1{To the chief Musician. Of David. A Psalm.} I waited patiently for Jehovah; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

2And he brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock; he hath established my goings:
2 Suuru no ay ga hangan d'a Rabbi se, A na hanga jeeri ka maa ay se, a maa ay hẽeno mo.
3And he hath put a new song in my mouth, praise unto our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall confide in Jehovah.
3 A n'ay soolam ka kaa halacandiyaŋ guuso ra, Tibi botogo laalo ra. A n'ay cey sinji tondi daari boŋ, A n'ay taamuyaŋey mo kayandi.
4Blessed is the man that hath made Jehovah his confidence, and turneth not to the proud, and to such as turn aside to lies.
4 A na baytu taji daŋ ay meyo ra mo, Saabuyaŋ nooya iri Irikoyo se. Boro boobo ga di, i ma humburu, i ma de Rabbi gaa mo.
5Thou, O Jehovah my God, hast multiplied thy marvellous works, and thy thoughts toward us: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee; would I declare and speak [them], they are more than can be numbered.
5 Albarkante no boro kaŋ na Rabbi te nga deyaŋ hari. A si nga jine ye boŋbeeraykoyey do haray, wala borey kaŋ yaŋ ga kamba tangari do haray.
6Sacrifice and oblation thou didst not desire: ears hast thou prepared me. Burnt-offering and sin-offering hast thou not demanded;
6 Ya Rabbi ay Irikoyo, dambara goyey kaŋ ni te, Da ni fongu-fonguyaŋey mo kaŋ ni gonda iri do haray ga baa gumo. Afo kulu si no kaŋ i ga kar ni gaa. Baa d'ay ga ba ay m'i bangandi, ay m'i baaru dede, I bisa lasaabuyaŋ.
7Then said I, Behold, I come, in the volume of the book it is written of me --
7 Ni si ba sargay da nooyaŋ, Ni n'ay hanga fun. Sargay summaare kaŋ i ga ton, Da zunubi se sargay, ni s'i hã.
8To do thy good pleasure, my God, is my delight, and thy law is within my heart.
8 Gaa no ay ne: «Ay neeya, ay kaa. I hantum ay boŋ tira kunkunanta ra.
9I have published righteousness in the great congregation: behold, I have not withheld my lips, Jehovah, *thou* knowest.
9 Ya ay Irikoyo, ay farhã ga ti ni miila teeyaŋo, Daahir, ni asariya go ay bina ra.»
10I have not hidden thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy loving-kindness and thy truth from the great congregation.
10 Ay na adilitaray baaru hanna fe jama marga bambata ra, A go, ay s'ay meyo ganj'a. Ya Rabbi, ni ga bay.
11Withhold not thou, Jehovah, thy tender mercies from me; let thy loving-kindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
11 Ay mana ni adilitara tugu ay bina ra bo, Ay na ni naanayo da ni faaba ci no. Ay mana ni baakasinay suujo da ni cimo daabu jama marga bambata se mo.
12For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I cannot see; they are more than the hairs of my head: and my heart hath failed me.
12 Ya Rabbi, ni s'ay ganji ni bakarawo. Ni baakasinay suujo da ni cimo g'ay haggoy duumi.
13Be pleased, O Jehovah, to deliver me; Jehovah, make haste to my help.
13 Zama masiibey kaŋ ga baa da lasaabuyaŋ n'ay windi, Ay taaley mo n'ay to hala ay si hin k'ay boŋ sambu ka beena guna. I baa da ay boŋ hamno, ay bina-gaabo mo gaze.
14Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be turned backward and confounded that take pleasure in mine adversity;
14 Ya Rabbi, ma yadda k'ay kaa kambe. Ya Rabbi, ma cahã k'ay gaakasinay.
15Let them be desolate, because of their shame, that say unto me, Aha! Aha!
15 Borey kaŋ yaŋ g'ay fundo ceeci zama ngey m'a halaci se, Naŋ i ma haaw, i boŋ ma haw me folloŋ. Ngey kaŋ yaŋ ga farhã nd'ay hasarawo, Naŋ i ma bare ka ye banda ka kayna haŋ.
16Let all those that seek thee be glad and rejoice in thee; let such as love thy salvation say continually, Jehovah be magnified!
16 Ngey kaŋ ga ne ay se: «Ahãa! Ahãa!» Naŋ i ma dangay siw i haawo sabbay se,
17But I am afflicted and needy: the Lord thinketh upon me. Thou art my help and my deliverer: my God, make no delay.
17 Borey kaŋ yaŋ ga ni ceeci kulu ma te bine kaani da farhã ni do. Ngey kaŋ yaŋ ga ba ni faaba ma soobay ka ne: «Wa Rabbi beerandi!»
18 Ay wo taabante no kaŋ gonda laami, Kulu nda yaadin Koy Beero ga fongu ay gaa. Ni ga ti ay gaakasina d'ay faabakwa mo. Ya ay Irikoyo, ma si gay!
