¹And when it opened the seventh seal, there was silence in the heaven about half an hour.

¹Na Mwanakondoo alipouvunja mhuri wa saba, kukawa kimya mbinguni kwa muda wa nusu saa.

²And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

²Kisha nikawaona wale malaika saba wanaosimama mbele ya Mungu wamepewa tarumbeta saba.

³And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and much incense was given to him, that he might give [efficacy] to the prayers of all saints at the golden altar which [was] before the throne.

³Malaika mwingine akafika, akiwa anachukua chetezo cha dhahabu, akasimama mbele ya madhabahu ya kufukizia ubani. Naye akapewa ubani mwingi autoe sadaka pamoja na sala za watu wote wa Mungu, juu ya madhabahu ya dhahabu iliyo mbele ya kiti cha enzi.

⁴And the smoke of the incense went up with the prayers of the saints, out of the hand of the angel before God.

⁴Moshi wa ubani ukapanda juu, pamoja na sala za watu wa Mungu, kutoka mikononi mwake huyo malaika aliyekuwa mbele ya Mungu.

⁵And the angel took the censer, and filled it from the fire of the altar, and cast [it] on the earth: and there were voices, and thunders and lightnings, and an earthquake.

⁵Kisha malaika akakichukua hicho chetezo, akakijaza moto wa madhabahuni akakitupa duniani. Kukawa na ngurumo, sauti, umeme na tetemeko la ardhi.

⁶And the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves that they might sound with [their] trumpets.

⁶Kisha wale malaika saba wenye tarumbeta saba wakajiweka tayari kupiga mbiu ya mgambo.

⁷And the first sounded [his] trumpet: and there was hail and fire, mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth; and the third part of the earth was burnt up, and the third part of the trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

⁷Malaika wa kwanza akapiga tarumbeta yake. Mchanganyiko wa mvua ya mawe na moto, pamoja na damu, ukamwagwa juu ya nchi. Theluthi moja ya nchi ikaungua, theluthi moja ya miti ikaungua, na majani yote mabichi yakaungua.

⁸And the second angel sounded [his] trumpet: and as a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea, and the third part of the sea became blood;

⁸Malaika wa pili akapiga tarumbeta yake. Na kitu kama mlima mkubwa unaowaka moto ukatupwa baharini. Theluthi moja ya bahari ikawa damu,

⁹and the third part of the creatures which were in the sea which had life died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

⁹theluthi moja ya viumbe vya baharini vikafa na theluthi moja ya meli zikaharibiwa.

¹⁰And the third angel sounded [his] trumpet: and there fell out of the heaven a great star, burning as a torch, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters.

¹⁰Kisha malaika wa tatu akapiga tarumbeta yake. Na nyota kubwa ikiwaka kama bonge la moto, ikaanguka kutoka mbinguni, na kutua juu ya theluthi moja ya mito na chemchemi za maji.

¹¹And the name of the star is called Wormwood; and the third part of the waters became wormwood, and many of the men died of the waters because they were made bitter.

¹¹(Nyota hiyo inaitwa "Uchungu.") Basi, theluthi moja ya maji yakawa machungu; watu wengi wakafa kutokana na maji hayo, kwa sababu yaligeuka kuwa machungu.

¹²And the fourth angel sounded [his] trumpet: and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so that the third part of them should be darkened, and that the day should not appear [for] the third part of it, and the night the same.

¹²Kisha malaika wa nne akapiga tarumbeta yake. Ndipo theluthi moja ya jua, ya mwezi na ya nyota ikapata pigo; hata mwangaza ukapoteza theluthi moja ya mng'ao wake. Theluthi moja ya mchana ikakosa mwanga, hali kadhalika na theluthi moja ya usiku.

¹³And I saw, and I heard an eagle flying in mid-heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to them that dwell upon the earth, for the remaining voices of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound.

¹³Kisha nikatazama, nikasikia tai akiruka juu kabisa angani anasema kwa sauti kubwa, "Ole, ole, ole kwa wanaoishi duniani wakati malaika watatu waliobaki watakapopiga tarumbeta zao!"
