¹And thou shalt take thee Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him, from among the children of Israel, that he may serve me as priest -- Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, Aaron's sons.

¹உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோன் எனக்கு ஆசாரிய ஊழியம் செய்யும்படிக்கு, நீ ஆரோனையும் அவனோடேகூட அவன் குமாரராகிய நாதாப், அபியூ, எலெயாசார், இத்தாமார் என்னும் ஆரோனின் குமாரரையும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரிலிருந்து பிரித்து, உன்னிடத்தில் சேர்த்துக்கொள்வாயாக.

²And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, for glory and for ornament.

²உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோனுக்கு, மகிமையும் அலங்காரமுமாய் இருக்கும் பொருட்டு, பரிசுத்த வஸ்திரங்களை உண்டுபண்ணுவாயாக.

³And thou shalt speak with all [that are] wise-hearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they may make Aaron's garments to hallow him, that he may serve me as priest.

³ஆரோன் எனக்கு ஆசாரிய ஊழியம் செய்யத்தக்கதாக அவனைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்தும்படி அவனுக்கு வஸ்திரங்களை உண்டாக்கும்பொருட்டு, நான் ஞானத்தின் ஆவியால் நிரப்பின விவேகமான இருதயமுள்ள யாவரோடும் நீ சொல்லுவாயாக.

⁴And these are the garments which they shall make: a breastplate, and an ephod, and a cloak, and a checkered vest, a turban, and a girdle; and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may serve me as priest.

⁴அவர்கள் உண்டாக்கவேண்டிய வஸ்திரங்களாவன; மார்ப்பதக்கமும், ஏபோத்தும், அங்கியும், விசித்திரமான உள்சட்டையும், பாகையும், இடைக்கச்சையுமே. உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோன் எனக்கு ஆசாரிய ஊழியம் செய்யும்படி, அவனுக்கும் அவன் குமாரருக்கும் பரிசுத்த வஸ்திரங்களை உண்டுபண்ணவேண்டும்.

⁵And they shall take gold, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus,

⁵அவர்கள் பொன்னும் இளநீலநூலும் இரத்தாம்பரநூலும் சிவப்புநூலும் மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலும் சேகரிப்பார்களாக.

⁶and shall make the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, scarlet and twined byssus, of artistic work.

⁶ஏபோத்தைப் பொன்னினாலும் இளநீலநூலாலும் இரத்தாம்பரநூலாலும் சிவப்புநூலாலும் திரித்த மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலாலும் விசித்திரவேலையாய்ச் செய்யக்கடவர்கள்.

⁷It shall have two shoulder-pieces joined at the two ends thereof, where it is joined together.

⁷அது ஒன்றாக இணைக்கப்படும் பொருட்டு, இரண்டு தோள்த்துண்டுகளின்மேலும், அதின் இரண்டு முனைகளும் சேர்க்கப்படவேண்டும்.

⁸And the girdle of the ephod, which is upon it, shall be of the same, according to its work of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet and twined byssus.

⁸அந்த ஏபோத்தின்மேல் இருக்கவேண்டிய விசித்திரமான கச்சை அந்த வேலைக்கு ஒப்பாகவே, பொன்னினாலும் இளநீலநூலாலும் இரத்தாம்பரநூலாலும் சிவப்புநூலாலும் திரித்த மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலாலும் பண்ணப்பட்டு, அதனோடே ஏகமாயிருக்கவேண்டும்.

⁹And thou shalt take two onyx stones, and engrave on them the names of the children of Israel:

⁹பின்னும் நீ இரண்டு கோமேதகக்கற்களை எடுத்து, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் நாமங்களை அவைகளில் வெட்டுவாயாக.

¹⁰six of their names on the one stone, and the six names of the rest on the other stone, according to their birth.

¹⁰அவர்கள் பிறந்த வரிசையின்படியே, அவர்களுடைய நாமங்களில் ஆறு நாமங்கள் ஒரு கல்லிலும், மற்ற ஆறு நாமங்கள் மறு கல்லிலும் இருக்கவேண்டும்.

¹¹According to the work of an engraver in stone, as the engravings of a seal, shalt thou engrave the two stones with the names of the sons of Israel; surrounded by enclosures of gold shalt thou make them.

¹¹இரத்தினங்களில் முத்திரை வெட்டுகிறவர்கள் செய்யும் வேலைக்கு ஒப்பாக அந்த இரண்டு கற்களிலும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் நாமங்களை வெட்டி, அவைகளைப் பொன் குவளைகளில் பதிப்பாயாக.

