¹And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

¹பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

²Speak unto Aaron, and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they profane not my holy name in the things that they hallow unto me: I am Jehovah.

²இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் எனக்கென்று நியமித்துச் செலுத்துகிற பரிசுத்த வஸ்துக்களைக்குறித்து ஆரோனும் அவன் குமாரரும் என் பரிசுத்த நாமத்தைப் பரிசுத்தக் குலைச்சலாக்காதபடிக்கு எச்சரிக்கையாய் இருக்கவேண்டும் என்று அவர்களோடே சொல்; நான் கர்த்தர்.

³Say unto them, Every one of all your seed, throughout your generations, that approacheth the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto Jehovah, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from before me: I am Jehovah.

³அன்றியும் நீ அவர்களை நோக்கி: உங்கள் தலைமுறைகளிலுள்ள சந்ததியாரில் எவனாகிலும் தான் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருக்கும்போது, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் கர்த்தருக்கு நியமித்துச் செலுத்துகிற பரிசுத்தமானவைகளண்டையில் சேர்ந்தால், அந்த ஆத்துமா என் சந்நிதியில் இராதபடிக்கு அறுப்புண்டுபோவான் என்று சொல்; நான் கர்த்தர்.

⁴Whatsoever man of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath a flux, he shall not eat of the holy things, until he is clean. And he that toucheth any one that is unclean by a dead person, or a man whose seed of copulation hath passed from him;

⁴ஆரோனின் சந்ததியாரில் எவன் குஷ்டரோகியோ, எவன் பிரமியமுள்ளவனோ, அவன் சுத்தமாகும்மட்டும் பரிசுத்தமானவைகளில் புசிக்கலாகாது; பிணத்தினாலே தீட்டானவைகளில் எதையாகிலும் தொட்டவனும், இந்திரியங்கழிந்தவனும்,

⁵or a man that toucheth any crawling thing whereby he becometh unclean, or a man by whom he may become unclean, whatever may be his uncleanness,

⁵தீட்டுப்படுத்துகிற யாதொரு ஊரும் பிராணியையாகிலும் தீட்டுள்ள மனிதனையாகிலும் தொட்டவனும்,

⁶-- a person that toucheth any such shall be unclean until even, and shall not eat of the holy things; but he shall bathe his flesh with water,

⁶சாயங்காலம்மட்டும் தீட்டுப்பட்டிருப்பான்; அவன் ஜலத்தில் ஸ்நானம்பண்ணும்வரைக்கும் பரிசுத்தமானவைகளில் புசிக்கலாகாது.

⁷and when the sun goeth down, he shall be clean, and may afterwards eat of the holy things; for it is his food.

⁷சூரியன் அஸ்தமித்தபின்பு சுத்தமாயிருப்பான்; அதன்பின்பு அவன் பரிசுத்தமானவைகளில் புசிக்கலாம்; அது அவனுடைய ஆகாரம்.

⁸Of a dead carcase and what is torn shall he not eat, to make himself unclean therewith: I am Jehovah.

⁸தானாய்ச் செத்ததையும் பீறுண்டதையும் அவன் புசிக்கிறதினாலே தன்னைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்தலாகாது; நான் கர்த்தர்.

⁹And they shall keep my charge, lest they bear sin for it, and die by it, if they profane it: I am Jehovah who do hallow them.

⁹ஆகையால் பரிசுத்தமானதை அவர்கள் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்குகிறதினாலே, பாவம் சுமந்து அதினிமித்தம் சாகாதபடிக்கு, என் கட்டளையைக் காக்கக்கடவர்கள்; நான் அவர்களைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்குகிற கர்த்தர்.

¹⁰And no stranger shall eat the holy thing; the sojourner with the priest, and the hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing.

¹⁰அந்நியன் ஒருவனும் பரிசுத்தமானவைகளில் புசிக்கலாகாது; ஆசாரியன் வீட்டில் தங்கியிருக்கிறவனும் கூலிவேலை செய்கிறவனும் பரிசுத்தமானதில் புசிக்கலாகாது.

¹¹But if a priest buy any one for money, he may eat of it, and he that is born in his house: they may eat of his food.

