Jeremiah

28

1And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, [that] Hananiah the son of Azzur, the prophet, who was of Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of Jehovah, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,
1 A go no, jiiro din ra, Yahuda bonkoono Zedeciya mayra jiiri taacanta handu guwanta ra, kala annabi Hananiya Azzur izo, Jibeyon boro salaŋ ay se Rabbi windo ra alfagey da jama kulu jine.
2Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.
2 A ne: «Yaa no Rabbi Kundeykoyo, Israyla Irikoyo ci: Ay ga Babila bonkoono calo ceeri.
3Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of Jehovah's house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried to Babylon;
3 Ne ka koy jiiri hinka ay ga ye ka kande Rabbi windo jinayey kaŋ Babila bonkoono Nebukadnezzar ku ka konda Babila, i ma kaa neewo.
4and I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, the king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah that went to Babylon, saith Jehovah: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
4 Ay ga ye ka kande Yahuda bonkoono Yekoniya Yehoyacim izo neewo, da Yahuda tamtaray izey kulu kaŋ yaŋ koy Babila, zama ay ga Babila bonkoono calo ceeri.» Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
5And the prophet Jeremiah spoke unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of Jehovah.
5 Kala annabi Irimiya salaŋ annabi Hananiya se alfagey da jama kulu jine, kaŋ yaŋ goono ga kay noodin Rabbi windo ra.
6And the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen, may Jehovah do so! may Jehovah perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again from Babylon, into this place, the vessels of Jehovah's house, and all them of the captivity!
6 Annabi Irimiya ne: «Amin! Rabbi ma te yaadin! Rabbi ma ni annabitaray sanney kulu toonandi. A ma ye ka kande Rabbi fuwo jinayey da borey kulu kaŋ yaŋ i konda tamtaray, i ma fun Babila ka ye ka kaa neewo mo!
7Nevertheless, hear, I pray thee, this word which I speak in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people:
7 Kulu nda yaadin, sohõ ni ma maa sanno wo kaŋ ay go ga ci ni se da jama kulu mo se:
8The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old, prophesied also concerning many countries and concerning great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.

9The prophet that prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, shall be known as the prophet whom Jehovah hath really sent.
9 Annabi kaŋ ga laakal kanay annabitaray te, da annabo din sanno tabbat, i ga bay annabo din gaa kaŋ Rabbi no k'a donton, a sinda sikka.»
10And the prophet Hananiah took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah's neck, and broke it.
10 Kala annabi Hananiya na calo sambu annabi Irimiya jinda gaa k'a ceeri.
11And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith Jehovah: So will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon within two full years from off the neck of all the nations. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
11 Hananiya salaŋ mo jama kulu jine ka ne: «Yaa no Rabbi ci: Yaawo cine no ay ga Babila bonkoono Nebukadnezzar calo ceeri nd'a k'a kaa dumo wo jinda gaa, hala jiiri hinka ga kubay.» Gaa no annabi Irimiya na nga diraw te.
12And the word of Jehovah came unto Jeremiah, after that the prophet Hananiah had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,

13Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus saith Jehovah: Thou hast broken the yokes of wood, and thou hast made in their place yokes of iron.
13 Yaa no Rabbi ci: Ma koy ka ne Hananiya se: Ni na bundu caluyaŋ ceeri, amma i nangu ra ni na guuru-bi wane yaŋ te.
14For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.
14 Zama yaa no Rabbi Kundeykoyo, Israyla Irikoyo ci: Ay ga guuru-bi calu dake dumey wo kulu jindey gaa, zama i ma may Babila bonkoono Nebukadnezzar se. I ga may a se mo. Ay g'a no ganji hamey mo.
15And the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah, Hear now, Hananiah: Jehovah hath not sent thee; and thou makest this people to trust in falsehood.
15 Gaa no annabi Irimiya ne annabi Hananiya se: «Ma maa sohõ, nin Hananiya. Rabbi mana ni donton bo, amma ni goono ga borey daŋ i ma de tangari gaa.
16Therefore thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, for thou hast spoken revolt against Jehovah.
16 Yaa no Rabbi goono ga ci: Woodin sabbay se, a go, ay ga ni kaa ndunnya boŋ. Jiiri woone ra no ni ga bu, za kaŋ ni na murteyaŋ sanni te ka gaaba nda Rabbi.»
17And the prophet Hananiah died in the same year in the seventh month.
