1Then shall the kingdom of the heavens be made like to ten virgins that having taken their torches, went forth to meet the bridegroom.
1 Gaa no i ga beene koytara himandi sanda wandiyo way kaŋ yaŋ na ngey fitillayaŋ sambu ka koy ka arhiiji kubay.
2And five of them were prudent and five foolish.
2 I ra igu wo sinda laakal, amma igu fa din laakalkooniyaŋ no.
3They that were foolish took their torches and did not take oil with them;
3 Zama ngey kaŋ sinda laakal din, saaya kaŋ i na ngey fitilley sambu, i mana ji sambu i banda.
4but the prudent took oil in their vessels with their torches.

5Now the bridegroom tarrying, they all grew heavy and slept.

6But in [the] middle of [the] night there was a cry, Behold, the bridegroom; go forth to meet him.
6 Amma cino farsi bindi, kal i maa cilili: ‹Wa guna, arhiijo neeya! Wa fatta k'a kubay!›
7Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their torches.
7 Alwaato din ra binde, wandiyey din kulu tun ka ngey fitilley hanse.
8And the foolish said to the prudent, Give us of your oil, for our torches are going out.
8 Ngey kaŋ sinda laakal ne laakalkooney se: ‹W'iri no araŋ jiyey gaa, zama iri fitilley goono ga bu.›
9But the prudent answered saying, [We cannot,] lest it might not suffice for us and for you. Go rather to those that sell, and buy for yourselves.
9 Amma laakalkooney tu ka ne i se: ‹Hambara a si wasa in d'araŋ se. Wa koy neerakoy do ka day araŋ boŋ se.›
10But as they went away to buy, the bridegroom came, and the [ones that were] ready went in with him to the wedding feast, and the door was shut.
10 Waato kaŋ i koy daymo do, kal arhiijo kaa i banda. Borey kaŋ yaŋ go soolanteyaŋ furo arhiijo banda hiijay bato ra. I na windi meyo daabu mo.
11Afterwards come also the rest of the virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us;
11 Kokor banda wandiyo fey din mo kaa ka ne: ‹Rabbi, Rabbi, ma fiti iri se!›
12but he answering said, Verily I say unto you, I do not know you.
12 Amma a tu ka ne: ‹Haciika, ay ga ne araŋ se: ay s'araŋ bay.›
13Watch therefore, for ye know not the day nor the hour.
13 Araŋ ma batu fa, zama araŋ si zaaro wala saaya bay!
14For [it is] as [if] a man going away out of a country called his own bondmen and delivered to them his substance.
14 Zama a si hima kala boro kaŋ ga koy laabu fo. A na nga tamey ce ka nga arzaka talfi i gaa.
15And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to each according to his particular ability, and immediately went away out of the country.
15 A na talent gu no afo se, afo mo se talent* hinka, afo mo talent fo. A n'i kulu no ngey hina me, gaa no a na nga diraw te.
16And he that had received the five talents went and trafficked with them, and made five other talents.
16 Sahãadin-sahãadin nga kaŋ na iguwa din ta koy ka daymi te ka du igu fo koyne.
17In like manner also he that [had received] the two, [he also] gained two others.
17 Yaadin no nga mo kaŋ na ihinka ta, nga mo du ihinka koyne.
18But he that had received the one went and dug in the earth, and hid the money of his lord.
18 Amma bora kaŋ n'afa ta din, a koy ka guusu fansi no laabo ra ka nga koyo nooro tugu.
19And after a long time the lord of those bondmen comes and reckons with them.
19 A go no, alwaati kuuku banda, kala tamey din koyo kaa. Nga nd'ey soobay ka lasaabu.
20And he that had received the five talents came to [him] and brought five other talents, saying, [My] lord, thou deliveredst me five talents; behold, I have gained five other talents besides them.
20 Bora kaŋ na talent guwa ta din kaa ka kande igu fo koyne ka ne: ‹Ay jine bora, guna, talent guwa kaŋ ni no ay se kande igu fo riiba.›
21His lord said to him, Well, good and faithful bondman, thou wast faithful over a few things, I will set thee over many things: enter into the joy of thy lord.
21 A koyo ne a se: ‹A boori! Ni ya tam hanno no, naanaykoy mo. Ni na naanay cabe hari kayna yaŋ ra, ay ga ni daŋ hari boobo boŋ. Ma furo ni koyo farhãyaŋo ra.›
22And he also that had received the two talents came to [him] and said, [My] lord, thou deliveredst me two talents; behold, I have gained two other talents besides them.
22 Bora kaŋ na talent hinka ta din mo kaa ka ne: ‹Ay jine bora, talent hinka kaŋ ni no ay se kande ihinka fo riiba.›
23His lord said to him, Well, good and faithful bondman, thou wast faithful over a few things, I will set thee over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
23 A koyo ne a se: ‹A boori! Ni ya tam hanno no, naanaykoy mo. Ni na naanay cabe hari kayna yaŋ ra, ay ga ni daŋ hari boobo boŋ. Ma furo ni koyo farhãyaŋo ra.›
24And he also that had received the one talent coming to [him] said, [My] lord, I knew thee that thou art a hard man, reaping where thou hadst not sowed, and gathering from where thou hadst not scattered,
24 Bora kaŋ na talent fa ta din mo kaa ka ne: ‹Ay jine bora, ay bay ni ya boro no kaŋ si bakar. Ni ga nangu kaŋ ni mana duma wi, nangu kaŋ ni mana say mo, ni ga hin ka margu.
25and being afraid I went away and hid thy talent in the earth; behold, thou hast that which is thine.

