1And these are the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that Jehovah spoke with Moses on mount Sinai.

2And these are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
2ஆரோனுடைய குமாரர், முதல் பிறந்தவனாகிய நாதாப், அபியூ, எலெயாசார், இத்தாமார் என்பவர்களே.
3These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the anointed priests, who were consecrated to exercise the priesthood.
3ஆசாரிய ஊழியம் செய்கிறதற்கு அவனால் பிரதிஷ்டை செய்யப்பட்டு அபிஷேகம் பெற்ற ஆசாரியரான ஆரோனுடைய குமாரரின் நாமங்கள் இவைகளே.
4And Nadab and Abihu died before Jehovah when they offered strange fire before Jehovah in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no sons; and Eleazar and Ithamar exercised the priesthood in the presence of Aaron their father.
4நாதாபும் அபியூவும் சீனாய் வனாந்தரத்தில் அந்நிய அக்கினியைக் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் கொண்டுவந்தபோது, கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதியில் மரித்துப்போனார்கள்; அவர்களுக்குப் பிள்ளைகள் இல்லை; எலெயாசாரும் இத்தாமாருமே தங்கள் தகப்பனாகிய ஆரோனுக்கு முன்பாக ஆசாரிய ஊழியம் செய்தார்கள்;
5And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
5கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:
6Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him;
6நீ லேவிகோத்திரத்தாரைச் சேர்த்து, அவர்கள் ஆசாரியனாகிய ஆரோனுக்குப் பணிவிடை செய்யும்படி அவர்களை நிறுத்து.
7and they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole assembly, before the tent of meeting, to do the service of the tabernacle.
7அவர்கள் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்துக்கு முன்பாக அவனுடைய காவலையும் எல்லாச் சபையின் காவலையும் காத்து, வாசஸ்தலத்தின் பணிவிடை வேலைகளைச் செய்யக்கடவர்கள்.
8And they shall keep all the utensils of the tent of meeting, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
8அவர்கள் ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்தின் தட்டுமுட்டு முதலானவைகளையும், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் காவலையும் காத்து, வாசஸ்தலத்தின் பணிவிடைகளைச் செய்யக்கடவர்கள்.
9And thou shalt give the Levites to Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given to him out of the children of Israel.
9ஆகையால் லேவியரை ஆரோனிடத்திலும் அவன் குமாரரிடத்திலும் ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பாயாக; இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரில் இவர்கள் முற்றிலும் அவனுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.
10And Aaron and his sons shalt thou appoint that they may attend to their priest's office; and the stranger that cometh near shall be put to death.
10ஆரோனையும் அவன் குமாரரையுமோ, தங்கள் ஆசாரிய ஊழியத்தைச் செய்வதற்காக நியமிக்கக்கடவாய், அந்த ஊழியத்தைச் செய்யும்படி சேருகிற அந்நியன் கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவன் என்றார்.
11And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
11பின்னும் கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:
12And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of every firstborn that breaketh open the womb among the children of Israel, and the Levites shall be mine;
12இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரில் கர்ப்பந்திறந்து பிறக்கிற முதற்பேறான யாவுக்கும் பதிலாக, நான் லேவியரை இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரிலிருந்து எடுத்துக்கொண்டேன்; அவர்கள் என்னுடையவர்களாயிருக்கிறார்கள்.
13for every firstborn is mine. On the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both of man and beast; mine shall they be: I am Jehovah.
13முதற்பேறானவையெல்லாம் என்னுடையவை; நான் எகிப்துதேசத்தில் முதற்பேறான யாவையும் சங்கரித்த நாளில், இஸ்ரவேலில் மனிதர்முதல் மிருகஜீவன் மட்டுமுள்ள முதற்பேறான யாவையும் எனக்கென்று பரிசுத்தப்படுத்தினதினாலே, அவைகள் என்னுடையவைகளாயிருக்கும்; நான் கர்த்தர் என்றார்.
