¹Rilate spiritajn donacojn, fratoj, mi ne volas, ke vi estu nesciantaj.

¹But concerning spiritual [manifestations], brethren, I do not wish you to be ignorant.

²Vi scias, ke kiam vi estis nacianoj, vi estis forkondukataj al tiuj mutaj idoloj, kiel ajn oni vin kondukis.

²Ye know that when ye were [of the] nations [ye were] led away to dumb idols, in whatever way ye might be led.

³Tial mi sciigas vin, ke neniu parolanta en la Spirito de Dio diras:Jesuo estas anatemita; kaj neniu povas diri:Jesuo estas Sinjoro, krom per la Sankta Spirito.

³I give you therefore to know, that no one, speaking in [the power of the] Spirit of God, says, Curse [on] Jesus; and no one can say, Lord Jesus, unless in [the power of the] Holy Spirit.

⁴Ekzistas diverseco de donacoj, sed la sama Spirito.

⁴But there are distinctions of gifts, but the same Spirit;

⁵Kaj ekzistas diverseco de servoj, kaj la sama Sinjoro.

⁵and there are distinctions of services, and the same Lord;

⁶Kaj ekzistas diverseco de energioj, sed la sama Dio, kiu energias cxion en cxiuj.

⁶and there are distinctions of operations, but the same God who operates all things in all.

⁷Sed al cxiu estas donita la elmontro de la Spirito por utilo.

⁷But to each the manifestation of the Spirit is given for profit.

⁸CXar al unu estas donita per la Spirito la vorto de sagxeco; kaj al alia, la vorto de scio, laux la sama Spirito;

⁸For to one, by the Spirit, is given [the] word of wisdom; and to another [the] word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;

⁹al alia, fido, en la sama Spirito; al alia, donacoj de resanigoj, en la unu Spirito;

⁹and to a different one faith, in [the power of] the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healing in [the power of] the same Spirit;

¹⁰kaj al alia, energioj por mirakloj; kaj al alia, profetpovo; kaj al alia, distingoj de spiritoj; al alia, diversaj lingvoj; kaj al alia, interpreto de lingvoj;

¹⁰and to another operations of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; and to a different one kinds of tongues; and to another interpretation of tongues.

¹¹sed cxion tion energias la unu sama Spirito, dividante al cxiu aparte, kiel al li placxas.

¹¹But all these things operates the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each in particular according as he pleases.

¹²CXar kiel la korpo estas unu, kaj havas multajn membrojn, kaj cxiuj membroj de la korpo, estante multaj, estas unu korpo; tiel same ankaux estas Kristo.

¹²For even as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of the body, being many, are one body, so also [is] the Christ.

¹³CXar en unu Spirito ni cxiuj baptigxis en unu korpon, cxu Judoj aux Grekoj, cxu sklavoj aux liberaj; kaj cxiuj estas trinkigitaj el unu Spirito.

¹³For also in [the power of] one Spirit *we* have all been baptised into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bondmen or free, and have all been given to drink of one Spirit.

¹⁴CXar la korpo estas ne unu membro, sed multaj.

¹⁴For also the body is not one member but many.

¹⁵Se la piedo diros:Pro tio, ke mi ne estas la mano, mi ne apartenas al la korpo-ne sekvas de tio, ke gxi ne apartenas al la korpo.

¹⁵If the foot say, Because I am not a hand I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?

¹⁶Kaj se la orelo diros:Pro tio, ke mi ne estas la okulo, mi ne apartenas al la korpo-ne sekvas de tio, ke gxi ne apartenas al la korpo.

¹⁶And if the ear say, Because I am not an eye I am not of the body, is it on account of this not indeed of the body?

¹⁷Se la tuta korpo estus okulo, kie estus la auxdado? Se la tuta estus auxdado, kie estus la flarado?

¹⁷If the whole body [were] an eye, where the hearing? if all hearing, where the smelling?

¹⁸Sed Dio jam metis la membrojn al la korpo, cxiun, kiel al Li placxis.

¹⁸But now God has set the members, each one of them in the body, according as it has pleased [him].

¹⁹Kaj se cxiuj estus unu membro, kie estus la korpo?

¹⁹But if all were one member, where the body?

²⁰Nun do ekzistas multaj membroj, sed unu korpo.

²⁰But now the members [are] many, and the body one.

²¹Kaj la okulo ne povas diri al la mano:Mi vin ne bezonas; nek same la kapo al la piedoj:Mi vin ne bezonas.

²¹The eye cannot say to the hand, I have not need of thee; or again, the head to the feet, I have not need of you.

²²Sed multe plie la sxajne malfortaj membroj de la korpo estas necesaj;

²²But much rather, the members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary;

²³kaj al tiuj partoj de la korpo, kiujn ni opinias malpli honorindaj, ni donas pli abundan honoron; kaj niaj negraciaj partoj havas pli abundan gracion;

²³and those [parts] of the body which we esteem to be the more void of honour, these we clothe with more abundant honour; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness;

²⁴sed niaj graciaj partoj ne havas bezonon; tamen Dio kunakordigis la korpon, doninte pli abundan honoron al la parto, kiu havas mankon,

²⁴but our comely [parts] have not need. But God has tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to [the part] that lacked;

²⁵por ke ne estu skismo en la korpo; sed ke la membroj prizorgu egale unu la alian.

²⁵that there might be no division in the body, but that the members might have the same concern one for another.

²⁶Kaj se unu membro suferas, cxiuj membroj kune suferas; aux se unu membro honorigxas, cxiuj membroj kungxojas.

²⁶And if one member suffer, all the members suffer with [it]; and if one member be glorified, all the members rejoice with [it].

²⁷Vi do estas la korpo de Kristo, kaj membroj en gxi, cxiu laux sia parto.

²⁷Now *ye* are Christ's body, and members in particular.

²⁸Kaj Dio metis iujn en la eklezio, unue apostolojn, due profetojn, trie instruantojn, poste miraklojn, poste donacojn de kuracado, helpojn, direktojn, diversajn lingvojn.

²⁸And God has set certain in the assembly: first, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then miraculous powers; then gifts of healings; helps; governments; kinds of tongues.

²⁹CXu cxiuj estas apostoloj? cxu cxiuj profetoj? cxu cxiuj instruantoj? cxu cxiuj mirakluloj?

²⁹[Are] all apostles? [are] all prophets? [are] all teachers? [are] all [in possession of] miraculous powers?

³⁰cxu cxiuj havas kuracan povon? cxu cxiuj parolas per lingvoj? cxu cxiuj interpretas?

³⁰have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?

³¹Sed vi deziru forte la pligrandajn donacojn. Kaj ankoraux pli preferindan vojon mi montras al vi.

³¹But desire earnestly the greater gifts, and yet shew I unto you a way of more surpassing excellence.
