Malachi

3

1Behold, I send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me; and the Lord whom ye seek will suddenly come to his temple, and the Angel of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he cometh, saith Jehovah of hosts.
1 Guna, ay g'ay diya donton, a ga fonda soola mo ay jine. Rabbi mo, kaŋ araŋ goono ga ceeci, sahãadin a ga kaa nga fuwo kaŋ i ga sududu a se ra. Nga kaŋ ti alkawli diya kaŋ araŋ ga maa a kaani gumo, guna a ga kaa. Yaadin no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci.
2But who shall endure the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? For he will be like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' lye.
2 Amma may no ga hin a kaayaŋ zaaro? May no ga hin ka kay mo waati kaŋ a ga bangay? Zama a ga hima zam danji cine, da nyunako saafun mo.
3And he shall sit [as] a refiner and purifier of silver; and he will purify the children of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver; and they shall offer unto Jehovah an oblation in righteousness.
3 A ga goro mo ka hanandi sanda mate kaŋ wura zam ga nzarfu hanandi cine. A ga Lawi izey hanandi no. A g'i hanandi sanda wura nda nzarfu cine, hal i ma sargayyaŋ salle Rabbi se adilitaray ra.
4Then shall the oblation of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto Jehovah, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
4 Waati din gaa no Yahuda sargayey da Urusalima* waney ga ciya hari kaano Rabbi se, sanda waato jirbey ra da za doŋ jiirey cine.
5And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against the false swearers, and against those that oppress the hired servant in [his] wages, the widow and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger [from his right], and fear not me, saith Jehovah of hosts.
5 Ay ga kaa araŋ gaa ciiti teeyaŋ sabbay se. Ay ga waasu ka ciya seeda ziimey, da zina-teerey, da ngey kaŋ yaŋ ga ze da tangari, da ngey kaŋ yaŋ ga goy-ize zamba i alhakko sanni do haray din boŋ. Ngey nda borey mo kaŋ yaŋ goono ga wayboro kaŋ kurnye bu, da alatuumey kankam, i goono ga ce-yaw ganji haŋ kaŋ a hima ka du, i mana humburu ay mo. Yaadin no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci.
6For I Jehovah change not, and ye, sons of Jacob, are not consumed.
6 Zama ay wo, Rabbi, ay si barmay bo. Woodin se no, ya araŋ Yakuba izey, i mana araŋ halaci.
7Since the days of your fathers have ye departed from my statutes, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith Jehovah of hosts. But ye say, Wherein shall we return?
7 Za araŋ kaayey gaa no araŋ kamba k'ay hin sanney taŋ, araŋ man'i haggoy mo. Wa bare ka ye ka kaa ay do, ay mo ga ye araŋ do. Yaadin no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci. Amma araŋ go ga ne: «Mate no iri ga te ka ye ka kaa d'a?»
8Will a man rob God? But ye rob me. And ye say, Wherein do we rob thee? [In] tithes and heave-offerings.
8 To, boro ga Irikoy kom, wala? Amma araŋ wo, araŋ goono g'ay kom. Amma araŋ go ga ne: «Man gaa no iri na ni kom, binde?» To, zakkey da sargayey do haray no.
9Ye are cursed with a curse; and me ye rob, [even] this whole nation.
9 Araŋ ya laali hariyaŋ no zama araŋ, dumo wo kulu, araŋ goono g'ay kom.
10Bring the whole tithe into the treasure-house, that there may be food in my house, and prove me now herewith, saith Jehovah of hosts, if I open not to you the windows of the heavens, and pour you out a blessing, till there be no place for it.
Yaadin no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci.
11And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast its fruit before the time in the field, saith Jehovah of hosts.
11 Ay ga deeni mo aŋwaara gaa araŋ sabbay se, a ma s'araŋ laabo nafa halaci. Tuuri-nya mo si nga izey zama za a ninyaŋ waate mana to fari ra. Yaadin no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci.
12And all nations shall call you blessed; for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith Jehovah of hosts.
12 Dumi cindey kulu mo ga ne araŋ se bine-kaani-koyyaŋ, zama araŋ ga ciya laabu gaakurante. Yaadin no Rabbi Kundeykoyo ci.
13Your words have been stout against me, saith Jehovah; but ye say, What have we been speaking against thee?
13 Rabbi Kundeykoyo ne: «Araŋ gaaba nd'ay da sanni yaamoyaŋ.» Amma araŋ go ga ne: «Man gaa no iri salaŋ ka gaaba nda nin?»
14Ye say, It is vain to serve God; and what profit is it that we keep his charge, and that we walk mournfully before Jehovah of hosts?
14 To, za kaŋ araŋ ne: «Yaamo no boro ma may Irikoy se. Ifo ga ti a nafa binde iri se iri m'a lordey gana, iri ma dira Rabbi Kundeykoyo jine da bu hẽeni hasaraw?
15And now we hold the proud for happy; yea, they that work wickedness are built up; yea, they tempt God, and they escape.
15 Sohõ binde, iri ga ne boŋbeeraykoyey se bine-kaani-koyyaŋ no. Oho, ngey kaŋ yaŋ goono ga goy laalo te mo, ngey no ka tonton. Oho, i ga Irikoy si, i ga yana mo.»
16Then they that feared Jehovah spoke often one to another; and Jehovah observed [it], and heard, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared Jehovah, and that thought upon his name.
16 Waato din gaa ngey kaŋ yaŋ ga humburu Rabbi salaŋ care se, Rabbi mo na hanga jeeri ka maa, kal i na fonguyaŋ tira hantum a jine, borey kaŋ yaŋ ga humburu Rabbi, da ngey kaŋ yaŋ g'a maa beerandi din mo se.
17And they shall be unto me a peculiar treasure, saith Jehovah of hosts, in the day that I prepare; and I will spare them as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
17 Rabbi Kundeykoyo ne: I ga ciya ay wane yaŋ, zaaro kaŋ ra ay g'i soola i ma ciya ay jisiri darzante. Ay g'i haggoy mo, sanda mate kaŋ cine boro ga nga ize kaŋ ga may a se haggoy.
18And ye shall return and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
18 Waati din gaa araŋ ga ye ka bay fayanka kaŋ go adilante* da boro laalo game ra, danga boro kaŋ ga may Irikoy se da boro kaŋ si may a se game ra nooya.