14And Jehovah spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,
14பின்னும் கர்த்தர் சீனாய் வனாந்தரத்தில் மோசேயை நோக்கி:
15Number the sons of Levi according to their fathers' houses, after their families; every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them.
15லேவிபுத்திரரை அவர்கள் பிதாக்களின் வம்சங்களின்படியே எண்ணுவாயாக; அவர்களில் ஒரு மாதம் முதல் அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதுள்ள ஆண்பிள்ளைகளையெல்லாம் எண்ணுவாயாக என்றார்.
16And Moses numbered them, according to the commandment of Jehovah, -- as he had been commanded.
16அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருடைய வாக்கின்படி, மோசே தனக்குக் கற்பிக்கப்பட்ட பிரகாரம் அவர்களை எண்ணினான்.
17And these are the sons of Levi by their names: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.
17லேவியின் குமாரர் தங்கள் நாமங்களின்படியே, கெர்சோன், கோகாத், மெராரி என்பவர்கள்.
18And these are the names of the sons of Gershon according to their families: Libni and Shimei.
18தங்கள் வம்சத்தின்படியே கெர்சோனுடைய குமாரரின் நாமங்கள், லிப்னீ, சீமேயி என்பவைகள்.
19And the sons of Kohath according to their families: Amram and Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel.
19தங்கள் வம்சங்களின்படியே கோகாத்துடைய குமாரர் அம்ராம், இத்சேயார், எப்ரோன், ஊசியேல் என்பவர்கள்.
20And the sons of Merari according to their families: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their fathers' houses.
20தங்கள் வம்சங்களின்படியே மெராரியினுடைய குமாரர், மகேலி, மூசி என்பவர்கள்; இவர்களே லேவியருடைய பிதாக்களின் வம்சத்தார்.
21Of Gershon, the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimites: these are the families of the Gershonites.
21கெர்சோனின் வழியாய் லிப்னீயரின் வம்சமும் சீமேயியர் வம்சமும் தோன்றின; இவைகளே கெர்சோனியரின் வம்சங்கள்.
22Those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, those that were numbered of them were seven thousand five hundred.
22அவர்களில் ஒரு மாதம் முதல் அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதுள்ள ஆண்பிள்ளைகளெல்லாம் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது, எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் ஏழாயிரத்து ஐந்நூறுபேராயிருந்தார்கள்.
23The families of the Gershonites encamped behind the tabernacle westward.
23கெர்சோனியரின் வம்சங்கள் வாசஸ்தலத்தின் பின்புறத்தில் மேற்கே பாளயமிறங்கவேண்டும்.
24And the prince of the father's house of the Gershonites was Eliasaph the son of Lael.
24கெர்சோனியருடைய தகப்பன் வம்சத்துக்குத் தலைவன் லாயேலின் குமாரனாகிய எலியாசாப் என்பவன்.
25And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tent of meeting was: the tabernacle and the tent, its covering, and the curtain of the entrance to the tent of meeting.
25ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்திலே கெர்சோன் புத்திரரின் காவலாவது: வாசஸ்தலமும், கூடாரமும், அதின் மூடியும், ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரவாசல் மறைவும்,
26And the hangings of the court, and the curtain of the entrance to the court, which surrounds the tabernacle and the altar, and the cords thereof for all its service.
26வாசஸ்தலத்தண்டையிலும் பலிபீடத்தண்டையிலும் சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற பிராகாரத்தின் தொங்குதிரைகளும், பிராகாரவாசல் மூடுதிரையும், அவைகளின் வேலைகளுக்கெல்லாம் உரிய அவைகளின் கயிறுகளுமே.
27And of Kohath, the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.
27கோகாத்தின் வழியாய் அம்ராமியரின் வம்சமும் இத்சேயாரின் வம்சமும் எப்ரோனியரின் வம்சமும் ஊசியேலரின் வம்சமும் தோன்றின; இவைகளே கோகாத்தியரின் வம்சங்கள்.
28According to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, there were eight thousand six hundred, who kept the charge of the sanctuary.
