1Christ has set us free in freedom; stand fast therefore, and be not held again in a yoke of bondage.
1 Almasihu n'iri fansa burcinitaray se. Yaadin gaa araŋ ma kay ka tarsasa. Araŋ ma si ye ka didiji tamtaray ra, k'a calo* daŋ koyne.
2Behold, I, Paul, say to you, that if ye are circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
2 Guna ay, Bulos, ay goono ga ci araŋ se: d'araŋ ta i n'araŋ dambangu, Almasihu sinda nafa araŋ se.
3And I witness again to every man [who is] circumcised, that he is debtor to do the whole law.
3 Oho, koyne ay go ga seeda ka ne boro kulu kaŋ ga dambanguyaŋ ta se: bora din ciya garawkooni a ma hay kulu kaŋ asariya ci te.
4Ye are deprived of all profit from the Christ as separated [from him], as many as are justified by law; ye have fallen from grace.
4 Araŋ kaŋ ga ba Irikoy m'araŋ adilandi asariya ganayaŋ ra, araŋ fay da Almasihu, araŋ daray gomno gaa no.
5For we, by [the] Spirit, on the principle of faith, await the hope of righteousness.
5 Zama iri wo, cimbeeri* boŋ no iri goono ga adilitaray kaŋ se iri ga beeje batu Biya _Hanno|_ do.
6For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision has any force, nor uncircumcision; but faith working through love.
6 Zama Almasihu Yesu ra dambanguyaŋ wala dambanguyaŋ-jaŋay si hay kulu hanse, kala cimbeeri kaŋ ga goy baakasinay do.
7Ye ran well; who has stopped you that ye should not obey the truth?
7 Waato araŋ goono ga zuru hal a ma boori. May no k'araŋ gaay hal araŋ ma si cimo gana sohõ?
8The persuasibleness [is] not of him that calls you.
8 Boŋ-bareyaŋo wo mana fun Irikoy kaŋ goono g'araŋ ce din do!
9A little leaven leavens the whole lump.
9 Dalbu kayna ga motta kulu fuurandi.
10*I* have confidence as to you in [the] Lord, that ye will have no other mind; and he that is troubling you shall bear the guilt [of it], whosoever he may be.
10 Ay gonda naanay araŋ gaa Rabbi ra kaŋ araŋ si hay fo waani miila. Amma boro kaŋ goono g'araŋ taabandi, bora alhakko ga kaŋ a boŋ, boro kulu kaŋ no.
11But *I*, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why am I yet persecuted? Then the scandal of the cross has been done away.
11 Amma, ay nya-izey, d'ay goono ga dambanguyaŋ sanni waazu hala ka kaa sohõ, ifo se no i goono g'ay gurzugandi? Zama nda yaadin no, kanjiyaŋ bundo si ciya katiyaŋ hari koyne.
12I would that they would even cut themselves off who throw you into confusion.
12 Ay ga ba borey kaŋ yaŋ goono g'araŋ laakal tunandi ma koy ka ngey boŋ manta.
13For *ye* have been called to liberty, brethren; only [do] not [turn] liberty into an opportunity to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
13 Amma araŋ wo, nya-izey, Irikoy n'araŋ ce burcinitaray se no. Day wa si naŋ burcinitara din ma bine ibaay* laaley no fondo, amma baakasinay do araŋ ma may care se.
14For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself;
14 Zama asariya kulu toonandiyaŋ go sanni follonko boŋ, kaŋ ga ti: «Ni ma ba ni gorokasin danga ni boŋ cine.»
15but if ye bite and devour one another, see that ye are not consumed one of another.
15 Amma d'araŋ ga care nama ka care ŋwa, wa haggoy araŋ ma si care halaci.
16But I say, Walk in [the] Spirit, and ye shall no way fulfil flesh's lust.
16 Amma ay ga woone ci: araŋ ma dira Biya _Hanna|_ ra, gaa no araŋ si bine ibaay laaley toonandi.
17For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these things are opposed one to the other, that ye should not do those things which ye desire;
17 Zama bine ibaay laaley ga gaaba nda Biya _Hanno|_. Biya _Hanno|_ mo ga gaaba da bine ibaay laaley. I goono ga gaaba nda care, hala hay kulu kaŋ araŋ ga ba araŋ ma te, manti nga no araŋ ga te.
18but if ye are led by the Spirit, ye are not under law.
18 Amma da Biya _Hanno|_ goono g'araŋ candi, kulu araŋ si asariya dabaro cire.
19Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are fornication, uncleanness, licentiousness,
19 Bine ibaay laaley goyey binde, taray kwaaray no i go. Ngey ga ti: zina, da ziibi, da furkutaray,
20idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strifes, jealousies, angers, contentions, disputes, schools of opinion,
20 da tooru ganayaŋ, da ziimataray, da ibaretaray, da kusuuma, da canse, da futay, da kakaw, da fay-ka-ye-waani-waaniyaŋ, da wurdi waani-waani,
21envyings, murders, drunkennesses, revels, and things like these; as to which I tell you beforehand, even as I also have said before, that they who do such things shall not inherit God's kingdom.
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, fidelity,
22 Amma wo kaŋ Biya _Hanno|_ ga hay ga ti: baakasinay, da farhã, da laakal kanay, da suuru kuuku, da dogonay, da booriyaŋ, da naanay,
23meekness, self-control: against such things there is no law.
23 da lalabu, da boŋ hiniyaŋ. Asariya kulu si no kaŋ ga hayey din ganji.
24But they that [are] of the Christ have crucified the flesh with the passions and the lusts.
24 Borey kaŋ ga ti Almasihu waney mo na Adam-ize daa laaley kanji, d'i bine beeje laaley, d'i bine ibaay laaley.
25If we live by the Spirit, let us walk also by the Spirit.
25 Da Biya _Hanno|_ do no iri goono ga funa, yaadin gaa iri ma dira Biya _Hanno|_ ra.
26Let us not become vain-glorious, provoking one another, envying one another.
26 Iri ma si ciya foomanteyaŋ, ka care futandi, ka canse care gaa.
