Isaiah

55

1Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters; and he that hath no money, come ye, buy, and eat: yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price!
1 He! Araŋ boro kulu kaŋ gaa jaw go, wa kaa haro do. Araŋ kaŋ sinda nooru, Wa kaa ka day ka ŋwa, Oho, wa kaa ka day duvan* da wa, Manti da nooru bo, manti mo da banayaŋ hari.
2Wherefore do ye spend money for [that which is] not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? Hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye [that which is] good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3Incline your ear, and come unto me; hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, the sure mercies of David.
3 Wa hanga jeeri ka kaa ay do me. Wa maa, araŋ biyey mo ga funa. Ay mo ya alkawli kaŋ ga duumi sambu araŋ se kaŋ ga ti Dawda wane suuji tabbatanta.
4Behold, I have given him [for] a witness to the peoples, a prince and commander to the peoples.
4 A go, ay n'ay tamo daŋ jamayaŋ se seeda, Jine boro nda mayko mo no ndunnya dumey se.
5Behold, thou shalt call a nation thou knowest not, and a nation [that] knew not thee shall run unto thee, because of Jehovah thy God, and the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
5 A go, ni ga dumi fo kaŋ ni si bay ce. Dumi fo kaŋ si ni bay no ga zuru ka kaa ni do Rabbi ni Irikoyo sabbay se. A ga kaa Israyla wane Hananyankoyo sabbay se, Zama a na ni no darza.
6Seek ye Jehovah while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near.
6 Wa Rabbi ceeci za boro ga du a. W'a ce za a ga maan.
7Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto Jehovah, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
7 Laalakoy ma nga fonda taŋ, Boro yaamo mo ma fay da nga fonguyaŋo. A ma ye ka kaa Rabbi do, nga mo g'a suuji. A ma kaa iri Irikoyo do, Zama a ga yaafa nda yulwa.
8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith Jehovah.
8 Zama ay miiley manti araŋ miiley no, Araŋ fondey mo manti ay fondey no. Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
9For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
9 Zama sanda mate kaŋ cine beena ga mooru ganda, Yaadin cine mo no ay fondey bisa araŋ waney mooray, Ay miiley mo bisa araŋ waney.
10For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
10 Zama sanda mate kaŋ cine hari nda neezu* ga fun beene ka kaŋ, I si ye noodin koyne kala nd'i na laabo haŋandi, Hal a ga naŋ dumar'izey ma fun ka te kobtoyaŋ, A ma dumi no dumakoy se da ŋwaari mo ŋwaakoy se --
11so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall do that which I please, and it shall accomplish that for which I send it.
11 Yaadin cine no ay sanno kaŋ ga fun ay meyo ra mo ga ciya. A si ye ay do yaamo, Amma a ga haŋ kaŋ ay miila toonandi, A ga te albarka mo haya kaŋ se ay n'a samba ra.
12For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
12 Zama farhã no araŋ ga fatta nd'a, Laakal kanay ra no i g'araŋ candi. Tondi kuukey da tudey ga doon ka farhã araŋ jine, Saajo tuurey kulu mo ga kobi.
13Instead of the thorn shall come up the cypress, and instead of the nettle shall come up the myrtle; and it shall be to Jehovah for a name, for an everlasting sign [that] shall not be cut off.
13 Karji nango ra sipres* tuuri no ga fatta. Yo karji nango ra mo mirtal* no ga fatta. A ga ciya Rabbi maa fonguyaŋ hari, alaama kaŋ ga duumi, Kaŋ si gana mo.
