45

1Thus saith Jehovah to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him -- and I will loose the loins of kings; to open before him the two-leaved doors, and the gates shall not be shut:
1 Yaa no Rabbi go ga ci nga wane suubananta Sirus se, Kaŋ ay go g'a kambe ŋwaaro di ka ndunnya dumey mayra daŋ a kamba ra. Daahir, ay ga bonkooney guddamey yogolandi, Zama ay ma birni meyey fiti a jine, I si ye ka daabu mo.
2I will go before thee, and make the elevated places plain; I will break in pieces the brazen doors, and cut asunder the bars of iron;
2 Ay ga furo ni jine ka zulli-ka-tuney kanandi, Ay ma guuru-say windi me daabirjey bagu-bagu, Ay ma guuru-bi sarey kaŋ ga me daabirjey margu pati-pati.
3and I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places; that thou mayest know that I, Jehovah, who call thee by name, [am] the God of Israel.

4For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have called thee by thy name; I surnamed thee, though thou didst not know me;

5I [am] Jehovah, and there is none else; there is no God beside me: I girded thee, and thou hast not known me;

6-- that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the going down, that there is none beside me. I [am] Jehovah, and there is none else;

7forming the light and creating darkness, making peace and creating evil: I, Jehovah, do all these things.
7 Ay no ga kaari te, ay no ga kubay mo taka. Ay ya baani kandeko no, Ay ya masiiba takako mo no. Ay no, Rabbi kaŋ ga hayey din kulu te.
8Drop down, [ye] heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness; let the earth open, and let them bring forth salvation, and with it let righteousness spring up. I, Jehovah, have created it.

9Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let a potsherd [strive] with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that formeth it, What makest thou? Or thy work, He hath no hands?
9 Kaari boro kaŋ ga kakaw da nga Teekwa -- Bora din ya cambu no ndunnya cambey ra. Mate no? Botogo ga ne bora kaŋ na nga diibi se: ‹Ifo no ni goono ga te?›. Wala mo ni goyo ma ne ni sinda kambe?
10Woe unto him that saith unto [his] father, What begettest thou? Or to [his] mother, What hast thou brought forth?
10 Kaari bora kaŋ ne baaba se: ‹Ifo no ni goono ga hay?› Wala a ma ne waybora se: ‹Ifo hay zaŋay no ni goono ga te?›
11Thus saith Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker: Ask me of the things to come; concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands, command ye me.
11 Yaa no Rabbi, Israyla wane Hananyankoyo, Kaŋ ga ti a Teekwa mo ci: Muraadey kaŋ goono ga kaa, Ni g'ay hã woodin yaŋ boŋ no? Ay izey d'ay kambe goyey ciine ra mo, Ni g'ay lordi no?
12It is I that have made the earth, and created man upon it; it is I, my hands, that have stretched out the heavens, and all their host have I commanded.

13It is I that have raised him up in righteousness, and I will make all his ways straight: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives, not for price nor reward, saith Jehovah of hosts.
13 Ay no ka Sirus suuban adilitaray ra, Ay g'a fondey kulu sasabandi mo. A g'ay gallo cina, A g'ay waney kaŋ i konda tamtaray mo taŋ, Kaŋ manti sufuray se, Manti mo banandi se. Yaadin no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci.
14Thus saith Jehovah: The wealth of Egypt, and the merchandise of Ethiopia and the Sabeans, men of stature, shall come over unto thee, and they shall be thine: they shall walk after thee; in chains they shall come over, and they shall bow down unto thee, they shall make supplication unto thee, [saying,] Surely ùGod is in thee; and there is none else, no other God. ...
14 Yaa no Rabbi ci: Misira taabi goy duure, Da Etiyopi day da neera jinayey, Da Sabanancey kaŋ ti boro kuukey mo, I kulu ga bisa ka kaa ni do. I ma ciya ni wane yaŋ, i ga ni banda gana mo. I ga bisa ka kaa ka tamtaray ka ye ganda ni jine, I ga ŋwaaray ni gaa ka ne: ‹Daahir, Irikoy go ni banda, A cine si no mo, Irikoy fo si no.› »
15Verily thou art a ùGod that hidest thyself, O God of Israel, the Saviour. ...
15 Ya nin Israyla Irikoyo kaŋ ti Faabako, Daahir, ni ya Irikoy kaŋ ga tugu no.
16They shall be ashamed, and also confounded, all of them; they shall go away in confusion together, the makers of idols.
16 Borey kaŋ yaŋ ga tooru te ga haaw, Oho, i ga di kayna, I kulu ga furo boŋ haway ra care banda.
17Israel shall be saved by Jehovah with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded, unto the ages of ages.

18For thus saith Jehovah who created the heavens, God himself who formed the earth and made it, he who established it, -- not as waste did he create it: he formed it to be inhabited: -- I [am] Jehovah, and there is none else.

19I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth; I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek me in vain: I [am] Jehovah, speaking righteousness, declaring things which are right.
19 Ay mana salaŋ gundu ra, Nangu fo ganda kaŋ gonda kubay. Ay mana ne Yakuba banda m'ay ceeci yaamo mo. Ay wo, Rabbi, adilitaray sanni no ay ga ci, Haŋ kaŋ ga saba mo no ay ga ci.
20Gather yourselves and come; draw near together, ye that are escaped of the nations. They have no knowledge that carry the wood of their graven image, and pray unto a ùgod that cannot save.
20 Ya araŋ dumi cindey borey kaŋ yaŋ du ka yana, Wa margu ka kaa, wa maan care banda. Borey kaŋ gonda tuuri ga jare kaŋ ga ti i tooru jabantey, Da borey kaŋ yaŋ ga adduwa te de-koy kaŋ sinda faaba hina gaa, I kulu sinda bayray.
21Declare and bring [them] near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath caused this to be heard from ancient time? [who] hath declared it long ago? Is it not I, Jehovah? And there is no God else beside me; a just ùGod and a Saviour, there is none besides me.
21 Wa ci, oho, wa kande sanni, Oho, wa saaware care gaa. May no ka woodin bangandi za doŋ zamaney ra? May no k'a ci za doŋ? May no da manti ay, Rabbi? Irikoy fo mo si no kala ay, Ay ya Irikoy adilitaraykoy da faabako mo no, Afo si no kala ay.
22Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I [am] ùGod, and there is none else.
22 Ya araŋ ndunnya me-a-me, Wa bare ay do haray ka du faaba, Zama ay no ga ti Irikoy, afo si no mo kala ay.
23I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth [in] righteousness and shall not return, that unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.
23 Ay ze d'ay boŋ, sanno ban ka fun ay meyo ra, Adilitaray ra no ay salaŋ, Sanno si ye ka tun koyne. Ay ne: Ay se no kange kulu ga gurfa, Deene kulu mo ga ze.
24Only in Jehovah, shall one say, have I righteousness and strength. To him shall [men] come; and all that are incensed against him shall be ashamed.
24 Borey ga salaŋ ay boŋ ka ne: ‹Rabbi do hinne no adilitaray da gaabi go, A do mo no Adam-izey ga kaa. Borey kulu kaŋ futu a se mo ga haaw.
25In Jehovah shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory.
