2

1And I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.
1 Ay ye k'ay boŋo sambu koyne. Ay guna, kal ay di boro fo kaŋ gonda neesiyaŋ korfo nga kamba ra.
2And I said, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.
2 Kal ay ne: «Man no ni ga koy?» A ne ay se: «Ay ma Urusalima neesi se, ay ma di mate kaŋ no a tafayyaŋo, d'a salleyaŋo go d'a.»
3And behold, the angel that talked with me went forth; and another angel went forth to meet him,
3 Malayka kaŋ in d'a go ga salaŋ din fatta. Malayka fo mo kaa zama nga m'a kubay.
4and said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein;
4 Nga mo ne a se: «Ma zuru ka koy ka salaŋ arwaso din se ka ne: ‹Urusalima ga ciya sanda kawye kaŋ sinda birni cinari, borey da almaney kaŋ go a ra baayaŋ sabbay se.›
5and I, saith Jehovah, I will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.
5 Rabbi ne: Zama ay no ga ciya danji cinari k'a windi, ay ga ciya darza mo a bindo ra.»
6Ho, ho! flee from the land of the north, saith Jehovah; for I have scattered you abroad as the four winds of the heavens, saith Jehovah.
6 Rabbi ne: Ay no k'araŋ say-say kuray kulu. Tun, nin wo! ka zuru ka fun azawa kambe haray laabo ra. Yaadin no Rabbi ci.
7Ho! escape, Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.
7 Tun, nin Sihiyona! ka yana, nin kaŋ goono ga goro Babila ize wayo banda.
8For thus saith Jehovah of hosts: After the glory, hath he sent me unto the nations that made you a spoil; for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.
8 Zama boro kaŋ n'araŋ ham, bora n'ay mo gura ham. Yaadin no Rabbi ci. Woodin sabbay se no Rabbi Kundeykoyo n'ay donton da nga darza dumi cindey kaŋ yaŋ n'araŋ ku wongu ra din do.
9For behold, I will shake my hand upon them, and they shall become a spoil to those that served them: and ye shall know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me.
9 A ne mo: Guna, ay g'ay kamba feeni i boŋ. Borey kaŋ se i may din ga ciya i se wongu arzaka. Araŋ ga bay mo kaŋ Rabbi Kundeykoyo no k'ay donton.
10Sing aloud and rejoice, daughter of Zion; for behold, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith Jehovah.
10 Rabbi ne: Ya nin Sihiyona ize wayo, ma doon ka farhã zama guna, ay goono ga kaa ka goro ni bindo ra.
11And many nations shall join themselves to Jehovah in that day, and shall be unto me for a people; and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

12And Jehovah shall inherit Judah [as] his portion in the holy land, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.
12 Rabbi ga Yahuda sambu mo nga baa laabu hananta ra. A ga ye ka Urusalima suuban koyne.
13Let all flesh be silent before Jehovah; for he is risen up out of his holy habitation.
13 Ya araŋ fundikooney kulu, wa dangay Rabbi jine, zama a tun nga nangoray hananta ra.»