¹²And thou shalt put the two stones upon the shoulder-pieces of the ephod [as] stones of memorial for the children of Israel; and Aaron shall bear their names before Jehovah upon his two shoulders for a memorial.

¹²ஆரோன் கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாகத் தன் இரண்டு தோள்களின்மேலும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் நாமங்களை ஞாபகக்குறியாகச் சுமந்துவர, அந்த இரண்டு கற்களையும் ஏபோத்து தோள்களின்மேல் அவர்களை நினைக்கும்படியான கற்களாக வைக்கக்கடவாய்.

¹³And thou shalt make enclosures of gold;

¹³பொன்னினால் வளையங்களைப்பண்ணி,

¹⁴and two chains of pure gold; of laced work shalt thou make them, of wreathen work, and fasten the wreathen chains to the enclosures.

¹⁴சரியான அளவுக்குப் பின்னல்வேலையான இரண்டு சங்கிலிகளையும், பசும்பொன்னினால் உண்டாக்கி, அந்தச் சங்கிலிகளை அந்த வளையங்களில் பூட்டுவாயாக.

¹⁵And thou shalt make the breastplate of judgment of artistic work, like the work of the ephod thou shalt make it; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined byssus shalt thou make it.

¹⁵நியாயவிதி மார்ப்பதக்கத்தையும் விசித்திரவேலையாய்ச் செய்வாயாக; அதை ஏபோத்து வேலைக்கு ஒப்பாகப் பொன்னினாலும் இளநீலநூலாலும் இரத்தாம்பரநூலாலும் திரித்த மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலாலும் செய்வாயாக.

¹⁶Square shall it be, doubled; a span the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof.

¹⁶அது சதுரமும் இரட்டையும், ஒரு சாண் நீளமும் ஒரு சாண் அகலமுமாய் இருக்கவேண்டும்.

¹⁷And thou shalt set in it settings of stones -- four rows of stones: [one] row, a sardoin, a topaz, and an emerald -- the first row;

¹⁷அதிலே நாலு பத்தி இரத்தினக்கற்களை நிறையப் பதிப்பாயாக; முதலாம் பத்தி பத்மராகமும் புஷ்பராகமும் மாணிக்கமும்,

¹⁸and the second row, a carbuncle, a sapphire, and a diamond;

¹⁸இரண்டாம் பத்தி மரகதமும் இந்திரநீலமும் வச்சிரமும்,

¹⁹and the third row, an opal, an agate, and an amethyst;

¹⁹மூன்றாம் பத்தி கெம்பும் வைடூரியமும் சுகந்தியும்,

²⁰and the fourth row, a chrysolite, and an onyx, and a jasper; enclosed in gold shall they be in their settings.

²⁰நாலாம் பத்தி படிகப்பச்சையும் கோமேதகமும் யஸ்பியுமாய் இருப்பதாக; இவைகள் அந்தந்தப் பத்தியில் பொன்னினாலே பதித்திருக்கவேண்டும்.

²¹And the stones shall be according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, engraved as a seal: every one according to his name shall they be for the twelve tribes.

²¹இந்தக் கற்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய நாமங்களின்படியே பன்னிரண்டும், அவர்களுடைய நாமங்கள் அவைகளில் வெட்டப்பட்டவைகளுமாய் இருக்கவேண்டும்; பன்னிரண்டு கோத்திரங்களில் ஒவ்வொன்றினுடைய நாமம் ஒவ்வொன்றிலே முத்திரைவெட்டாய் வெட்டியிருக்கவேண்டும்.

²²And thou shalt make on the breastplate chains of laced work, of wreathen work, of pure gold.

²²மார்ப்பதக்கத்திற்கு அதின் பக்கங்களிலே பின்னல்வேலையான பசும்பொன் சங்கிலிகளையும் பண்ணி,

²³And thou shalt make on the breastplate two rings of gold, and shalt put the two rings on the two ends of the breastplate.

