¹Ne havos la pastroj Levidoj, la tuta tribo de Levi, parton kaj heredajxon kun Izrael:la fajroferojn de la Eternulo kaj Lian apartenajxon ili mangxados.

¹The priests, the Levites, [and] the whole tribe of Levi, shall have no portion nor inheritance with Israel: Jehovah's offerings by fire, and his inheritance shall they eat,

²Heredajxon ili ne havos inter siaj fratoj:la Eternulo estas ilia heredajxo, kiel Li diris al ili.

²but they shall have no inheritance among their brethren: Jehovah, he is their inheritance, as he hath said unto them.

³Jen estas tio, kion devas doni al la pastroj la popolo, la oferbucxantoj de bovo aux sxafo:oni donu al la pastro la sxultron kaj la makzelojn kaj la stomakon;

³And this shall be the priest's due from the people, from them that sacrifice a sacrifice, whether ox, or sheep: they shall give unto the priest the shoulder, and the jawbones, and the maw.

⁴la unuaajxon de via greno, de via mosto, kaj de via oleo, kaj la unuaajxon de la tonditajxo de viaj sxafoj donu al li.

⁴The firstfruits [also] of thy corn, of thy new wine, and of thine oil, and the firstfruits of the shearing of thy sheep, shalt thou give him;

⁵CXar lin elektis la Eternulo, via Dio, el cxiuj viaj triboj, ke li staru kaj servu en la nomo de la Eternulo, li kaj liaj filoj en cxiu tempo.

⁵for Jehovah thy God hath chosen him out of all thy tribes, that he may stand to serve in the name of Jehovah, he and his sons continually.

⁶Kaj se venos Levido el iu el viaj urboj, el la tuta Izrael, kie li logxas, kaj li venos pro la tuta deziro de sia animo al la loko, kiun elektos la Eternulo,

⁶And if the Levite shall come from one of thy gates out of all Israel, where he sojourneth, and shall come according to all the desire of his soul unto the place which Jehovah will choose,

⁷kaj li servos en la nomo de la Eternulo, lia Dio, kiel cxiuj liaj fratoj, la Levidoj, kiuj staras tie antaux la Eternulo:

⁷and shall serve in the name of Jehovah his God, as all his brethren the Levites that stand there before Jehovah,

⁸tiam ili mangxu egalajn partojn, krom tio, kion donas al li la vendo de la patra havo.

⁸-- they shall have like portions to eat, besides that which he hath sold of his patrimony.

⁹Kiam vi venos en la landon, kiun la Eternulo, via Dio, donas al vi, tiam ne lernu fari ion similan al la abomenajxoj de tiuj popoloj:

⁹When thou art come into the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do according to the abominations of those nations.

¹⁰ne devas trovigxi inter vi iu, kiu trairigas sian filon aux filinon tra fajro, auxguristo, antauxdiristo, magiisto, sorcxisto,

¹⁰There shall not be found among you he that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, that useth divination, that useth auguries, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer,

¹¹nek subjxurigisto, nek elvokisto de spiritoj, nek signoklarigisto, nek esploristo de mortintoj;

¹¹or a charmer, or one that inquireth of a spirit of Python, or a soothsayer, or one that consulteth the dead.

¹²cxar abomenajxo por la Eternulo estas cxiu, kiu faras tion, kaj pro tiuj abomenajxoj la Eternulo, via Dio, forpelas ilin de antaux vi.

¹²For every one that doeth these things is an abomination to Jehovah, and because of these abominations Jehovah thy God doth dispossess them from before thee.

¹³Senmakula estu antaux la Eternulo, via Dio;

¹³Thou shalt be perfect with Jehovah thy God.

¹⁴cxar tiuj popoloj, kiujn vi forpelas, auxskultas antauxdiristojn kaj auxguristojn; sed al vi ne tion donis la Eternulo, via Dio.

¹⁴For these nations, which thou shalt dispossess, hearkened unto those that use auguries, and that use divination; but as for thee, Jehovah thy God hath not suffered thee [to do] so.

¹⁵Profeton al via mezo, el viaj fratoj, similan al mi, starigos por vi la Eternulo, via Dio; lin auxskultu,

¹⁵Jehovah thy God will raise up unto thee a prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him shall ye hearken;

¹⁶konforme al tio, kion vi petis de la Eternulo, via Dio, cxe HXoreb en la tago de la kunveno, dirante:Mi ne auxdu plu la vocxon de la Eternulo, mia Dio, kaj cxi tiun grandan fajron mi ne vidu plu, por ke mi ne mortu.

¹⁶according to all that thou desiredst of Jehovah thy God at Horeb on the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of Jehovah my God, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not.

¹⁷Kaj la Eternulo diris al mi:Bona estas tio, kion ili diris.

¹⁷And Jehovah said unto me, They have well spoken that which they have spoken.

¹⁸Profeton Mi starigos por ili el la mezo de iliaj fratoj, similan al vi; kaj Mi metos Miajn vortojn en lian busxon, kaj li parolos al ili cxion, kion Mi ordonos al li.

¹⁸A prophet will I raise up unto them from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

¹⁹Kaj se iu homo ne auxskultos Miajn vortojn, kiujn li parolos en Mia nomo, tiun Mi punos.

¹⁹And it shall come to pass that the man who hearkeneth not unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.

²⁰Sed profeton, kiu arogos diri en Mia nomo ion, kion Mi ne ordonis al li diri, aux kiu parolos en la nomo de aliaj dioj, tiun profeton oni mortigu.

²⁰But the prophet who shall presume to speak a word in my name that I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, that prophet shall die.

²¹Kaj se vi diros en via koro:Kiel ni ekkonos la vorton, kiun ne diris la Eternulo?

²¹And if thou say in thy heart, How shall we know the word that Jehovah hath not spoken?

²²Kion la profeto diros en la nomo de la Eternulo kaj la afero ne farigxos kaj ne plenumigxos-tio estas la vortoj, kiujn la Eternulo ne diris; pro aroganteco diris tion la profeto; ne timu lin.

²²When a prophet speaketh in the name of Jehovah, and the thing followeth not, nor cometh to pass, that is the word which Jehovah hath not spoken; the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: be not afraid of him.
