1And Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandment which I command you this day.
1Musa ile İsrail ileri gelenleri halka şöyle dediler: ‹‹Bugün size ilettiğim bütün buyruklara uyun.
2And it shall be on the day when ye pass over the Jordan unto the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaster them with plaster:
2Şeria Irmağından Tanrınız RABbin size vereceği ülkeye geçince, büyük taşlar dikip kireçleyeceksiniz.
3and thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou goest over that thou mayest enter into the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, as Jehovah the God of thy fathers hath promised thee.
3Atalarınızın Tanrısı RABbin size verdiği söz uyarınca Onun size vereceği ülkeye, süt ve bal akan ülkeye girince, bu yasanın bütün sözlerini taşlara yazacaksınız.
4And it shall be when ye go over the Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, as I command you this day, on mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaster them with plaster.
4Şeria Irmağından geçince, bugün size buyurduğum gibi, bu taşları Eval Dağına dikip kireçleyeceksiniz.
5And there shalt thou build an altar to Jehovah thy God, an altar of stones; thou shalt not lift up an iron [tool] upon them;
5Orada Tanrınız RABbe taşlardan bir sunak yapacaksınız. Bu taşlara demir alet uygulamayacaksınız.
6of whole stones shalt thou build the altar of Jehovah thy God; and thou shalt offer up burnt-offerings thereon to Jehovah thy God.
6Tanrınız RABbin sunağını yontulmamış taşlardan yapacak, üzerinde Tanrınız RABbe yakmalık sunular sunacaksınız.
7And thou shalt sacrifice peace-offerings, and shalt eat there, and rejoice before Jehovah thy God.
7Esenlik sunularını orada kesip yiyecek ve Tanrınız RABbin önünde sevineceksiniz.
8And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.
8Taşlara bu yasanın bütün sözlerini okunaklı bir biçimde yazacaksınız.››
9And Moses and the priests, the Levites, spoke to all Israel, saying, Be silent and hearken, Israel! this day thou art become the people of Jehovah thy God.
9Sonra Musa ile Levili kâhinler bütün İsraillilere, ‹‹Ey İsrail, sus ve kulak ver!›› diye seslendiler, ‹‹Bugün Tanrınız RABbin halkı oldunuz.
10And thou shalt hearken unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.
10Tanrınız RABbin sözüne kulak verin, bugün size ilettiğim buyruklarına, kurallarına uyun.››
11And Moses gave commandment to the people the same day, saying,
11O gün Musa halka şöyle dedi:
12These shall stand to bless the people upon mount Gerizim, when ye have gone over the Jordan: Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin.
12‹‹Şeria Irmağından geçince, halkı kutsamak için Gerizim Dağında duracak oymaklar şunlardır: Şimon, Levi, Yahuda, İssakar, Yusuf, Benyamin.
13And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse: Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
13Lanetlemek için Eval Dağında şu oymaklar duracak: Ruben, Gad, Aşer, Zevulun, Dan, Naftali.
14And the Levites shall declare and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice:
14Levililer bütün İsrail halkına yüksek sesle şöyle diyecekler:
15Cursed be the man that maketh a graven or molten image, an abomination to Jehovah, a work of the craftsman's hand, and putteth it up secretly! And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.
15‹‹ ‹RABbin tiksindiği el işi oyma ya da dökme put yapana ve onu gizlice dikene lanet olsun!› ‹‹Bütün halk, ‹Amin!› diye karşılık verecek.
16Cursed be he that slighteth his father or his mother! And all the people shall say, Amen.
16‹‹ ‹Annesine, babasına saygısızca davranana lanet olsun!› ‹‹Bütün halk, ‹Amin!› diyecek.
17Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour's landmark! And all the people shall say, Amen.
17‹‹ ‹Komşusunun sınırını değiştirene lanet olsun!› ‹‹Bütün halk, ‹Amin!› diyecek.
18Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way! And all the people shall say, Amen.
18‹‹ ‹Kör olanı yoldan saptırana lanet olsun!› ‹‹Bütün halk, ‹Amin!› diyecek.
19Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow! And all the people shall say, Amen.
19‹‹ ‹Yabancıya, öksüze, dul kadına haksızlık edene lanet olsun!› ‹‹Bütün halk, ‹Amin!› diyecek.
20Cursed be he that lieth with his father's wife; for he uncovereth his father's skirt! And all the people shall say, Amen.
20‹‹ ‹Babasının karısıyla yatana lanet olsun! Çünkü o babasının evlilik yatağına leke sürmüştür.› ‹‹Bütün halk, ‹Amin!› diyecek.
21Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast! And all the people shall say, Amen.
21‹‹ ‹Herhangi bir hayvanla cinsel ilişki kurana lanet olsun!› ‹‹Bütün halk, ‹Amin!› diyecek.
22Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother! And all the people shall say, Amen.
22‹‹ ‹Annesinden ya da babasından olan kızkardeşiyle yatana lanet olsun!› ‹‹Bütün halk, ‹Amin!› diyecek.
23Cursed be he that lieth with his mother-in-law! And all the people shall say, Amen.

24Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbour secretly! And all the people shall say, Amen.
24‹‹ ‹Komşusunu gizlice öldürene lanet olsun!› ‹‹Bütün halk, ‹Amin!› diyecek.
25Cursed be he that taketh reward to smite mortally [shedding] innocent blood! And all the people shall say, Amen.
25‹‹ ‹Suçsuz birini öldürmek için rüşvet alana lanet olsun!› ‹‹Bütün halk, ‹Amin!› diyecek.
26Cursed be he that confirmeth not the words of this law to do them! And all the people shall say, Amen.
