1And rising up thence he comes into the coasts of Judaea, and the other side of the Jordan. And again crowds come together to him, and, as he was accustomed, again he taught them.
1 Yesu tun noodin ka koy Yahudiya* laabo ra, Urdun* daŋanta haray. Borey marga bambata ye ka margu a do koyne.
2And Pharisees coming to [him] asked him, Is it lawful for a man to put away [his] wife? (tempting him).
2 Farisi* fonda borey mo kaa a do k'a hã ka ne: «A ga halal* no boro ma nga wande fay?» I goono g'a si no.
3But he answering said to them, What did Moses command you?
3 Yesu tu ka ne: «Ifo no Musa n'araŋ lordi nd'a?»
4And they said, Moses allowed to write a bill of divorce, and to put away.
4 I ne: «Musa yadda i ma hiijay fayyaŋ tira hantum, i m'a fay mo.»
5And Jesus answering said to them, In view of your hard-heartedness he wrote this commandment for you;
6but from [the] beginning of [the] creation God made them male and female.
7For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be united to his wife,
8and the two shall be one flesh: so that they are no longer two but one flesh.
8 i boro hinka mo ga ciya gaaham folloŋ.› Yaadin gaa, ngey wo manti ihinka no ne ka koy jina, amma gaaham folloŋ no.
9What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.
9 Haŋ kaŋ Irikoy haw care gaa, boro ma s'a feeri.»
10And again in the house the disciples asked him concerning this.
10 Fuwo ra mo, talibey ye k'a hã sanno wo koyne.
11And he says to them, Whosoever shall put away his wife and shall marry another, commits adultery against her.
11 A ne i se: «Boro kulu kaŋ ga nga wande fay k'afo hiiji, a go ga zina izeena gaa nooya.
12And if a woman put away her husband and shall marry another, she commits adultery.
12 Wayboro mo, d'a na kurnyo fay k'afo hiiji, zina no nga mo go ga te.»
13And they brought little children to him that he might touch them. But the disciples rebuked those that brought [them].
13 I kand'a se zanka kayna yaŋ koyne zama a m'i ham, amma talibey deeni i gaa.
14But Jesus seeing [it], was indignant, and said to them, Suffer the little children to come to me; forbid them not; for of such is the kingdom of God.
14 Waato kaŋ Yesu di woodin, a te bine ka ne i se: «Wa naŋ zanka kayney ma kaa ay do. Wa s'i ganji, zama woone yaŋ dumi no Irikoy koytara ga bara nd'a.
15Verily I say to you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, shall in no wise enter into it.
15 Haciika ay ga ci araŋ se: boro kulu kaŋ si Irikoy koytara ta sanda zanka kayna cine si furo a ra hal abada.»
16And having taken them in his arms, having laid his hands on them, he blessed them.
16 A na zankey ganday ka nga kambey dake i boŋ, ka albarka daŋ i gaa.
17And as he went forth into the way, a person ran up to [him], and kneeling to him asked him, Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?
17 Waato kaŋ Yesu dira ka koy fonda ra, boro fo kaa a do da zuray ka sombu a se. A na Yesu hã ka ne: «Alfa hanno, ifo no ay ga hima ka te hal ay ma du fundi hal abada ka tubu?»
18But Jesus said to him, Why callest thou me good? no one is good but one, [that is] God.
18 Yesu ne a se: «Ifo se no ni ga ne ay se ihanno? Ihanno kulu si no kala afolloŋ, Irikoy hinne.
19Thou knowest the commandments: Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honour thy father and mother.
19 To. Ni ga lordey* bay kaŋ ne: ‹Ni ma si boro wi, ni ma si zina, ni ma si zay, ni ma si tangari seeda te, ni ma si zamba, ni ma ni baaba nda ni nya beerandi.› »
20And he answering said to him, Teacher, all these things have I kept from my youth.
20 A ne Yesu se: «Alfa, woodin yaŋ kulu no ay gana ka haggoy d'ey za ay go arwasu.»
21And Jesus looking upon him loved him, and said to him, One thing lackest thou: go, sell whatever thou hast and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me, [taking up the cross].