²³அந்த மார்ப்பதக்கத்திற்கு இரண்டு பொன் வளையங்களையும் பண்ணி, அந்த இரண்டு வளையங்களையும் மார்ப்பதக்கத்தின் இரண்டு பக்கங்களிலே வைத்து,

²⁴And thou shalt put the two wreathen [cords] of gold in the two rings on the ends of the breastplate;

²⁴பொன்னினால் செய்த அந்த இரண்டு பின்னல் வேலையான சங்கிலிகளையும் மார்ப்பதக்கத்தின் பக்கங்களில் இருக்கிற இரண்டு வளையங்களில் மாட்டி,

²⁵and the two ends of the two wreathen [cords] thou shalt fasten to the two enclosures, and shalt put [them] on the shoulder-pieces of the ephod, on the front thereof.

²⁵அவ்விரண்டு பின்னல் வேலையான சங்கிலிகளின் இரண்டு நுனிகளை ஏபோத்துத் தோள்த்துண்டின்மேல் அதின் முன்புறத்தில் இருக்கிற இரண்டு வளையங்களில் மாட்டுவாயாக.

²⁶And thou shalt make two rings of gold, and shalt put them on the two ends of the breastplate, on the border thereof, which faceth the ephod inwards.

²⁶நீ இரண்டு பொன்வளையங்களைப் பண்ணி, அவைகளை ஏபோத்தின் கீழ்ப்புறத்திற்கு எதிரான மார்ப்பதக்கத்தினுடைய மற்ற இரண்டு பக்கங்களிலும் அதினுடைய ஓரத்திற்குள்ளாக வைத்து,

²⁷And two rings of gold shalt thou make, and shalt put them upon the two shoulder-pieces of the ephod underneath, to the front thereof just by the coupling thereof, above the girdle of the ephod.

²⁷வேறே இரண்டு பொன்வளையங்களைப் பண்ணி, அவைகளை ஏபோத்தின் முன்புறத்து இரண்டு கீழ்ப்பக்கங்களில் அதின் இணைப்புக்கு எதிராகவும், ஏபோத்தின் விசித்திரமான கச்சைக்கு மேலாகவும் வைத்து,

²⁸And they shall bind the breastplate with its rings to the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be above the girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate be not loosed from the ephod.

²⁸மார்ப்பதக்கம் ஏபோத்தின் விசித்திரமான கச்சைக்கு மேலாக இருக்கும்படிக்கும், அது ஏபோத்திலிருந்து நீங்காதபடிக்கும், அதை அதின் வளையங்களால் ஏபோத்து வளையங்களோடே இளநீல நாடாவினால் கட்டவேண்டும்.

²⁹And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment on his heart, when he goes in to the sanctuary, for a memorial before Jehovah continually.

²⁹ஆரோன் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும்போது, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் நாமங்களைத் தன் இருதயத்தின்மேலிருக்கும் நியாயவிதி மார்ப்பதக்கத்திலே கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதானத்தில் ஞாபகக்குறியாக எப்பொழுதும் தரித்துக்கொள்ளக்கடவன்.

³⁰And thou shalt put into the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim, that they may be upon Aaron's heart when he goeth in before Jehovah; and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before Jehovah continually.

³⁰நியாயவிதி மார்ப்பதக்கத்திலே ஊரீம் தும்மீம் என்பவைகளை வைப்பாயாக; ஆரோன் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதானத்தில் பிரவேசிக்கும்போது, அவைகள் அவன் இருதயத்தின்மேல் இருக்கவேண்டும்; ஆரோன் தன் இருதயத்தின்மேல் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய நியாயவிதியைக் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதானத்தில் எப்பொழுதும் தரித்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்.

³¹And thou shalt make the cloak of the ephod all of blue.

³¹ஏபோத்தின் கீழ் அங்கியை முழுவதும் இளநீலநூலால் உண்டாக்கக்கடவாய்.

³²And its opening for the head shall be in the midst thereof; there shall be a binding of woven work at its opening round about; as the opening of a coat of mail, it shall be in it -- it shall not rend.

³²தலை நுழைகிற அதின் துவாரம் அதின் நடுவில் இருக்கவும், அதின் துவாரத்துக்கு நெய்யப்பட்ட வேலையான ஒரு நாடா சுற்றிலும் இருக்கவும் வேண்டும்; அது கிழியாதபடிக்கு மார்க்கவசத்தின் துவாரத்துக்கு ஒத்ததாக இருக்கவேண்டும்.

³³And on the skirts thereof thou shalt make pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, round about the skirts thereof; and bells of gold between them round about:

³⁴a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, in the skirts of the cloak round about.

