¹Felicxa estas la homo, kiu ne iras laux konsilo de malpiuloj, Nek staras sur vojo de pekuloj, Nek sidas en kunsido de blasfemantoj;

¹Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, and standeth not in the way of sinners, and sitteth not in the seat of scorners;

²Sed li nur havas deziron por la legxo de la Eternulo, Kaj pri Lia legxo li pensas tage kaj nokte.

²But his delight is in Jehovah's law, and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

³Kaj li estos kiel arbo, plantita apud akvaj torentoj, Donanta sian frukton en sia tempo, Kaj kies folio ne velkas; Kaj en cxio, kion li faras, li sukcesos.

³And he [is] as a tree planted by brooks of water, which giveth its fruit in its season, and whose leaf fadeth not; and all that he doeth prospereth.

⁴Ne tiel estas la malpiuloj; Sed ili estas kiel grenventumajxo, kiun disblovas la vento.

⁴The wicked are not so; but are as the chaff which the wind driveth away.

⁵Tial ne staros fortike la malpiuloj cxe la jugxo, Nek la pekuloj en societo de piuloj.

⁵Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

⁶CXar la Eternulo konas la vojon de piuloj; Sed la vojo de malpiuloj pereos.

⁶For Jehovah knoweth the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked shall perish.
