1The wilderness and the dry land shall be gladdened; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.
2GXi forte ekfloros kaj triumfos, triumfos kaj kantos; la gloro de Lebanon estos donita al gxi, la beleco de Karmel kaj SXaron; ili vidos la gloron de la Eternulo, la majeston de nia Dio.
2It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice even with joy and shouting: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of Jehovah, the excellency of our God.
3Fortigu la senfortigxintajn manojn, kaj fortikigu la sxanceligxantajn genuojn.
3Strengthen the weak hands and confirm the tottering knees.
4Diru al tiuj, kiuj estas senkuragxigitaj en la koro:Tenu vin forte, ne timu; jen estas via Dio! venos vengxo, repago de Dio; Li mem venos kaj helpos vin.
4Say to them that are of a timid heart, Be strong, fear not; behold your God: vengeance cometh, the recompense of God! He will come himself, and save you.
5Tiam malkovrigxos la okuloj de la blinduloj, kaj la oreloj de la surduloj malfermigxos.
5Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf be unstopped;
6Tiam la lamulo eksaltos kiel cervo, kaj la lango de la mutulo ekkantos; cxar en la dezerto elfendigxos akvo kaj en la stepo riveroj.
6then shall the lame [man] leap as a hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and torrents in the desert.
7Kaj la fantoma lago farigxos reala, kaj la tero senakva farigxos fonto de akvo; la logxloko de sxakaloj farigxos loko por kano kaj junko.
7And the mirage shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of wild dogs, where they lay down, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
8Kaj estos tie irejo kaj vojo, kaj gxi estos nomata Vojo Sankta; malpurulo ne iros sur gxi, cxar nur al ili gxi apartenas; irante sur tiu vojo, ecx malsagxuloj ne eraros.
8And a highway shall be there and a way, and it shall be called, The way of holiness: the unclean shall not pass through it; but it shall be for these. Those that go [this] way -- even fools, -- shall not err [therein].
9Ne estos tie leono, kaj rabobesto ne aperos sur gxi, ne trovigxos tie; iros nur savitoj.
9No lion shall be there, nor shall ravenous beast go up thereon, nor be found there; but the redeemed shall walk [there].
10Kaj la elacxetitoj de la Eternulo revenos kaj iros sur Cionon kun kantado, kaj gxojo eterna estos super ilia kapo; gxojon kaj gajecon ili atingos, kaj forflugos afliktoj kaj gxemado.
10And the ransomed of Jehovah shall return, and come to Zion with singing; and everlasting joy shall be upon their heads: they shall obtain gladness and joy, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