26And his lord answering said to him, Wicked and slothful bondman, thou knewest that I reap where I had not sowed, and gather from where I had not scattered;
26 Amma a koyo tu ka ne a se: ‹Ni ya tam laalo no, kaŋ ga hawfun mo! Ni bay kaŋ ay ga wi naŋ kaŋ manti ay k'a duma, ay ga margu mo naŋ kaŋ ay mana say.
27thou oughtest then to have put my money to the money-changers, and when I came I should have got what is mine with interest.
27 A ga hima doŋ ni ma kond'ay nooro barmaykoy do. D'ay kaa ay ga du a, nga nda nga riiba.
28Take therefore the talent from him, and give it to him that has the ten talents:
28 Wa taleŋo din ta a gaa k'a no bora kaŋ gonda iway din se.
29for to every one that has shall be given, and he shall be in abundance; but from him that has not, that even which he has shall be taken from him.
29 Zama boro kulu kaŋ gonda, nga se no i ga no, a ma du iboobo mo. Amma boro kaŋ sinda, baa haŋ kaŋ go a se din, i g'a ta a gaa.
30And cast out the useless bondman into the outer darkness; there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.

31But when the Son of man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit down upon his throne of glory,
31 Amma waati kaŋ Boro Izo ga kaa nga beera ra, da malaykey kulu a banda, alwaati din no a ga goro nga darza karga boŋ.
32and all the nations shall be gathered before him; and he shall separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats;
32 I ga ndunnya dumey kulu mo margu a jine. Nga no g'i kaa care ra, mate kaŋ cine kuruko ga hincin da feeji kaa care ra.
33and he will set the sheep on his right hand, and the goats on [his] left.
33 A ga feejey ye nga kambe ŋwaaro gaa, hinciney mo nga kambe wow gaa.
34Then shall the King say to those on his right hand, Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from [the] world's foundation:
34 Gaa no Koyo ga ne nga kambe ŋwaaro gaa waney se: ‹Araŋ wo ay Baabo albarkantey, wa kaa! Araŋ ma koytara kaŋ i soola araŋ se za ndunnya sinjiyaŋ tubu.
35for I hungered, and ye gave me to eat; I thirsted, and ye gave me to drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in;
35 Zama ay maa haray, araŋ n'ay no ŋwaari. Ay maa jaw, araŋ n'ay no hari ya haŋ. Ay go yawtaray ra, araŋ n'ay zumandi araŋ do.
36naked, and ye clothed me; I was ill, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came to me.
36 Ay banji, araŋ n'ay bankaaray. Ay jante, araŋ n'ay kunfa. Ay go kasu ra, araŋ kaa ay do.›
37Then shall the righteous answer him saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungering, and nourished thee; or thirsting, and gave thee to drink?
37 Gaa no adilantey ga tu ka ne a se: ‹Rabbi, waatifo no iri di nin da haray, iri na ni no ŋwaari? wala nda jaw, iri na ni no haŋyaŋ hari?
38and when saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in; or naked, and clothed thee?
38 Waatifo mo no iri di nin yawtaray ra, hal iri na ni zumandi? wala banji ra, hal iri na ni bankaaray?
39and when saw we thee ill, or in prison, and came to thee?
39 Waatifo no iri di ni jante, wala ni go kasu ra, hala iri kaa ni do?›
40And the King answering shall say to them, Verily, I say to you, Inasmuch as ye have done it to one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it to me.
40 Koyo mo ga tu ka ne i se: ‹Haciika, ay ga ne araŋ se: za kaŋ araŋ na woodin te ay nya-izey wo se, baa bora kaŋ ga kayna ka bisa ikulu, ay se no araŋ n'a te.›
41Then shall he say also to those on the left, Go from me, cursed, into eternal fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
41 Gaa no a ga ne nga kambe wow haray waney se: ‹Wa fay d'ay, araŋ laalantey, ka koy furo danji kaŋ ga duumi ra, kaŋ i soola Iblisi nda nga malaykey se.
42for I hungered, and ye gave me not to eat; I thirsted, and ye gave me not to drink;
42 Zama ay maa haray, araŋ man'ay no ŋwaari. Ay maa jaw, araŋ man'ay no haŋyaŋ hari.
43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in; naked, and ye did not clothe me; ill, and in prison, and ye did not visit me.
43 Ay go yawtaray ra, araŋ man'ay zumandi, da banji ra mo, araŋ man'ay bankaaray. Ay jante, ay furo kasu mo, araŋ day man'ay kunfa.›
44Then shall *they* also answer saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungering, or thirsting, or a stranger, or naked, or ill, or in prison, and have not ministered to thee?
44 Gaa no ngey mo ga tu ka ne: ‹Rabbi, waatifo no iri di nin da haray, wala da jaw, wala yawtaray ra, wala banji ra, wala nda jante, wala kasu ra, kaŋ iri mana ni saajaw?›
45Then shall he answer them saying, Verily I say to you, Inasmuch as ye have not done it to one of these least, neither have ye done it to me.
45 Gaa no nga mo ga tu i se ka ne: ‹Haciika, ay ga ne araŋ se: za kaŋ araŋ mana woodin te bora kaŋ kayna nda ikulu afo se, ay se no araŋ man'a te.›
46And these shall go away into eternal punishment, and the righteous into life eternal.
46 Woodin yaŋ mo ga koy gurzugay kaŋ ga duumi bona ra, amma adilantey ga koy fundi hal abada ra.»