28ஒரு மாதம் முதல் அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதுள்ள ஆண்பிள்ளைகளெல்லாம் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது, பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்துக்குரியவைகளைக் காப்பவர்கள், எண்ணாயிரத்து அறுநூறுபேராயிருந்தார்கள்.
29The families of the sons of Kohath encamped on the side of the tabernacle southward.
29கோகாத் புத்திரரின் வம்சங்கள் வாசஸ்தலத்தின் தென்புறமான பக்கத்திலே பாளயமிறங்கவேண்டும்.
30And the prince of the father's house of the families of the Kohathites was Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.
30அவர்களின் தலைவன், ஊசியேலின் குமாரனாகிய எல்சாபான்.
31And their charge was the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the utensils of the sanctuary with which they ministered, and the curtain, and all that belongs to its service.
31அவர்களுடைய காவலாவது: பெட்டியும், மேஜையும், குத்துவிளக்கும், பீடங்களும், ஆராதனைக்கேற்ற பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தின் பணிமுட்டுகளும், தொங்குதிரையும், அதினுடைய எல்லா வேலைகளுக்கும் ஏற்றவைகளுமே.
32And the prince of princes of the Levites was Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest: he had the oversight of them that kept the charge of the sanctuary.
32ஆசாரியனாகிய ஆரோனின் குமாரன் எலெயாசார் என்பவன் லேவியருடைய தலைவர்களுக்குத் தலைவனாய்ப் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தைக் காவல்காக்கிறவர்களுக்கு விசாரிப்புக்காரனாயிருக்கவேண்டும்.
33Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites: these are the families of Merari.
33மெராரியின் வழியாய் மகேலியரின் வம்சமும் மூசியரின் வம்சமும் தோன்றின; இவைகளே மெராரியின் வம்சங்கள்.
34And those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand two hundred.
34அவர்களில் ஒரு மாதம் முதல் அதற்குமேற்பட்ட வயதுள்ள ஆண்பிள்ளைகளெல்லாம் எண்ணப்பட்டபோது, எண்ணப்பட்டவர்கள் ஆறாயிரத்து இருநூறுபேராயிருந்தார்கள்.
35And the prince of the father's house of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail. They encamped on the side of the tabernacle northward.
35அபியாயேலின் குமாரனாகிய சூரியேல் என்பவன் அவர்களுக்குத் தலைவனாயிருந்தான்; இவர்கள் வாசஸ்தலத்தின் வடபுறமான பக்கத்தில் பாளயமிறங்கவேண்டும்.
36And the charge of the sons of Merari consisted in the oversight of the boards of the tabernacle, and its bars, and its pillars, and its bases, and all its furniture, and all that belongs to its service,
36அவர்களுடைய காவல் விசாரிப்பாவது: வாசஸ்தலத்தின் பலகைகளும், தாழ்ப்பாள்களும், தூண்களும், பாதங்களும், அதினுடைய எல்லாப் பணிமுட்டுகளும், அதற்கடுத்தவைகள் அனைத்தும்,
37and the pillars of the court round about, and their bases, and their pegs, and their cords.
37சுற்றுப்பிராகாரத்தின் தூண்களும், அவைகளின் பாதங்களும், முளைகளும், கயிறுகளுமே.
38And those who encamped before the tabernacle eastward, before the tent of meeting toward the sunrising, were Moses, and Aaron and his sons, who kept the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh near shall be put to death.
38ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரமாகிய வாசஸ்தலத்துக்கு முன்பாக, சூரியன் உதிக்கும் கீழ்ப்புறத்திலே மோசேயும் ஆரோனும் அவன் குமாரரும் கூடாரங்களைப் போட்டு இறங்கி, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் காவலுக்குப் பதிலாகப் பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தைக் காவல் காக்கவேண்டும். வாசஸ்தலத்தில் சேருகிற அந்நியன் கொலைசெய்யப்படக்கடவன்.
39All that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of Jehovah, according to their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty-two thousand.
