne:
2Son of man, set thy face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against the whole of Egypt;
2 Boro izo, ma ni moyduma ye Misira bonkoono Firawna do haray, ka annabitaray te ka gaaba nd'a, nga nda Misira kulu.
3speak, and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great monster that lieth in the midst of his rivers, which saith, My river is mine own, and I made it for myself.
3 Ma salaŋ ka ne: Yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: Guna, ya nin, Misira Bonkoono Firawna, Ay ga gaaba nda nin kaŋ ci hari ham bambata kaŋ ga humburandi, Kaŋ ga kani nga isey ra, nin kaŋ ne: «Ay Nil isa ya ay wane no, Ay no k'a te ay boŋ se!.»
4And I will put hooks in thy jaws, and I will cause the fish of thy rivers to stick unto thy scales, and I will bring thee up out of the midst of thy rivers, and all the fish of thy rivers shall stick unto thy scales;
5and I will cast thee into the wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open field; thou shalt not be brought together nor gathered: I will give thee for meat to the beasts of the earth and to the fowl of the heavens.
6And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I [am] Jehovah, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.
6 Gaa no Misira gorokoy kulu ga bay kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi, za kaŋ i ciya Israyla dumo se kwaari goobu.
7When they took hold of thee by thy hand, thou didst give way and rend all their shoulder; and when they leaned upon thee, thou didst break, and didst make all their loins to tremble.
7 Waato kaŋ i na ni di da ngey kambey, kala ni ceeri, ni na i jase boŋey kulu tooru-tooru mo. Waato kaŋ i jeeri ni gaa, ni ceeri, ni naŋ mo i cantey kulu ma goori.
8Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will bring a sword upon thee, and cut off man and beast from thee.
8 Woodin sabbay se, yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: Guna, ay ga kande ni gaa takuba, ay ma boro nda alman kulu tuusu ka kaa ni ra.
9And the land of Egypt shall be a desolation and a waste: and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah, because he saith, The river is mine, and I made it.
9 Misira laabo mo ga ciya kurmu, batama koonu. Gaa no i ga bay kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi. Za kaŋ ni ne: «Nil isa ya ay wane no, ay no k'a te,»
10Therefore behold, I am against thee, and against thy rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt deserts of wasteness and desolation, from Migdol to Syene, even unto the border of Ethiopia.
10 ay binde goono ga gaaba nda nin. Ay ga gaaba nda ni isey, ay ga naŋ mo Misira ma ciya kurmu, batama kwaaray koonu soosay, za Migdol gaa kal a ma koy Siyen gaa, kala Etiyopi hirro gaa.
11No foot of man shall pass through it, nor shall foot of beast pass through it, nor shall it be inhabited, forty years.
11 Boro ce si gana a ra, alman ce mo si gana a ra, i si goro a ra mo, kala jiiri waytaaci ma kubay.
12And I will make the land of Egypt a desolation in the midst of the countries that are desolated, and her cities shall be, in the midst of the cities that are laid waste, a desolation forty years; and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.
12 Yaadin cine no ay ga Misira laabo ciya kurmu nd'a, laabu cindey kaŋ go kurmu yaŋ game ra. A galley mo ga ciya kurmuyaŋ, gallu cindey kaŋ i bagu-bagu yaŋ game ra, kal a ma to jiiri waytaaci. Ay ga Misirancey say-say no ndunnya dumey ra, ya i fay-fay ndunnya laabey ra.
13Yet thus saith the Lord Jehovah: At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the peoples whither they were scattered;
13 Zama yaa no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci: Jiiri waytaaca din bananta ay ga Misirancey margu ka fun d'ey ndunnya dumey ra, nangey kaŋ i say ka koy.
14and I will turn again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return to the land of Pathros, into the land of their birth, and they shall there be a base kingdom.
14 Ngey kaŋ i konda tamtaray, ay g'i ye Misira. I ma ye Patros laabu, i asuli laabo no. I ma ciya mayray kayniyo noodin.
15It shall be the basest of kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations; and I will diminish them, so that they shall no more rule over the nations.
15 I mayra ga ciya mayray kaŋ ga kayna nda ikulu mayrayey ra. I si ye ka ngey boŋ tunandi mo koyne ndunnya dumey boŋ. Ay g'i zabu hal i ma si ye ka ndunnya dumey may koyne.
16And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, bringing iniquity to remembrance, when they turn after them: and they shall know that I [am] the Lord Jehovah.
16 Israyla dumo mo si ye ka de i gaa koyne, kal i ma fongu ngey waato zunubey gaa, zama se i miila ngey ma koy Misira do haray. Waato din no i ga bay kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi, Koy Beero.
17And it came to pass in the twenty-seventh year, in the first [month], on the first of the month, [that] the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,
17 I go no, jiiri waranka cindi iyyanta ra, a handu sintina, hando jirbi sintina hane, kala Rabbi sanno kaa ay do ka ne:
18Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to do hard service against Tyre; every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he from Tyre no wages, nor his army, for the service that he had served against it.
18 Boro izo, Babila bonkoono Nebukadnezzar na nga wongu marga daŋ i ma kookari te gumo Tir boŋ, hala boro kulu boŋ te buulal, jase boŋ kulu mortu mo. Kulu nda yaadin a mana du hay kulu alhakku nga nda nga wongu marga kulu se Tir do haray, taabo kaŋ a te a boŋ din wane.
19Therefore thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall carry away her multitude, and seize her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.
19 Rabbi, Koy Beero binde ne: A go, ay ga Misira laabo nooyandi Babila bonkoono Nebukadnezzar se. A g'a arzaka booba ku, a ma wongu arzaka ta, a m'a ŋwa wongu arzaka ŋwaari, a wongu marga alhakko nooya.
20I have given him the land of Egypt for his labour wherewith he served against it, because they wrought for me, saith the Lord Jehovah.
20 Ay n'a no Misira laabo, a goyo kaŋ a te din alhakku nooya, zama i goy ay se. Yaadin no Rabbi, Koy Beero ci.
21In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give thee the opening of the mouth in the midst of them: and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
21 Han din hane no ay ga daŋ hilli fo ma fatta Israyla dumo se. Ni mo, ay ga ni meyo feeri i game ra. I ga bay mo kaŋ ay no ga ti Rabbi.
