1And the word of Jehovah came to me, saying,
1 Rabbi sanno kaa ay do koyne ka ne:
2Thou shalt not take thee a wife, and thou shalt not have sons nor daughters in this place.
2 Ni si hiiji, ni si du ize aru wala ize way mo nangu woone wo ra.
3For thus saith Jehovah concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bear them, and concerning their fathers that beget them in this land:
3 Zama yaa no Rabbi ci ize arey da ize wayey kaŋ i ga hay neewo boŋ, d'i nyaŋey kaŋ yaŋ g'i hay, d'i baabey kaŋ yaŋ g'i hay boŋ mo laabu woone ra:
4They shall die of painful deaths; they shall not be lamented, neither shall they be buried; they shall be as dung upon the face of the ground, and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine, and their carcases shall be food for the fowl of the heavens and for the beasts of the earth.
4 I ga bu da balaaw buuyaŋ. Boro kulu si bu baray te i se, i s'i fiji mo. I ga hima sanda birji laabo boŋ. Takuba nda haray g'i ŋwa ka ban. I buukoy ga ciya beene curey da ganji hamey se ŋwaari.
5For thus saith Jehovah: Enter not into the house of wailing, neither go to lament or bemoan them; for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith Jehovah, the loving-kindness and the tender mercies.
5 Zama yaa no Rabbi ci: Ma si furo bu baray windi ra, ma si koy mo zama ni ma hẽ se, wala ni m'i kunfa se. Zama ay n'ay laakal kana ta dumo wo gaa, nga nd'ay baakasinay suujo d'ay bakaraw mo. Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
6Both great and small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried; and none shall lament for them, or cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them.
6 Boro beerey da ikayney kulu ga bu laabo wo ra. Boro kulu s'i fiji, i si bu baray wala gaaham kottu-kottu yaŋ, wala koosu ka windi yaŋ te i se mo.
7Nor shall they break [bread] for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall they give them the cup of consolations to drink for their father or for their mother.
8And thou shalt not go into the house of feasting, to sit with them, to eat and to drink.
8 Ma si furo batu windi ra zama nin d'ey ma goro care banda, ni ma ŋwa ka haŋ sabbay se.
9For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place, before your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth and the voice of joy, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride.
9 Zama yaa no Rabbi Kundeykoyo, Israyla Irikoyo ci: A go, nango wo ra, araŋ moy jine, d'araŋ jirbey ra mo, ay ga naŋ ndunnya kaani maayaŋ jinde, da farhã jinde, da arhiiji nda wayhiiji jinde ma ban.
10And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt declare unto this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath Jehovah pronounced all this great evil against us? and what is our iniquity? and what is our sin which we have committed against Jehovah our God?
11then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith Jehovah, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;
11 Kala ni ma ne i se: Yaa no Rabbi ci: Zama araŋ kaayey n'ay furu, i na de-koy fooyaŋ ceeci, i may i se, i sududu i se mo. Amma ay wo, i n'ay furu, i man'ay asariya haggoy mo.
12and you, ye have done still worse than your fathers; and there ye are walking every one after the stubbornness of his evil heart, not to hearken unto me:
12 Araŋ mo, araŋ jaase araŋ kaayey laala goy teeyaŋ, zama a go, araŋ boro fo kulu, araŋ goono ga dira no araŋ hanga sanday laalakoyo banda, hal araŋ si hangan ka maa ay se.
13and I will cast you forth out of this land, into a land that ye know not, ye nor your fathers; and there shall ye serve other gods day and night: because I will shew you no favour.
13 Woodin se no ay g'araŋ kaa laabo wo ra k'araŋ catu laabu fo kaŋ araŋ wala araŋ kaayey mana bay ra. Noodin no araŋ ga may de-koy fooyaŋ se cin da zaari, noodin mo ay si gomni cabe araŋ se bo, baa kayna.
14Therefore, behold, days are coming, saith Jehovah, that it shall no more be said, [As] Jehovah liveth, who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
14 Yaa no Rabbi ci: Woodin se binde a go, jirbiyaŋ goono ga kaa kaŋ boro si ye ka ne: «Ay ga ze da Rabbi fundikoono, nga kaŋ na Israyla izey fattandi Misira laabo ra.»
15but, [As] Jehovah liveth, who brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them. For I will bring them again into their land, which I gave unto their fathers.
15 Amma a ga ne: «Ay ga ze da Rabbi fundikoono, nga kaŋ fun da Israyla izey azawa kambe laabo, da laabey kulu ra mo, nangey kaŋ a n'i gaaray ka kond'ey.» Zama ay ga ye ka kand'ey ngey laabo ra, wo kaŋ ay no i kaayey se.
16Behold, I will send for many fishers, saith Jehovah, and they shall fish them; and afterwards will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them, from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.
16 Yaa no Rabbi ci: A go, ay ga donton i ma tamko boobo ce kaŋ ga borey di sanda mate kaŋ boro ga hari ham di cine. Woodin banda mo ay ga naŋ i ma kol'ize boobo ce. I g'i koli ka kaa tondi kuuku fo-fo kulu boŋ, da tudu kulu boŋ, da tondi guusey ra mo.
17For mine eyes are upon all their ways; they are not concealed from my face, neither is their iniquity hidden from before mine eyes.
17 Zama ay moy goono ga laakal d'i muraadey kulu. Manti tugante no i go ay se bo, i goy laaley mo si daabante ay moy se.
18But first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double, because they have profaned my land with the carcases of their detestable things, and with their abominations have they filled mine inheritance.
18 Sintina day ay ga bana i gaa labu-care i goy laaley d'i zunubey se, za kaŋ i n'ay laabo ziibandi. I n'ay wane baa mo toonandi nda ngey tooru himandey da ngey fanta harey mo.
19Jehovah, my strength and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of distress, unto thee shall the nations come from the ends of the earth, and they shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited falsehood [and] vanity; and in these things there is no profit.
19 «Ya Rabbi, ay gaabo, d'ay wongu fu beero, D'ay tuguyaŋo do mo taabi zaari ra! Za ndunnya hirro me gaa no dumi cindey ga fun ka kaa ni do ka ne: ‹Iri kaayey mana hay kulu tubu kala tangari, Da hari yaamo yaŋ, da haŋ kaŋ ra nafa si.
20Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no-gods?
20 Boro ga de-koyyaŋ te nga boŋ se no? A binde, i manti irikoyyaŋ no!› »
21Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know my hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is Jehovah.
21 Woodin se binde, hiino wo ay g'i bayrandi nd'ay kambe gaabo d'ay hino mo. I ga bay mo kaŋ ay maa ga ti Rabbi.
