Song of Solomon

6

1Whither is thy beloved gone, Thou fairest among women? Whither is thy beloved turned aside? And we will seek him with thee.
1 Ya nin kaŋ boori nd'i kulu wayborey game ra, Man no ni baakwa koy, Man no ni baakwa gana, Hal iri m'a ceeci ni banda? Wayhiijo ne:
2My beloved is gone down into his garden, to the beds of spices, To feed in the gardens and to gather lilies.
2 Ay baakwa zulli ka koy nga kalo do, A koy yaazi ize kosuyaŋ. A koy nga ma kuru kaley ra, nga ma waaliya boko kosu.
3I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine: He feedeth [his flock] among the lilies.
3 Ay ya ay baakwa wane no, nga mo ay wane no. A ga kuru waaliya bokoyaŋ game ra. Arhiijo ne:
4Thou art fair, my love, as Tirzah, Comely as Jerusalem, Terrible as troops with banners:
4 Ya ay baakwa, ni ya ihanno no, sanda Tirza kwaara cine. Ni ya isogo no, sanda Urusalima cine. Ni gonda gaakuri mo sanda wongu marga nda nga liiliwaley.
5Turn away thine eyes from me, For they overcome me. Thy hair is as a flock of goats On the slopes of Gilead.
5 Ma ni moy hibandi ka kaa ay gaa, Zama i n'ay bina di. Ni boŋ hamno ga hima hincin kuru, Kaŋ yaŋ goono ga zumbu ka fun Jileyad boŋ.
6Thy teeth are like a flock of sheep Which go up from the washing; Which have all borne twins, And none is barren among them.
6 Ni hinjey ga hima feeji kuru kaŋ go ga fun nyumayyaŋ do, Kaŋ yaŋ ga sasare ihinka-hinka, ihinka-hinka, Baa afolloŋ mana gaze i ra.
7As a piece of a pomegranate are thy temples Behind thy veil.
7 Ni gawaley ga hima garenad dumbari ni bangumo ra.
8There are threescore queens, and fourscore concubines, And virgins without number:
8 Wayboro bonkooni waydu no ka bara, da wahay wahakku, Wandiyey mo si kabu ka ban.
9My dove, mine undefiled, is but one; She is the only one of her mother, She is the choice one of her that bore her. The daughters saw her, and they called her blessed; The queens and the concubines, and they praised her.
9 Amma ay koloŋa wo kaŋ sinda laru, Nga hinne no, Nga hinne no za nyaŋo do, Ize kwaaso no nyaŋo kaŋ n'a hay din do. Wandiyey di a ka ne a se albarkante no. Oho, wayboro bonkooney da wahayey di a, i n'a sifa mo.
10Who is she that looketh forth as the dawn, Fair as the moon, clear as the sun, Terrible as troops with banners?
10 May no woone kaŋ goono ga bangay sanda mo boyaŋ, Ihanno no sanda hando, fasaw sanda wayna, Kaŋ gonda gaakuri sanda wongu marga nda nga liiliwaley?
11I went down into the garden of nuts, To see the verdure of the valley, To see whether the vine budded, Whether the pomegranates blossomed.
11 Ay zulli ka koy tuuri izey kalo do, Ay ma di gooro ra tilam-tilamey, Ay ma di hala reyzin* tiksa goono ga te kobto, Wala hala garenadey goono ga boosu.
12Before I was aware, My soul set me upon the chariots of my willing people.
12 Za ay mana soola, Ay bina konda ay ay boro naanaykoyey torkey ra.
13Return, return, O Shulamite; Return, return, that we may look upon thee. -- What would ye look upon in the Shulamite? -- As it were the dance of two camps.
