1Kaj Moseo kaj la plejagxuloj de Izrael ordonis al la popolo, dirante:Observu cxiujn ordonojn, kiujn mi ordonas al vi hodiaux.
1And Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandment which I command you this day.
2Kaj kiam vi transiros trans Jordanon en la landon, kiun la Eternulo, via Dio, donas al vi, tiam starigu al vi grandajn sxtonojn kaj cxirkauxsxmiru ilin per kalko;
2And it shall be on the day when ye pass over the Jordan unto the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaster them with plaster:
3kaj skribu sur ili cxiujn vortojn de cxi tiu instruo, kiam vi transiros, por ke vi venu en la landon, kiun la Eternulo, via Dio, donis al vi, la landon, en kiu fluas lakto kaj mielo, kiel parolis al vi la Eternulo, la Dio de viaj patroj.
3and thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou goest over that thou mayest enter into the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, as Jehovah the God of thy fathers hath promised thee.
4Kaj kiam vi transiros Jordanon, tiam starigu cxi tiujn sxtonojn, pri kiuj mi ordonas al vi hodiaux, sur la monto Ebal, kaj cxirkauxsxmiru ilin per kalko.
4And it shall be when ye go over the Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, as I command you this day, on mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaster them with plaster.
5Kaj konstruu tie altaron al la Eternulo, via Dio, altaron el sxtonoj; ne levu sur ilin feron.
5And there shalt thou build an altar to Jehovah thy God, an altar of stones; thou shalt not lift up an iron [tool] upon them;
6El sxtonoj tutaj konstruu la altaron de la Eternulo, via Dio, kaj alportu sur gxi bruloferojn al la Eternulo, via Dio;
6of whole stones shalt thou build the altar of Jehovah thy God; and thou shalt offer up burnt-offerings thereon to Jehovah thy God.
7kaj bucxu pacoferojn, kaj mangxu tie, kaj estu gaja antaux la Eternulo, via Dio.
7And thou shalt sacrifice peace-offerings, and shalt eat there, and rejoice before Jehovah thy God.
8Kaj skribu tre klare sur la sxtonoj cxiujn vortojn de cxi tiu instruo.
8And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.
9Kaj Moseo kaj la pastroj Levidoj ekparolis al la tuta Izrael, dirante:Silentu kaj auxskultu, ho Izrael; en la hodiauxa tago vi farigxis popolo al la Eternulo, via Dio.
9And Moses and the priests, the Levites, spoke to all Israel, saying, Be silent and hearken, Israel! this day thou art become the people of Jehovah thy God.
10Auxskultu do la vocxon de la Eternulo, via Dio, kaj plenumu Liajn ordonojn kaj Liajn legxojn, kiujn mi donas al vi hodiaux.
10And thou shalt hearken unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.
11Kaj Moseo ordonis al la popolo en tiu tago, dirante:
11And Moses gave commandment to the people the same day, saying,
12CXi tiuj starigxu, por beni la popolon, sur la monto Gerizim, kiam vi transiros Jordanon:Simeon kaj Levi kaj Jehuda kaj Isahxar kaj Jozef kaj Benjamen.
12These shall stand to bless the people upon mount Gerizim, when ye have gone over the Jordan: Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin.
13Kaj cxi tiuj starigxu por malbenado sur la monto Ebal:Ruben, Gad kaj Asxer kaj Zebulun, Dan kaj Naftali.
13And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse: Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
14Kaj la Levidoj ekparolos, kaj diros al cxiuj Izraelidoj per lauxta vocxo:
14And the Levites shall declare and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice:
15Malbenita estu la homo, kiu faros idolon skulptitan aux fanditan, abomenajxon antaux la Eternulo, manfaritajxon de artisto, kaj starigos gxin sekrete. Kaj la tuta popolo respondos kaj diros:Amen.
15Cursed be the man that maketh a graven or molten image, an abomination to Jehovah, a work of the craftsman's hand, and putteth it up secretly! And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.
16Malbenita estu, kiu ne respektas sian patron kaj sian patrinon. Kaj la tuta popolo diros:Amen.
16Cursed be he that slighteth his father or his mother! And all the people shall say, Amen.
17Malbenita estu, kiu forsxovas la limon de sia proksimulo. Kaj la tuta popolo diros:Amen.
17Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour's landmark! And all the people shall say, Amen.
18Malbenita estu, kiu erarigas blindulon pri la vojo. Kaj la tuta popolo diros:Amen.
18Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way! And all the people shall say, Amen.
19Malbenita estu, kiu forklinas la rajton de fremdulo, orfo, kaj vidvino. Kaj la tuta popolo diros:Amen.
19Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow! And all the people shall say, Amen.
20Malbenita estu, kiu kusxas kun la edzino de sia patro; cxar li malkovris la baskon de sia patro. Kaj la tuta popolo diros:Amen.
20Cursed be he that lieth with his father's wife; for he uncovereth his father's skirt! And all the people shall say, Amen.

21Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast! And all the people shall say, Amen.
22Malbenita estu, kiu kusxas kun sia fratino, filino de sia patro aux filino de sia patrino. Kaj la tuta popolo diros:Amen.
22Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother! And all the people shall say, Amen.
23Malbenita estu, kiu kusxas kun sia bopatrino. Kaj la tuta popolo diros:Amen.
23Cursed be he that lieth with his mother-in-law! And all the people shall say, Amen.
24Malbenita estu, kiu kasxe mortigas sian proksimulon. Kaj la tuta popolo diros:Amen.
24Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbour secretly! And all the people shall say, Amen.
25Malbenita estu, kiu prenas subacxeton, por mortigi animon, sangon senkulpan. Kaj la tuta popolo diros:Amen.
25Cursed be he that taketh reward to smite mortally [shedding] innocent blood! And all the people shall say, Amen.
26Malbenita estu, kiu ne persistos en la vortoj de cxi tiu instruo, por plenumi ilin. Kaj la tuta popolo diros:Amen.
26Cursed be he that confirmeth not the words of this law to do them! And all the people shall say, Amen.
