1And he looked up and saw the rich casting their gifts into the treasury;

2but he saw also a certain poor widow casting therein two mites.

3And he said, Verily I say unto you, that this poor widow has cast in more than all;

4for all these out of their abundance have cast into the gifts [of God]; but she out of her need has cast in all the living which she had.

5And as some spoke of the temple, that it was adorned with goodly stones and consecrated offerings, he said,
5 Boro fooyaŋ mo goono ga salaŋ a se Irikoy windo ciine ra, mate kaŋ i n'a taalam da tondi hanno yaŋ da nooyaŋey mo. Kal a ne:
6[As to] these things which ye are beholding, days are coming in which there shall not be left stone upon stone which shall not be thrown down.
6 «Hayey din kaŋ yaŋ araŋ goono ga di, jirbiyaŋ go kaa kaŋ tondi fo si cindi tondi fo boŋ, kaŋ i s'a zeeri.»
7And they asked him saying, Teacher, when then shall these things be; and what [is] the sign when these things are going to take place?
7 I n'a hã ka ne: «Alfa, alwaati fo cine no hayey din ga te? Alaama woofo no ga te waati kaŋ hayey din ga ba ka to?»
8And he said, See that ye be not led astray, for many shall come in my name, saying, *I* am [he], and the time is drawn nigh: go ye not [therefore] after them.
8 A ne: «Wa haggoy i ma s'araŋ darandi. Zama boro boobo ga kaa k'ay maa sambu ka ne: ‹Ay no ga ti nga›. I ga ne mo: ‹Alwaato maan›. Araŋ ma s'i gana.
9And when ye shall hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified, for these things must first take place, but the end is not immediately.
9 Waati kaŋ araŋ ga maa wongey da kuraari baaru mo, araŋ ma si humburu, zama tilas no hayey din ma te jina. Amma bananta si te sahãadin-sahãadin.»
10Then he said to them, Nation shall rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom;
10 Waato din gaa a ne i se: «Dumi ga tun dumi gaa, mayray mo ga tun mayray gaa.
11there shall be both great earthquakes in different places, and famines and pestilences; and there shall be fearful sights and great signs from heaven.

12But before all these things they shall lay their hands upon you and persecute you, delivering [you] up to synagogues and prisons, bringing [you] before kings and governors on account of my name;

13but it shall turn out to you for a testimony.

