¹Por libereco Kristo nin liberigis; tial staru fortike, kaj ne reimplikigxu en jugon de sklaveco.

¹Christ has set us free in freedom; stand fast therefore, and be not held again in a yoke of bondage.

²Jen mi, Pauxlo, diras al vi, ke, se vi cirkumcidigxos, Kristo al vi tute ne utilos.

²Behold, I, Paul, say to you, that if ye are circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

³Mi denove atestas al cxiu homo cirkumcidata, ke li estas sxuldanto, por plenumi la tutan legxon.

³And I witness again to every man [who is] circumcised, that he is debtor to do the whole law.

⁴Vi, kiuj volas vin pravigi per la legxo, apartigxis for de Kristo; vi forfalis de graco.

⁴Ye are deprived of all profit from the Christ as separated [from him], as many as are justified by law; ye have fallen from grace.

⁵CXar ni en la Spirito atendas la esperon de justeco per la fido.

⁵For we, by [the] Spirit, on the principle of faith, await the hope of righteousness.

⁶CXar en Kristo Jesuo nek cirkumcido nek necirkumcido valoras ion, sed nur fido, energianta per amo.

⁶For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision has any force, nor uncircumcision; but faith working through love.

⁷Vi bone kuradis; kiu vin malhelpis, ke vi ne obeu la veron?

⁷Ye ran well; who has stopped you that ye should not obey the truth?

⁸CXi tiu influo ne venas de tiu, kiu vin vokas.

⁸The persuasibleness [is] not of him that calls you.

⁹Malmulto da fermentajxo fermentigas la tutan mason.

⁹A little leaven leavens the whole lump.

¹⁰Mi fidas pri vi en la Sinjoro, ke vi ne alie sentados; sed tiu, kiu malkvietigas vin, elportos sian propran jugxon, kiu ajn li estas.

¹⁰*I* have confidence as to you in [the] Lord, that ye will have no other mind; and he that is troubling you shall bear the guilt [of it], whosoever he may be.

¹¹Sed mi, fratoj, se mi ankoraux predikas cirkumcidon, kial mi estas ankoraux persekutata? tiuokaze la falpusxilo de la kruco estas formovita.

¹¹But *I*, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why am I yet persecuted? Then the scandal of the cross has been done away.

¹²Mi volus, ke tiuj, kiuj vin maltrankviligas, sin fortrancxu.

¹²I would that they would even cut themselves off who throw you into confusion.

¹³CXar vi, fratoj, estas vokitaj al libereco; tamen ne uzu vian liberecon kiel pretekston por la karno, sed per amo servu unu la alian.

¹³For *ye* have been called to liberty, brethren; only [do] not [turn] liberty into an opportunity to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

¹⁴CXar la tuta legxo estas plenumata en unu diro, jene:Amu vian proksimulon kiel vin mem.

¹⁴For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself;

¹⁵Sed se vi mordas kaj mangxegas unu la alian, gardu vin, ke vi ne estu detruitaj unu de la alia.

¹⁵but if ye bite and devour one another, see that ye are not consumed one of another.

¹⁶Sed mi diras:Iradu laux la Spirito, kaj la deziregon de la karno vi ne plenumos.

¹⁶But I say, Walk in [the] Spirit, and ye shall no way fulfil flesh's lust.

¹⁷CXar la karno deziregas kontraux la Spirito, kaj la Spirito kontraux la karno; cxar cxi cxiuj interbatalas reciproke, por ke vi ne faru tion, kion vi volas.

¹⁷For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these things are opposed one to the other, that ye should not do those things which ye desire;

¹⁸Sed se vi estas kondukataj de la Sinjoro, vi jam ne estas sub la legxo.

¹⁸but if ye are led by the Spirit, ye are not under law.

¹⁹Evidentaj estas la faroj de la karno, kiuj estas malcxasteco, malpureco, voluptemo,

¹⁹Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are fornication, uncleanness, licentiousness,

²⁰idolkulto, sorcxado, malamikeco, malpaco, jxaluzoj, koleregoj, partiemeco, skismoj, herezoj,

²⁰idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strifes, jealousies, angers, contentions, disputes, schools of opinion,

²¹envioj, ebrieco, dibocxado, kaj aliaj similaj; pri kiuj mi avertas vin, kiel mi jam antauxe admonis vin, ke tiuj, kiuj tion faradas, ne heredos la regnon de Dio.

²¹envyings, murders, drunkennesses, revels, and things like these; as to which I tell you beforehand, even as I also have said before, that they who do such things shall not inherit God's kingdom.

²²Sed la frukto de la Spirito estas amo, gxojo, paco, pacienco, komplezo, bonkoreco, fideleco,

²²But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, fidelity,

²³mildeco, sinregado; kontraux tiaj ne ekzistas legxo.

²³meekness, self-control: against such things there is no law.

²⁴Kaj tiuj, kiuj apartenas al Kristo Jesuo, jam krucumis la karnon kun gxiaj pasioj kaj voluptoj.

²⁴But they that [are] of the Christ have crucified the flesh with the passions and the lusts.

²⁵Se ni vivas per la Spirito, en la Spirito ni ankaux iradu.

²⁵If we live by the Spirit, let us walk also by the Spirit.

²⁶Ni ne farigxu fanfaronemaj, incitante kaj enviante unu la alian.

²⁶Let us not become vain-glorious, provoking one another, envying one another.