21 Yesu n'a guna nda baakasinay ka ne a se: «Hari folloŋ no ni jaŋ. Ma koy ka hay kulu kaŋ go ni se neera k'a zaban talkey se -- ni mo ga du arzaka beena ra. Ma kaa mo k'ay gana.»
22But he, sad at the word, went away grieved, for he had large possessions.
22 Amma waato kaŋ bora maa woodin, a moyduma hasara. A dira nda bine saray, zama arzakante no gumo.
23And Jesus looking around says to his disciples, How difficultly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
23 Yesu mo na nga windanta guna ka ne nga talibey se: «Da cat no ngey kaŋ gonda arzaka ma furo Irikoy koytara ra!»
24And the disciples were amazed at his words. And Jesus again answering says to them, Children, how difficult it is that those who trust in riches should enter into the kingdom of God!
24 Talibey dambara a sanno sabbay se. Yesu mo ye ka tu ka ne i se: «Ay zankey, a ga sandi sanda ifo cine ngey kaŋ yaŋ goono ga naanay arzaka gaa din se, i ma furo Irikoy koytara ra.
25It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
26And they were exceedingly astonished, saying to one another, And who can be saved?
26 I dambara gumo ka ne care se: «Yaadin gaa, may no ga hin ka du faaba?»
27But Jesus looking on them says, With men it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.
27 Yesu n'i guna ka ne i se: «I si hin ka woodin te borey do, amma Irikoy do manti yaadin no, zama Irikoy do hari kulu ga te.»
28Peter began to say to him, Behold, *we* have left all things and have followed thee.
28 Woodin banda Bitros sintin ka ne a se: «Guna me, iri na hay kulu naŋ ka ni gana.»
29Jesus answering said, Verily I say to you, There is no one who has left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, [or wife], or children, or lands, for my sake and for the sake of the gospel,
30that shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time: houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions, and in the coming age life eternal.
Zamana kaŋ ga kaa ra mo, a ga du fundi hal abada.
31But many first shall be last, and the last first.
31 Amma boro boobo kaŋ ga ti sintina waney ga ye kokor banda, kokor banda waney mo ga ciya sintina.»
32And they were in the way going up to Jerusalem, and Jesus was going on before them; and they were amazed, and were afraid as they followed. And taking the twelve again to [him], he began to tell them what was going to happen to him:
32 I go no fonda ra ga koy Urusalima*. Yesu goono ga dira i jine. Talibey mo dambara. Ngey kaŋ yaŋ goono g'a banda gana mo humburu. Yesu ye ka iway cindi hinka din ye kambu fo ka soobay ka ci i se haŋ kaŋ ga du nga.
33Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and the Son of man shall be delivered up to the chief priests and to the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death, and shall deliver him up to the nations:
33 A ne i se: «Wa guna, iri goono ga koy Urusalima. I ga Boro Izo nooyandi alfaga beerey da asariya dondonandikoy se. I ga buuyaŋ ciiti te a se k'a nooyandi dumi cindey se.
34and they shall mock him, and shall scourge him, and shall spit upon him, and shall kill him; and after three days he shall rise again.
34 Ngey mo g'a hahaara ka tufa a gaa k'a barzu k'a wi mo. Jirbi hinza banda mo a ga ye ka tun.»
35And there come to him James and John, the sons of Zebedee, saying [to him], Teacher, we would that whatsoever we may ask thee, thou wouldst do it for us.
35 Yakuba nda Yohanna, Zabadi izey maan Yesu do ka ne a se: «Alfa, iri ga ba ni ma te iri se haŋ kaŋ iri ga ŋwaaray ni gaa.»
36And he said to them, What would ye that I should do for you?
36 A ne i se: «Ifo no araŋ ga ba ay ma te araŋ se?»
37And they said to him, Give to us that we may sit, one on thy right hand, and one on thy left hand, in thy glory.
37 I ne a se: «Ma yadda iri se iri ma goro afo ni kambe ŋwaaro gaa, afa ni kambe wow gaa ni darza ra.»
38And Jesus said to them, Ye do not know what ye ask. Are ye able to drink the cup which *I* drink, or be baptised with the baptism that *I* am baptised with?