¹¹ஆசாரியனால் பணத்துக்குக் கொள்ளப்பட்டவனும், அவன் வீட்டிலே பிறந்தவனும் அவனுடைய ஆகாரத்தில் புசிக்கலாம்.

¹²And a priest's daughter who is [married] to a stranger may not eat of the heave-offering of the holy things.

¹²ஆசாரியனுடைய குமாரத்தி அந்நியனுக்கு வாழ்க்கைப்பட்டால், அவள் பரிசுத்தமானவைகளின் படைப்பிலே புசிக்கலாகாது.

¹³But a priest's daughter that becometh a widow, or is divorced, and hath no seed, and returneth unto her father's house, as in her youth, she may eat of her father's food; but no stranger shall eat thereof.

¹³விதவையாய்ப்போன, அல்லது தள்ளப்பட்டவளான ஆசாரியனுடைய குமாரத்தி பிள்ளையில்லாதிருந்து, தன் தகப்பன் வீட்டில் தன்னுடைய இளவயதில் இருந்ததுபோல திரும்பவந்து இருந்தாளேயாகில், அவள் தன் தகப்பன் ஆகாரத்தில் புசிக்கலாம்; அந்நியனாகிய ஒருவனும் அதில் புசிக்கலாகாது.

¹⁴And if a man eat of a holy thing through inadvertence, then he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give it unto the priest with the holy thing.

¹⁴ஒருவன் அறியாமல் பரிசுத்தமானதில் புசித்ததுண்டானால், அவன் அதிலே ஐந்தில் ஒரு பங்கு அதிகமாய்க் கூட்டி பரிசுத்தமானவைகளோடுங்கூட ஆசாரியனுக்குக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன்.

¹⁵And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel which they offer unto Jehovah,

¹⁵அவர்கள் கர்த்தருக்குப் படைக்கிற இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய பரிசுத்தமானவைகளைப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்காமலும்,

¹⁶and cause them to bear the iniquity of trespass when they eat their holy things; for I am Jehovah who do hallow them.

¹⁶அவைகளைப் புசிக்கிறதினால் அவர்கள்மேல் குற்றமான அக்கிரமத்தைச் சுமரப்பண்ணாமலும் இருப்பார்களாக; நான் அவர்களைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்குகிற கர்த்தர் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

¹⁷And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

¹⁷பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

¹⁸Speak unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, Whatever man of the house of Israel, or of the sojourners in Israel, that presenteth his offering for any of his vows, and for any of his voluntary offerings, which they present to Jehovah as a burnt-offering,

¹⁸நீ ஆரோனோடும் அவன் குமாரரோடும் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் அனைவரோடும் சொல்லவேண்டியது என்னவென்றால்: இஸ்ரவேல் குடும்பத்தாரிலும் இஸ்ரவேலில் தங்குகிற அந்நியர்களிலும் தங்களுடைய பொருத்தனைகளின்படியாகிலும் உற்சாகத்தின்படியாகிலும் சர்வாங்க தகனபலிகளாகக் கர்த்தருக்குத் தங்கள் காணிக்கையை எவர்கள் செலுத்தப்போகிறார்களோ,

¹⁹it shall be for your acceptance, without blemish, a male of the oxen, of the sheep, and of the goats.

¹⁹அவர்கள் தங்கள் மனதின்படியே மாடுகளிலாகிலும் ஆடுகளிலாகிலும் வெள்ளாடுகளிலாகிலும் பழுதற்ற ஒரு ஆணைப் பிடித்துவந்து செலுத்துவார்களாக.

²⁰Nothing that hath a defect shall ye present; for it shall not be acceptable for you.

²⁰பழுதுள்ள ஒன்றையும் செலுத்தவேண்டாம்; அது உங்கள்நிமித்தம் அங்கிகரிக்கப்படுவதில்லை.

²¹And if any present a sacrifice of peace-offering to Jehovah to accomplish a vow, or a voluntary offering of oxen or small cattle, it shall be without blemish to be accepted: there shall be no defect therein.

²¹ஒருவன் விசேஷித்த பொருத்தனையாயாவது, உற்சாகமாயாவது, கர்த்தருக்கு மாடுகளிலாகிலும் ஆடுகளிலாகிலும் சமாதானபலிகளைச் செலுத்தப்போனால், அது அங்கிகரிக்கப்படும்படி, ஒரு பழுதுமில்லாமல் உத்தமமாயிருக்கவேண்டும்.