³⁴அங்கியின் ஓரங்களில் சுற்றிலும் ஒரு பொன்மணியும் ஒரு மாதளம்பழமும், ஒரு பொன்மணியும் ஒரு மாதளம்பழமுமாய்த் தொங்குவதாக.

³⁵And it shall be on Aaron for service; that his sound may be heard when he goeth into the sanctuary before Jehovah, and when he cometh out, that he may not die.

³⁵ஆரோன் ஆராதனை செய்யக் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்துக்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும்போதும், வெளியே வரும்போதும், அவன் சாகாதபடிக்கு, அதின் சத்தம் கேட்கப்படும்படி அதைத் தரித்துக்கொள்ளவேண்டும்.

³⁶And thou shalt make a thin plate of pure gold, and engrave on it, as the engravings of a seal, Holiness to Jehovah!

³⁶பசும்பொன்னினால் ஒரு பட்டத்தைப்பண்ணி, கர்த்தருக்குப் பரிசுத்தம் என்று அதிலே முத்திரை வெட்டாக வெட்டி,

³⁷And thou shalt put it on a lace of blue, and it shall be upon the turban -- upon the front of the turban shall it be.

³⁷அது பாகையிலிருக்கும்படி அதை இளநீல நாடாவினால் பாகையின் முகப்பிலே கட்டுவாயாக.

³⁸And it shall be upon Aaron's forehead, and Aaron shall bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all gifts of their holy things; and it shall be continually on his forehead, that they may be accepted before Jehovah.

³⁸இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் தங்கள் பரிசுத்த காணிக்கைகளாகப் படைக்கும் பரிசுத்தமானவைகளின் தோஷத்தை ஆரோன் சுமக்கும்படி, அது ஆரோனுடைய நெற்றியின்மேல் இருப்பதாக; கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் அவர்கள் அங்கிகரிக்கப்படும்படி, அது எப்பொழுதும் அவன் நெற்றியின்மேல் இருக்கவேண்டும்.

³⁹And thou shalt weave the vest of byssus; and thou shalt make a turban of byssus; and thou shalt make a girdle of embroidery.

³⁹மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலால் விசித்திரமான உள்சட்டையும், மெல்லிய பஞ்சுநூலால் பாகையையும் உண்டாக்கி, இடைக்கச்சையைச் சித்திரத்தையல் வேலையாகப்பண்ணுவாயாக.

⁴⁰And for Aaron's sons thou shalt make vests; and thou shalt make for them girdles; and high caps shalt thou make for them, for glory and for ornament.

⁴⁰ஆரோனுடைய குமாரருக்கும், மகிமையும் அலங்காரமுமாயிருக்கும் பொருட்டு, அங்கிகளையும், இடைக்கச்சைகளையும், குல்லாக்களையும் உண்டுபண்ணுவாயாக.

⁴¹And thou shalt clothe with them Aaron thy brother, and his sons with him; and shalt anoint them, and consecrate them, and hallow them, that they may serve me as priests.

⁴¹உன் சகோதரனாகிய ஆரோனும் அவனோடேகூட அவன் குமாரரும் எனக்கு ஆசாரிய ஊழியம் செய்யும்படிக்கு, நீ அந்த வஸ்திரங்களை அவர்களுக்கு உடுத்தி, அவர்களை அபிஷேகஞ்செய்து, அவர்களைப் பிரதிஷ்டைபண்ணி, அவர்களைப் பரிசுத்தப்படுத்துவாயாக.

⁴²And thou shalt make them linen trousers to cover the flesh of nakedness; from the loins even to the hips shall they reach.

⁴²அவர்களுடைய நிர்வாணத்தை மூடும்படிக்கு, இடுப்புத்தொடங்கி முழங்கால்மட்டும் உடுத்த சணல்நூல் சல்லடங்களையும் உண்டுபண்ணுவாயாக.

⁴³And they shall be upon Aaron and his sons when they enter into the tent of meeting, or when they come near to the altar to serve in the sanctuary; that they may not bear iniquity and die -- an everlasting statute for him and his seed after him.

⁴³ஆரோனும் அவன் குமாரரும் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்திலே ஆராதனைசெய்ய ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிக்கும்போதும் பலிபீடத்தண்டைக்குச் சேரும்போதும், அக்கிரமம் சுமந்து அவர்கள் சாகாதபடிக்கு, அவைகளைத் தரித்திருக்கவேண்டும்; இது அவனுக்கும் அவனுக்குப் பின்வரும் சந்ததிக்கும் நித்திய கட்டளை.