14Settle therefore in your hearts not to meditate beforehand [your] defence,
14 Amma araŋ ma kay sanni folloŋ gaa: araŋ ma si lasaabu mate kaŋ araŋ ga tu i se d'a.
15for *I* will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your opposers shall not be able to reply to or resist.
15 Zama ay g'araŋ no me sanni da laakal mo kaŋ borey kaŋ yaŋ ga gaaba nd'araŋ kulu si du ka kay i jine k'i kakaw.
16But ye will be delivered up even by parents and brethren and relations and friends, and they shall put to death [some] from among you,
16 Amma baa hayrey, da nya-izeyaŋ, da dumiyaŋ, da coroyaŋ g'araŋ nooyandi. I g'araŋ boro fooyaŋ wi mo zaati.
17and ye will be hated of all for my name's sake.
17 Araŋ ga ciya konnari hari yaŋ mo ndunnya dumey kulu do ay maa sabbay se.
18And a hair of your head shall in no wise perish.
18 Amma baa araŋ boŋ hamni folloŋ si halaci.
19By your patient endurance gain your souls.
19 Araŋ biney ra kayyaŋo do no araŋ ga du araŋ fundey.
20But when ye see Jerusalem encompassed with armies, then know that its desolation is drawn nigh.
20 Amma waati kaŋ araŋ ga di i na Urusalima windi nda wongu marga, alwaati woodin araŋ ma bay kaŋ a halaciyaŋo maan a gaa.
21Then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountains, and those who are in the midst of it depart out, and those who are in the country not enter into it;
21 Waato din gaa wa naŋ ngey kaŋ yaŋ go Yahudiya* ra ma zuru ka koy tondi kuukey ra. Ngey kaŋ yaŋ go kwaara bindo ra ma fatta a ra. Ngey mo kaŋ yaŋ go a kawyey ra ma si furo a ra.
22for these are days of avenging, that all the things that are written may be accomplished.
22 Zama jirbey din ga ti banayaŋ waney hal i ma hari kulu kaŋ i hantum din toonandi.
23But woe to them that are with child and to them who give suck in those days, for there shall be great distress upon the land and wrath upon this people.
23 Amma kaari ngey kaŋ gonda gunde, da ngey mo kaŋ yaŋ go ga naanandi jirbey din ra! Zama zarraba korno ga te laabo ra, futay mo ga te dumo wo gaa.
24And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of [the] nations until [the] times of [the] nations be fulfilled.
24 Takuba g'i zeeri, i ga kond'ey tamtaray dumi kulu ra. Dumi cindey mo ga Urusalima taamu kala waati kaŋ i alwaatey ga kubay.
25And there shall be signs in sun and moon and stars, and upon the earth distress of nations in perplexity [at] the roar of the sea and rolling waves,
25 Alaamayaŋ ga bara wayna da hando da handariyayzey ra. Ndunnya ra mo, ndunnya dumey ga bara bine saray ra. I laakal ga tun gumo teeko dunduyaŋ da hari bondayey sabbay se.
26men ready to die through fear and expectation of what is coming on the habitable earth, for the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
26 Borey ga yangala humburkumay da joote sabbay se, hayey kaŋ ga ba ka kaa ndunnya gaa sabbay se, zama beene dabarey ga zinji.
27And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
27 Gaa no i ga di Boro Izo go ga kaa beene buru fo ra da dabari nda darza bambata.
28But when these things begin to come to pass, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws nigh.

29And he spoke a parable to them: Behold the fig-tree and all the trees;
29 Yesu ci i se misa fo ka ne: «Guna jeejay nya nda tuurey kulu.
30when they already sprout, ye know of your own selves, [on] looking [at them], that already the summer is near.
30 Waato kaŋ i sintin ka te kobto hal araŋ di a, araŋ ga bay araŋ boŋ se kaŋ kaydiya ga ba ka to.
31So also *ye*, when ye see these things take place, know that the kingdom of God is near.
31 Yaadin mo no araŋ, alwaato kaŋ araŋ di hayey din sintin ka te, araŋ ma bay kaŋ Irikoy koytara maan.
32Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall in no wise pass away until all come to pass.
32 Haciika ay ga ne araŋ se: dumo wo si ban, kala day hayey din kulu ma te.
33The heaven and the earth shall pass away, but my words shall in no wise pass away.
33 Beene nda ganda ga tuusu, amma ay sanney wo si tuusu.
34But take heed to yourselves lest possibly your hearts be laden with surfeiting and drinking and cares of life, and that day come upon you suddenly unawares;
34 Wa haggoy d'araŋ boŋ fa, hal araŋ biney ma si tin da butuguyaŋ, da buguyaŋ, da ne fundi wo sakullayaŋ mo, zama zaaro din ma si kaa araŋ gaa jirsi boŋ, sanda hirrimi cine.
35for as a snare shall it come upon all them that dwell upon the face of the whole earth.
35 Zama a ga kaa ndunnya gorokoy kulu gaa.
36Watch therefore, praying at every season, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things which are about to come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
36 Amma alwaati kulu, kal araŋ ma batu, araŋ ma ŋwaaray hal araŋ ma du dabari ka hayey din kulu kaŋ yaŋ ga ba ka te yana, araŋ ma kay Boro Izo jine mo.»
37And by day he was teaching in the temple, and by night, going out, he remained abroad on the mountain called [the mount] of Olives;
37 Zaari kulu Yesu go ga dondonandi Irikoy windo ra. Cin kulu mo a ga fatta ka koy kani tondo boŋ kaŋ se i ga ne Zeytun* tondo.
38and all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple to hear him.