²²Blind, or broken, or maimed, or ulcerous, or with itch, or scabbed -- ye shall not present these to Jehovah, nor make an offering by fire of them on the altar to Jehovah.

²²குருடு, நெரிசல், முடம், கழலை, சொறி, புண் முதலிய பழுதுள்ளவைகளை நீங்கள் கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்தாமலும், அவைகளாலே கர்த்தருக்குப் பலிபீடத்தின்மேல் தகனபலியிடாமலும் இருப்பீர்களாக.

²³A bullock and a sheep that hath a member too long or too short, that mayest thou offer as a voluntary offering; but as a vow it shall not be accepted.

²³நீண்ட அல்லது குறுகின அவயவமுள்ள மாட்டையும் ஆட்டையும் நீ உற்சாகபலியாக இடலாம்; பொருத்தனைக்காக அது அங்கிகரிக்கப்படமாட்டாது.

²⁴That which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut shall ye not present to Jehovah; neither in your land shall ye do [the like].

²⁴விதை நசுங்கினதையும் நொறுங்கினதையும் காயம்பட்டதையும் விதை அறுக்கப்பட்டதையும் நீங்கள் கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்தாமலும், அவைகளை உங்கள் தேசத்தில் பலியிடாமலும் இருப்பீர்களாக.

²⁵Nor from the hand of the stranger shall ye present the bread of your God, of any of these; for their corruption is in them: a defect is in them; they shall not be accepted for you.

²⁵அந்நிய புத்திரன் கையிலும் இப்படிப்பட்டதை வாங்கி, தேவனுக்கு அப்பமாகச் செலுத்தீர்களாக; அவைகளின் கேடும் பழுதும் அவைகளில் இருக்கிறது; அவைகள் உங்களுக்காக அங்கிகரிக்கப்படுவதில்லை என்று சொல் என்றார்.

²⁶And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

²⁶பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:

²⁷An ox, or a sheep, or a goat, when it is brought forth, shall be seven days under its dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering by fire to Jehovah.

²⁷ஒரு கன்றாவது செம்மறியாட்டுக்குட்டியாவது வெள்ளாட்டுக்குட்டியாவது பிறந்தால், அது ஏழுநாள் தன் தாயினிடத்தில் இருக்கக்கடவது; எட்டாம் நாள் முதல் அது கர்த்தருக்குத் தகனபலியாக அங்கிகரிக்கப்படும்.

²⁸A cow, or sheep -- it and its young shall ye not slaughter in one day.

²⁸பசுவையும் அதின் கன்றையும், ஆட்டையும் அதின் குட்டியையும் ஒரே நாளில் கொல்லவேண்டாம்.

²⁹And when ye sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving to Jehovah, ye shall sacrifice it for your acceptance.

²⁹கர்த்தருக்கு ஸ்தோத்திரபலியைச் செலுத்துவீர்களானால் மனப்பூர்வமாய் அதைச் செலுத்துவீர்களாக.

³⁰On that day shall it be eaten: ye shall leave none of it until morning: I am Jehovah.

³⁰அந்நாளிலேதான் அது புசிக்கப்படவேண்டும்; விடியற்காலம்மட்டும் நீங்கள் அதில் ஒன்றும் மீதியாக வைக்கவேண்டாம்; நான் கர்த்தர்.

³¹And ye shall observe my commandments and do them: I am Jehovah.

³¹நீங்கள் என் கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொண்டு, அவைகளின்படி செய்யக்கடவீர்கள்; நான் கர்த்தர்.

³²And ye shall not profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am Jehovah who do hallow you,

³²என் பரிசுத்த நாமத்தைப் பரிசுத்தக்குலைச்சலாக்காதிருப்பீர்களாக; நான் இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் நடுவே பரிசுத்தர் என்று மதிக்கப்படுவேன்; நான் உங்களைப் பரிசுத்தமாக்குகிற கர்த்தர்.

³³who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am Jehovah.

³³நான் உங்களுக்கு தேவனாயிருப்பதற்காக, உங்களை எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படப்பண்ணினேன்; நான் கர்த்தர் என்று சொல் என்றார்.
