1Hallelujah! Praise Jehovah, O my soul.
1அல்லேலூயா, என் ஆத்துமாவே, கர்த்தரைத் துதி.
2As long as I live will I praise Jehovah; I will sing psalms unto my God while I have my being.
2நான் உயிரோடிருக்குமட்டும் கர்த்தரைத் துதிப்பேன்; நான் உள்ளளவும் என் தேவனைக் கீர்த்தனம் பண்ணுவேன்.
3Put not confidence in nobles, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation.
3பிரபுக்களையும், இரட்சிக்கத்திராணியில்லாத மனுபுத்திரனையும் நம்பாதேயுங்கள்.
4His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his purposes perish.
4அவனுடைய ஆவி பிரியும், அவன் தன் மண்ணுக்குத் திரும்புவான்; அந்நாளிலே அவன் யோசனைகள் அழிந்துபோகும்.
5Blessed is he who hath the ùGod of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Jehovah his God,
5யாக்கோபின் தேவனைத் தன் துணையாகக் கொண்டிருந்து, தன் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர்மேல் நம்பிக்கையை வைக்கிறவன் பாக்கியவான்.
6Who made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is therein; who keepeth truth for ever;
6அவர் வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் சமுத்திரத்தையும் அவைகளிலுள்ள யாவையும் உண்டாக்கினவர்; அவர் என்றென்றைக்கும் உண்மையைக் காக்கிறவர்.
7Who executeth judgment for the oppressed, who giveth bread to the hungry. Jehovah looseth the prisoners;
7அவர் ஒடுக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு நியாயஞ்செய்கிறார்; பசியாயிருக்கிறவர்களுக்கு ஆகாரங்கொடுக்கிறார்; கட்டுண்டவர்களைக் கர்த்தர் விடுதலையாக்குகிறார்.
8Jehovah openeth [the eyes of] the blind; Jehovah raiseth up them that are bowed down; Jehovah loveth the righteous;
8குருடரின் கண்களைக் கர்த்தர் திறக்கிறார்; மடங்கடிக்கப்பட்டவர்களைக் கர்த்தர் தூக்கிவிடுகிறார். நீதிமான்களைக் கர்த்தர் சிநேகிக்கிறார்.
9Jehovah preserveth the strangers; he lifteth up the fatherless and the widow; but the way of the wicked doth he subvert.
9பரதேசிகளைக் கர்த்தர் காப்பாற்றுகிறார்; அவர் திக்கற்ற பிள்ளையையும் விதவையையும் ஆதரிக்கிறார்; துன்மார்க்கரின் வழியையோ கவிழ்த்துப் போடுகிறார்.
10Jehovah will reign for ever, [even] thy God, O Zion, from generation to generation. Halleluiah!
10கர்த்தர் சதாகாலங்களிலும் அரசாளுகிறார்; சீயோனே, உன் தேவன் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாகவும் ராஜரிகம்பண்ணுகிறார். அல்லேலூயா.
