1Now late on sabbath, as it was the dusk of the next day after sabbath, came Mary of Magdala and the other Mary to look at the sepulchre.

2And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of [the] Lord, descending out of heaven, came and rolled away the stone and sat upon it.
2ดูเถิด ได้เกิดแผ่นดินไหวใหญ่ยิ่งนัก มีทูตสวรรค์ขององค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าได้ลงมาจากสวรรค์ กลิ้งก้อนหินนั้นออกจากปากอุโมงค์ แล้วก็นั่งอยู่บนหินนั้น
3And his look was as lightning, and his clothing white as snow.
3ใบหน้าของทูตนั้นเหมือนแสงฟ้าแลบ เสื้อของทูตนั้นก็ขาวเหมือนหิมะ
4And for fear of him the guards trembled and became as dead men.
4ยามที่เฝ้าอยู่นั้นกลัวทูตองค์นั้นจนตัวสั่น และเป็นเหมือนคนตาย
5And the angel answering said to the women, Fear not *ye*, for I know that ye seek Jesus the crucified one.
5ทูตสวรรค์นั้นจึงกล่าวแก่หญิงนั้นว่า "อย่ากลัวเลย เรารู้อยู่ว่าท่านทั้งหลายมาหาพระเยซูซึ่งถูกตรึงไว้ที่กางเขน
6He is not here, for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
6พระองค์หาได้ประทับอยู่ที่นี่ไม่ เพราะพระองค์ทรงเป็นขึ้นมาแล้วตามซึ่งพระองค์ได้ตรัสไว้นั้น มาดูที่ซึ่งองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าได้บรรทมอยู่นั้น
7And go quickly and say to his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and behold, he goes before you into Galilee, there shall ye see him. Behold, I have told you.
7แล้วจงรีบไปบอกพวกสาวกของพระองค์เถิดว่า พระองค์ทรงเป็นขึ้นมาจากความตายแล้ว และดูเถิด พระองค์เสด็จไปยังแคว้นกาลิลีก่อนท่านทั้งหลาย ท่านทั้งหลายจะเห็นพระองค์ที่นั่น ดูเถิด เราก็บอกท่านแล้ว"
8And going out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, they ran to bring his disciples word.
8หญิงเหล่านั้นก็ไปจากอุโมงค์โดยเร็ว ทั้งกลัวทั้งยินดีเป็นอันมาก วิ่งไปบอกพวกสาวกของพระองค์
9And as they went to bring his disciples word, behold also, Jesus met them, saying, Hail! And they coming up took him by the feet, and did him homage.
9ขณะที่หญิงเหล่านั้นไปบอกสาวกของพระองค์ ดูเถิด พระเยซูได้เสด็จพบเขาและตรัสว่า "จงจำเริญเถิด" หญิงเหล่านั้นก็มากอดพระบาทของพระองค์ และนมัสการพระองค์
10Then Jesus says to them, Fear not; go, bring word to my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there they shall see me.
10พระเยซูจึงตรัสกับเขาว่า "อย่ากลัวเลย จงไปบอกพวกพี่น้องของเราให้ไปยังแคว้นกาลิลี และพวกเขาจะได้พบเราที่นั่น"
11And as they went, behold, some of the watch went into the city, and brought word to the chief priests of all that had taken place.
11เมื่อหญิงเหล่านั้นกำลังไป ดูเถิด มียามบางคนในพวกที่เฝ้าอุโมงค์นั้นเข้ามาในเมือง เล่าเหตุการณ์ทั้งปวงซึ่งบังเกิดขึ้นนั้นให้พวกปุโรหิตใหญ่ฟัง
12And having assembled with the elders, and having taken counsel, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers,
12เมื่อพวกปุโรหิตใหญ่ประชุมปรึกษากันกับพวกผู้ใหญ่แล้ว ก็แจกเงินเป็นอันมากให้แก่พวกทหาร
13saying, Say that his disciples coming by night stole him [while] we [were] sleeping.
13สั่งว่า "พวกเจ้าจงพูดว่า `พวกสาวกของเขามาลักเอาศพไปในเวลากลางคืนเมื่อเรานอนหลับอยู่'
14And if this should come to the hearing of the governor, *we* will persuade him, and save *you* from all anxiety.
14ถ้าความนี้ทราบถึงหูเจ้าเมือง เราจะพูดแก้ไขให้พวกเจ้าพ้นโทษ"
15And they took the money and did as they had been taught. And this report is current among the Jews until this day.
15ครั้นพวกทหารได้รับเงินนั้น จึงทำตามคำแนะนำ และความนี้ก็เลื่องลือไปในบรรดาพวกยิวจนทุกวันนี้
16But the eleven disciples went into Galilee to the mountain which Jesus had appointed them.
16แล้วสาวกสิบเอ็ดคนนั้นก็ได้ไปยังแคว้นกาลิลี ถึงภูเขาที่พระเยซูได้ทรงกำหนดไว้
17And when they saw him, they did homage to him: but some doubted.
17และเมื่อเขาเห็นพระองค์จึงกราบลงนมัสการพระองค์ แต่บางคนยังสงสัยอยู่
18And Jesus coming up spoke to them, saying, All power has been given me in heaven and upon earth.
18พระเยซูจึงเสด็จเข้ามาใกล้ แล้วตรัสกับเขาว่า "ฤทธานุภาพทั้งสิ้นในสวรรค์ก็ดี ในแผ่นดินโลกก็ดี ทรงมอบไว้แก่เราแล้ว
19Go [therefore] and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them to the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit;
19เหตุฉะนั้น ท่านทั้งหลายจงออกไปสั่งสอนชนทุกชาติ ให้รับบัพติศมาในพระนามแห่งพระบิดา พระบุตร และพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์
20teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have enjoined you. And behold, *I* am with you all the days, until the completion of the age.
20สอนเขาให้ถือรักษาสิ่งสารพัดซึ่งเราได้สั่งพวกท่านไว้ ดูเถิด เราจะอยู่กับท่านทั้งหลายเสมอไป จนกว่าจะสิ้นโลก เอเมน"