39மோசேயும், ஆரோனும், கர்த்தருடைய வாக்கின்படி, லேவியரில் ஒரு மாதம் முதல் அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதுள்ள ஆண்பிள்ளைகளையெல்லாம் அவர்களுடைய வம்சங்களின்படியே எண்ணினார்கள்; அவர்கள் இருபத்தீராயிரம்பேராயிருந்தார்கள்.
40And Jehovah said to Moses, Number all the first-born males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.
40அதன் பின்பு கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரில் ஒரு மாதம் முதல் அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதுள்ள முதற்பேறான ஆண்பிள்ளைகளையெல்லாம் எண்ணி அவர்கள் நாமங்களைத் தொகையேற்றி,
41And thou shalt take the Levites for me (I am Jehovah) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites, instead of all the firstlings among the cattle of the children of Israel.
41இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரிலுள்ள முதற்பேறான யாவுக்கும் பதிலாக லேவியரையும், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரின் மிருகஜீவன்களிலுள்ள தலையீற்றான யாவுக்கும் பதிலாக லேவியரின் மிருகஜீவன்களையும் எனக்கென்று பிரித்தெடு; நான் கர்த்தர் என்றார்.
42And Moses numbered, as Jehovah had commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.
42அப்பொழுது மோசே, கர்த்தர் தனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே, இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரிலுள்ள முதற்பேறான யாவரையும் எண்ணினான்.
43And all the firstborn males, by the number of the names, from a month old and upward, according to their numbering, were twenty-two thousand two hundred and seventy-three.
43ஒரு மாதம் முதல் அதற்கு மேற்பட்ட வயதுள்ள முதற்பேறான ஆண்பிள்ளைகளெல்லாரும் பேர்பேராக எண்ணப்பட்டபோது, இருபத்தீராயிரத்து இருநூற்று எழுபத்துமூன்றுபேராயிருந்தார்கள்.
44And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,
44அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி:
45Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am Jehovah.
45நீ இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரரிலுள்ள முதற்பேறான யாவருக்கும் பதிலாக லேவியரையும், அவர்களுடைய மிருகஜீவன்களுக்குப்பதிலாக லேவியரின் மிருகஜீவன்களையும் பிரித்தெடு; லேவியர் என்னுடையவர்களாயிருப்பார்கள்; நான் கர்த்தர்.
46And for those that are to be ransomed, the two hundred and seventy-three of the firstborn of the children of Israel, which are in excess over the Levites,
46இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருடைய முதற்பேறுகளில் லேவியரின் தொகைக்கு அதிகமாயிருந்து, மீட்கப்படவேண்டிய இருநூற்று எழுபத்துமூன்றுபேரிடத்திலும்,
47thou shalt take five shekels apiece by the poll, according to the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them, -- twenty gerahs the shekel;
47நீ தலைக்கு ஐந்து சேக்கல் வீதமாகப் பரிசுத்த சேக்கல் கணக்கின்படி வாங்குவாயாக; அந்தச் சேக்கலானது இருபது கேரா.
48and thou shalt give the money unto Aaron and unto his sons for those in excess among them who are to be ransomed.
48லேவியருடைய தொகைக்கு அதிகமானவர்கள் மீட்கப்படும் திரவியத்தை ஆரோனுக்கும் அவன் குமாரருக்கும் கொடுப்பாயாக என்றார்.
49And Moses took the ransom-money from them that were over and above those who were ransomed by the Levites;

50of the firstborn of the children of Israel he took the money, a thousand three hundred and sixty-five [shekels], according to the shekel of the sanctuary.
50ஆயிரத்து முந்நூற்று அறுபத்தைந்து சேக்கலாகிய திரவியத்தை, பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்துச் சேக்கல் கணக்கின்படி வாங்கி,
51And Moses gave the money of them that were ransomed to Aaron and to his sons, according to the commandment of Jehovah, -- as Jehovah had commanded Moses.
51கர்த்தருடைய வாக்கின்படியே மீட்கப்பட்டவர்களின் கிரயத்தை ஆரோனுக்கும் அவன் குமாரருக்கும், கர்த்தர் தனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே கொடுத்தான்.
