¹Kaj aperis al mi vorto de la Eternulo, dirante:

¹And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

²Ho filo de homo, turnu vian vizagxon al Gog, en la lando Magog, cxefa princo de Mesxehx kaj Tubal, kaj profetu pri li;

²Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him,

³kaj diru:Tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo:Jen Mi iras kontraux vin, ho Gog, cxefa princo de Mesxehx kaj Tubal.

³and say, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.

⁴Kaj Mi vagigos vin, Mi metos busxbridajxon en vian busxon, kaj Mi elirigos vin kaj vian tutan militistaron, cxevalojn kaj rajdistojn, cxiujn en belegaj vestoj, grandan anaron, en kirasoj kaj kun sxildoj, kun glavo en la mano;

⁴And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them thoroughly equipped, a great assemblage with targets and shields, all of them handling swords:

⁵Persojn, Etiopojn, kaj Putidojn, cxiujn kun sxildoj kaj kaskoj;

⁵Persia, Cush, and Phut with them, all of them with shield and helmet;

⁶Gomeron kun cxiuj gxiaj tacxmentoj, la domon de Togarma, de la nordaj randoj, kun cxiuj gxiaj tacxmentoj; multaj popoloj estos kun vi.

⁶Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah from the uttermost north, and all his bands; -- many peoples with thee.

⁷Pretigu vin kaj arangxu vin, vi kaj cxiuj homamasoj, kiuj kolektigxis al vi, kaj vi estu ilia gvidanto.

⁷Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself thou, and all thine assemblage that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.

⁸Post longa tempo vi estos elvokita; en la lastaj jaroj vi venos en la landon liberigitan el glavo, al la popolo, kolektita el inter multaj gentoj, sur la montojn de Izrael, kiuj cxiam estis dezertaj, al la popolo, kiu estos elkondukita el inter la gentoj kaj nun tuta logxas ekster dangxero.

⁸After many days shalt thou be visited; at the end of years thou shalt come into the land brought back from the sword [and] gathered out of many peoples, upon the mountains of Israel which have been a perpetual waste: but it is brought forth out from the peoples, and they shall all of them be dwelling in safety.

⁹Kaj vi levigxos, kaj venos kiel ventego; vi estos kiel nubego, kiu volas kovri la teron, vi kaj cxiuj viaj tacxmentoj kaj la multaj popoloj kun vi.

⁹And thou shalt ascend, thou shalt come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many peoples with thee.

¹⁰Tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo:En tiu tempo venos en vian koron diversaj deziroj, kaj vi pripensos malbonajn intencojn.

¹⁰Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: It shall even come to pass in that day that things shall come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought;

¹¹Kaj vi diros:Mi iros kontraux la landon nebaritan, mi iros kontraux la trankvilulojn, kiuj pensas, ke ili logxas ekster dangxero, kiuj logxas cxiuj sen muroj kaj ne havas riglilojn nek pordojn;

¹¹and thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will come to them that are in quiet, that dwell in safety, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

¹²por ke mi faru rabadon kaj kaptu kaptajxon, kaj metu la manon sur la denove logxatajn ruinojn, kaj sur la popolon, kiu estas rekolektita el inter la nacioj, okupas sin per brutedukado kaj komercado, kaj logxas sur la centro de la tero.

¹²to seize a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thy hand against the waste places that are [now] inhabited, and against a people gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the middle of the land.

¹³SXeba kaj Dedan, kaj la komercistoj de Tarsxisx, kaj cxiuj gxiaj potenculoj diros al vi:CXu ne por fari rabadon vi venis? cxu ne por kapti kaptajxon vi kolektis vian homomulton, por forporti argxenton kaj oron, por preni brutojn kaj havajxojn, por fari grandan rabadon?

¹³Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to seize a spoil? hast thou gathered thine assemblage to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take cattle and goods, to seize a great spoil?

¹⁴Tial profetu, ho filo de homo, kaj diru al Gog:Tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo:CXu vi ne scias pri tiu tempo, kiam Mia popolo Izrael devas logxi sendangxere?

¹⁴Therefore prophesy, son of man, and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In that day when my people Israel dwelleth in safety, shalt thou not know [it]?

¹⁵Vi venos de via loko, de la nordaj randoj, vi kaj multaj popoloj kun vi, cxiuj rajdante sur cxevaloj, granda homomulto kaj potenca armeo;

¹⁵And thou shalt come from thy place out of the uttermost north, thou and many peoples with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great assemblage and a mighty army.

¹⁶kaj vi iros kontraux Mian popolon Izrael kiel nubo, por kovri la landon. Tio okazos en la lasta tempo. Mi permesos al vi veni en Mian landon, por ke la nacioj ekkonu Min, kiam Mi montros sur vi Mian sanktecon antaux iliaj okuloj, ho Gog.

¹⁶And thou shalt come up against my people Israel as a cloud to cover the land -- it shall be at the end of days -- and I will bring thee against my land, that the nations may know me, when I shall be hallowed in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

¹⁷Tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo:Vi estas ja tiu, pri kiu Mi parolis en la antikva tempo per Miaj servantoj, la profetoj de Izrael, kiuj en tiu tempo antauxdiris la jarojn, kiam Mi venigos vin sur ilin.

¹⁷Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Art thou not he of whom I have spoken in old time through my servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days, for [many] years, that I would bring thee against them?

¹⁸En tiu tempo, kiam Gog venos sur la teron de Izrael, diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo, levigxos Mia kolero kaj Mia indigno.

¹⁸And it shall come to pass in that day, in the day when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord Jehovah, [that] my fury shall come up in my face;

¹⁹Kaj en Mia fervoro, en la fajro de Mia kolero Mi decidis, ke en tiu tempo estos granda tumulto sur la tero de Izrael;

¹⁹for in my jealousy, in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Verily in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;

²⁰kaj ektremos antaux Mi la fisxoj de la maro, la birdoj de la cxielo, la bestoj de la kampo, cxiuj rampajxoj, kiuj rampas sur la tero, kaj cxiuj homoj, kiuj estas sur la tero; kaj renversigxos la montoj, falos la rokkrutajxoj, kaj cxiuj muroj falos sur la teron.

²⁰so that the fish of the sea, and the fowl of the heavens, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things which creep upon the earth, and all mankind that are upon the face of the earth shall shake at my presence; and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

²¹Kaj Mi vokos kontraux lin glavon sur cxiuj Miaj montoj, diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo; cxiu prenos glavon kontraux sian fraton.

²¹And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord Jehovah: every man's sword shall be against his brother.

²²Kaj Mi faros kontraux li jugxon per pesto kaj sangoversxado; Mi sendos pluvegon, sxtonan hajlon, fajron, kaj sulfuron sur lin kaj sur liajn tacxmentojn, kaj sur la multajn popolojn, kiuj estos kun li.

²²And I will enter into judgment with him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many peoples that are with him, overflowing rain and great hailstones, fire and brimstone.

²³Kaj Mi montros Mian grandecon kaj sanktecon, kaj Mi konatigos Min antaux la okuloj de multaj popoloj; kaj ili ekscios, ke Mi estas la Eternulo.

²³And I will magnify myself, and sanctify myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I [am] Jehovah.
