Isaiah

63

1Who is this that cometh from Edom, with deep-red garments from Bozrah, this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? -- I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
1 May no woone kaŋ goono ga fun Bozra kwaara, Edom laabu da bankaaray cirayyaŋ? May no woone kaŋ gonda bankaaray darzante yaŋ, Kaŋ goono ga dira nga hin beero ra? «Ay kaŋ goono ga salaŋ adilitaray ra, Ay ya hinkoy no faaba teeyaŋ se.»
2-- Wherefore is redness in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winevat?
2 Ifo se no ciray go ni bankaarayey gaa, Ni kwaayey mo ga hima reyzin ize taamuko wane?
3I have trodden the winepress alone, and of the peoples not a man was with me; and I have trodden them in mine anger, and trampled them in my fury; and their blood is sprinkled upon my garments, and I have stained all mine apparel.
4For the day of vengeance was in my heart, and the year of my redeemed had come.
4 Zama taali banayaŋ zaari go ay bina ra, Ay wane fansantey jiiro kaa.
5And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: and mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
5 Ay guna, amma gaako fo si no. Ay dambara mo kaŋ i jaŋ boro kaŋ ga kambe daŋ. Woodin se no ay bumbo kamba na faaba goy te ay boŋ se, Ay dukuro mo no k'ay gaa.
6And I have trodden down the peoples in mine anger, and made them drunk in my fury; and their blood have I brought down to the earth.
6 Ay futa ra no ay na ndunnya dumey taamu-taamu, Ay futay beero ra mo no ay n'i bugandi, K'i kurey mun ganda.»
7I will record the loving-kindnesses of Jehovah, the praises of Jehovah, according to all that Jehovah hath bestowed upon us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel which he hath bestowed upon them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving-kindnesses.
7 Rabbi baakasinay suujo, Da Rabbi goyey kaŋ to sifayaŋ, Da hay kulu kaŋ Rabbi no iri se, Da gomni beero kaŋ a cabe Israyla dumo se, Kaŋ a no i se nga bakarawo da nga baakasinay suuji booba boŋ mo, ay g'i kulu ci.
8And he said, They are indeed my people, children that will not lie; and he became their Saviour.
8 Zama a ne: «Daahir, woodin yaŋ ya ay jama no, Izeyaŋ no kaŋ si taari.» A binde ciya i se Faabako.
9In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the Angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bore them and carried them all the days of old.
9 I kankami kulu ra nga mo kankam, Nga bumbo malayka n'i faaba mo. A baakasina d'a suujo ra no a n'i fansa*, A n'i sambu k'i jare waato jirbey kulu ra.
10But they rebelled and grieved his holy Spirit: and he turned to be their enemy; himself, he fought against them.
10 Amma i murte a gaa k'a Biya Hanna bine sara. Woodin se no a bare ka ciya i se ibare, Nga bumbo mo no ka yanje nd'ey.
11But he remembered the days of old, Moses [and] his people: Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he that put his holy Spirit within him,
11 Waato din gaa no a jama fongu doŋ jirbey da Musa alwaato ka ne: Man bora kaŋ fun d'ey teeko ra, Da Rabbi jama kurukwa i banda? Man gaa a go, nga kaŋ na Biya Hanna daŋ Musa bina ra?
12his glorious arm leading them by the right hand of Moses, dividing the waters before them, to make himself an everlasting name,
12 A go g'i candi da Musa kambe ŋwaaro, Kaŋ ga ti Rabbi kambe darzakoyo. A na haro fay i jine, Zama nga ma maa kaŋ ga duumi te nga boŋ se.
13-- who led them through the depths, like a horse in the wilderness, [and] they stumbled not?
13 A n'i bisandi guusuyaŋey bindo ra, Danga bari kaŋ go saaji ra, i mana baa kati mo.
14As cattle go down into the valley, the Spirit of Jehovah gave them rest; so didst thou lead thy people, to make thyself a glorious name.
14 Sanda hawyaŋ kaŋ ga zulli ka koy gooro batama ra, Yaadin cine no Rabbi Biya n'i no fulanzamay.
15Look down from the heavens, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy glory! Where is thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy tender mercies? Are they restrained toward me?
Man ni himma da ni hino go? Ni bakarawo da ni suujey, Ni n'i gaay i ma si kaa ay do haray.
16For thou art our Father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: thou, Jehovah, art our Father; our Redeemer, from everlasting, is thy name.
16 Zama ni ya iri baaba no, Baa kaŋ Ibrahim mana iri bay, Israyla mo mana iri seeda. Nin no ga ti Rabbi iri baabo d'iri Fansakwa za doŋ-doŋ kaŋ sinda me, ni maa nooya.
17Why, O Jehovah, hast thou made us to err from thy ways, hast hardened our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants' sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.
18Thy holy people have possessed [it] but a little while: our adversaries have trodden down thy sanctuary.
19We have become [like those] over whom thou never barest rule, those not called by thy name.
19 Iri ciya sanda jama kaŋ yaŋ ni mana may baa ce fo, Danga jama kaŋ yaŋ i mana ce da ni maa. Danga day ni ma beeney kortu ka zumbu! Tondey ma manne ka bambari ni jine!