38 Amma Yesu ne i se: «Araŋ si bay haŋ kaŋ no araŋ goono ga ŋwaaray. Araŋ ga hin k'ay haŋyaŋ haro dumi haŋ no?
39And they said to him, We are able. And Jesus said to them, The cup that *I* drink ye will drink and with the baptism that *I* am baptised with ye will be baptised,
39 I ne a se: «Iri ga hin.» Amma Yesu ne i se: «Daahir no, haro kaŋ ay go ga haŋ, araŋ mo g'a haŋ. Baptisma kaŋ i go ga te ay se mo, nga no i ga te araŋ se.
40but to sit on my right hand or on my left is not mine to give, but for those for whom it is prepared.
40 Amma ay kambe ŋwaaro d'ay kambe wow gaa gora, manti ay wane no hala y'a no, amma a ga ciya ngey din wane kaŋ se i n'a soola.»
41And the ten having heard [of it], began to be indignant about James and John.
41 Waato kaŋ boro waya maa sanney din, i sintin ka dukur Yakuba nda Yohanna se.
42But Jesus having called them to [him], says to them, Ye know that those who are esteemed to rule over the nations exercise lordship over them; and their great men exercise authority over them;
42 Yesu n'i ce nga do ka ne i se: «Araŋ ga bay kaŋ ngey wo kaŋ i g'i lasaabu i ga dabari dumi cindey boŋ ga hin futay cabe i se. Dabarikooney mo ga dabari cabe i se.
43but it is not thus among you; but whosoever would be great among you, shall be your minister;
43 Amma manti yaadin no a ga ciya araŋ do. Amma boro kaŋ ga ba nga ma ciya ibeeri araŋ game ra, a ga ciya araŋ se zanka.
44and whosoever would be first of you shall be bondman of all.
44 Boro kulu kaŋ ga ba nga ma ciya jine boro araŋ game ra, a ga ciya araŋ kulu se bannya.
45For also the Son of man did not come to be ministered to, but to minister, and give his life a ransom for many.
45 Zama baa Boro Izo mana kaa i ma nga saajaw, amma zama nga din ma borey saajaw, a ma nga fundo no mo fansa hari boro boobo nangu ra.»
46And they come to Jericho, and as he was going out from Jericho, and his disciples and a large crowd, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, the blind [man], sat by the wayside begging.
46 I kaa Yeriko kwaara. Waato kaŋ Yesu goono ga fatta Yeriko, nga nda nga talibey nda borey marga bambata, danaw fo kaŋ a maa ga ti Bartimawus, Timawus ize goono ga goro fonda me gaa ka bar kar.
47And having heard that it was Jesus the Nazaraean, he began to cry out and to say, O Son of David, Jesus, have mercy on me.
47 Waato kaŋ a maa i ne Yesu, Nazara bora no go ga bisa, kal a soobay ka nga jinda sambu ka ne: «Ya Yesu, Dawda Izo, ma bakar ay se!»
48And many rebuked him, that he might be silent; but he cried so much the more, Son of David, have mercy on me.
49And Jesus, standing still, desired him to be called. And they call the blind [man], saying to him, Be of good courage, rise up, he calls thee.
49 Yesu mo kay ka ne: «W'a ce.» I na danawo ce ka ne a se: «Ni bina ma kaan. Tun, a goono ga ni ce.»
50And, throwing away his garment, he started up and came to Jesus.
50 Nga mo, a na nga kwaayo furu, ka sar ka kaa Yesu do.
51And Jesus answering says to him, What wilt thou that I shall do to thee? And the blind [man] said to him, Rabboni, that I may see.
51 Yesu ne a se: «Ifo no ni ga ba ay ma te ni se?» Danawo ne a se: «Alfa, ay ma du ka di koyne.»
52And Jesus said to him, Go, thy faith has healed thee. And he saw immediately, and followed him in the way.
52 Yesu ne a se: «Ma ni diraw te. Ni cimbeero* na ni no baani.»
53 Sahãadin-sahãadin a ye ka di ka Yesu gana fonda ra.
