¹Tiel oni rigardu nin, kiel servantojn de Kristo kaj administrantojn de la misteroj de Dio.

¹Let a man so account of us as servants of Christ, and stewards of [the] mysteries of God.

²Cetere, cxi tie estas postulate cxe administrantoj, ke oni trovigxu fidela.

²Here, further, it is sought in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

³Sed cxe mi estas tre malgrava afero esti jugxata de vi, aux per homa jugxo:mi ja ne jugxas min mem.

³But for me it is the very smallest matter that I be examined of you or of man's day. Nor do I even examine myself.

⁴CXar mi scias nenion kontraux mi; tamen mi ne estas pro tio pravigita; sed tiu, kiu jugxas min, estas la Sinjoro.

⁴For I am conscious of nothing in myself; but I am not justified by this: but he that examines me is the Lord.

⁵Tial jugxu nenion antaux la tempo, gxis venos la Sinjoro, kiu enlumigos la kasxitajxojn de la mallumo kaj klarigos la intencojn de la koroj; kaj tiam cxiu ricevos de Dio sian propran lauxdon.

⁵So that do not judge anything before [the] time, until the Lord shall come, who shall also both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and shall make manifest the counsels of hearts; and then shall each have [his] praise from God.

⁶Tion do, fratoj, mi alifigure rilatigis al mi kaj Apolos pro vi; por ke vi en ni lernu ne preterpasi la skribitajxojn; por ke neniu el vi blovesxvelu por unu kontraux la alia.

⁶Now these things, brethren, I have transferred, in their application, to myself and Apollos, for your sakes, that ye may learn in us the [lesson of] not [letting your thoughts go] above what is written, that ye may not be puffed up one for [such a] one against another.

⁷CXar kiu vin diferencigas? kaj kion vi havas, kion vi ne ricevis? sed se vi gxin ricevis, kial vi fanfaronas, kvazaux vi gxin ne ricevus?

⁷For who makes thee to differ? and what hast thou which thou hast not received? but if also thou hast received, why boastest thou as not receiving?

⁸Jam vi estas plenigitaj, jam vi ricxigxis, vi regxis sen ni; kaj mi ja volus, ke vi efektive regxu, por ke ni ankaux regxu kun vi.

⁸Already ye are filled; already ye have been enriched; ye have reigned without us; and I would that ye reigned, that *we* also might reign with you.

⁹CXar sxajnas al mi, ke Dio elmetis nin, la apostolojn, la plej lastajn, kiel mortkondamnitajn; cxar ni farigxis spektaklo al la mondo kaj al angxeloj kaj al homoj.

⁹For I think that God has set us the apostles for the last, as appointed to death. For we have become a spectacle to the world, both to angels and men.

¹⁰Ni estas malsagxuloj pro Kristo, sed vi estas sagxaj en Kristo; ni estas malfortaj, sed vi estas fortaj; vi estas gloraj, sed ni estas senhonoraj.

¹⁰*We* [are] fools for Christ's sake, but *ye* prudent in Christ: *we* weak, but *ye* strong: *ye* glorious, but *we* in dishonour.

¹¹Ecx gxis la nuna horo ni malsatas kaj soifas, kaj ni estas nudaj, kaj ni estas batataj kaj senhejmaj;

¹¹To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and are in nakedness, and buffeted, and wander without a home,

¹²kaj ni penadas, laborante per niaj propraj manoj; insultate, ni benas; persekutate, ni eltenas;

¹²and labour, working with our own hands. Railed at, we bless; persecuted, we suffer [it];

¹³kalumniate, ni petegas; ni farigxas kiel la balaajxo de la mondo, la forjxetajxo de cxio, ecx gxis nun.

¹³insulted, we entreat: we are become as [the] offscouring of the world, [the] refuse of all, until now.

¹⁴Ne por hontigi vin mi tion skribas, sed, kiel miajn amatajn filojn, por admoni vin.

¹⁴Not [as] chiding do I write these things to you, but as my beloved children I admonish [you].

¹⁵CXar kvankam vi ecx havus dek mil pedagogojn en Kristo, tamen vi havas ne multajn patrojn; cxar en Kristo Jesuo mi naskigis vin per la evangelio.

¹⁵For if ye should have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet not many fathers; for in Christ Jesus *I* have begotten you through the glad tidings.

¹⁶Mi do petegas vin, estu imitantoj de mi.

¹⁶I entreat you therefore, be my imitators.

¹⁷Pro tio mi sendis al vi Timoteon, kiu estas mia amata kaj fidela filo en la Sinjoro, kaj kiu vin memorigos pri miaj vojoj en Kristo, gxuste kiel mi instruas cxie en cxiu eklezio.

¹⁷For this reason I have sent to you Timotheus, who is my beloved and faithful child in [the] Lord, who shall put you in mind of my ways [as] they [are] in Christ, according as I teach everywhere in every assembly.

¹⁸Kelkaj blovesxvelas, kvazaux mi ne venus al vi.

¹⁸But some have been puffed up, as if I were not coming to you;

¹⁹Sed mi venos al vi baldaux, se la Sinjoro tion volos; kaj mi ekscios, ne la parolon de la blovesxvelintoj, sed la potencon.

¹⁹but I will come quickly to you, if the Lord will; and I will know, not the word of those that are puffed up, but the power.

²⁰CXar la regno de Dio estas ne en parolo, sed en potenco.

²⁰For the kingdom of God [is] not in word, but in power.

²¹Kion vi volas? cxu kun vergo mi venu al vi, aux en amo kaj en spirito de humileco?

²¹What will ye? that I come to you with a rod; or in love, and [in] a spirit of meekness?
