¹And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

¹RAB Musaya şöyle dedi:

²Make thee two trumpets of silver; of beaten work shalt thou make them; and they shall serve for the calling together of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.

³And when they shall blow with them, the whole assembly shall gather to thee at the entrance of the tent of meeting.

⁴And if they blow with one, then the princes, the heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather unto thee.

⁴Yalnız biri çalınırsa, önderler, İsrailin oymak başları senin yanında toplanacak.

⁵And when ye blow an alarm, the camps that lie eastward shall set forward.

⁵Borazan kısa çalınınca, doğuda konaklayanlar yola çıkacak.

⁶And when ye blow an alarm the second time, the camps that lie southward shall set forward; they shall blow an alarm on their setting forward.

⁶İkinci kez kısa çalınınca da güneyde konaklayanlar yola çıkacak. Borazanın kısa çalınması oymakların yola çıkması için bir işarettir.

⁷And when the congregation is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not blow an alarm:

⁸the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an everlasting statute throughout your generations.

⁹And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before Jehovah your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

⁹Sizi sıkıştıran düşmana karşı ülkenizde savaşa çıktığınızda, borazan çalın. O zaman Tanrınız RAB sizi anımsayacak, sizi düşmanlarınızdan kurtaracak.

¹⁰And in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in your new moons, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt-offerings and over your sacrifices of peace-offering; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God: I am Jehovah your God.

¹¹And it came to pass in the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth of the month, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony.

¹⁵and over the host of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethaneel the son of Zuar;

¹⁷And the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari set forward bearing the tabernacle.

¹⁸And the standard of the camp of Reuben set forward according to their hosts, and over his host was Elizur the son of Shedeur;

¹⁹and over the host of the tribe of the children of Simeon was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai;

²⁰and over the host of the tribe of the children of Gad was Eliasaph the son of Deuel.

²¹And the Kohathites set forward bearing the sanctuary: and [the others] set up the tabernacle whilst they came.

²²And the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set forward according to their hosts, and over his host was Elishama the son of Ammihud;

²³and over the host of the tribe of the children of Manasseh was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur;

²⁴and over the host of the tribe of the children of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni.

²⁵And the standard of the camp of the children of Dan set forward, the rear-guard of all the camps according to their hosts, and over his host was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai;

²⁵En sonunda Dan sancağı ordunun artçı kolu olan bölükleriyle yola çıktı. Dan bölüğüne Ammişadday oğlu Ahiezer komuta ediyordu.

²⁶and over the host of the tribe of the children of Asher was Pagiel the son of Ocran;

²⁶Aşer oymağının bölüğüne Okran oğlu Pagiel,

²⁷and over the host of the tribe of the children of Naphtali was Ahira the son of Enan.

²⁷Naftali oymağının bölüğüne de Enan oğlu Ahira komuta ediyordu.

²⁸These were the settings forward of the children of Israel according to their hosts: so did they set forward.

²⁸Yola koyulduklarında İsrailli bölüklerin yürüyüş düzeni böyleydi.

²⁹And Moses said to Hobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses' father-in-law, We are journeying to the place of which Jehovah said, I will give it unto you: come with us, and we will do thee good; for Jehovah has spoken good concerning Israel.

²⁹Musa, kayınbabası Midyanlı Reuel oğlu Hovava, ‹‹RABbin, ‹Size vereceğim› dediği yere gidiyoruz›› dedi, ‹‹Bizimle gel, sana iyi davranırız. Çünkü RAB İsraile iyilik edeceğine söz verdi.››

³⁰And he said to him, I will not go; but to mine own land, and to my kindred will I go.

³⁰Hovav, ‹‹Gelmem›› diye yanıtladı, ‹‹Ülkeme, akrabalarımın yanına döneceğim.››

³¹And he said, Leave me not, I pray thee, because thou knowest where we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou wilt be to us for eyes.

³¹Musa, ‹‹Lütfen bizi bırakma›› diye üsteledi, ‹‹Çünkü çölde konaklayacağımız yerleri sen biliyorsun. Sen bize göz olabilirsin.

³²And it shall be, if thou come with us, that whatever good Jehovah doeth unto us, so will we do to thee.

³³And they set forward from the mountain of Jehovah [and went] three days' journey; and the ark of the covenant of Jehovah went before them in the three days' journey, to search out a resting-place for them.

³⁴And the cloud of Jehovah was over them by day when they set forward out of the camp.

³⁵And it came to pass when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, Jehovah, and let thine enemies be scattered; And let them that hate thee flee before thy face.

³⁵Sandık yola çıkınca Musa, ‹‹Ya RAB, kalk! Düşmanların dağılsın, Senden nefret edenler önünden kaçsın!›› diyordu.

³⁶And when it rested, he said, Return, Jehovah, unto the myriads of the thousands of Israel.

³⁶Sandık konaklayınca da, ‹‹Ya RAB, binlerce, on binlerce İsrailli'ye dön!›› diyordu.
