¹{To the chief Musician. On Mahalath: an instruction. Of David.} The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God! They have corrupted themselves, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.

²Dio el la cxielo ekrigardis la homidojn, Por vidi, cxu ekzistas prudentulo, kiu sercxas Dion.

²God looked down from the heavens upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.

³CXiu devojigxis, cxiuj malvirtigxis; Ekzistas neniu, faranta bonon, ne ekzistas ecx unu.

³Every one of them is gone back, they are together become corrupt: there is none that doeth good, not even one.

⁴CXu ne prudentigxos tiuj, kiuj faras malbonon, Kiuj mangxas mian popolon, kiel oni mangxas panon, Kaj kiuj ne vokas al Dio?

⁴Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, eating up my people [as] they eat bread? they call not upon God.

⁵Tie ili forte ektimis, kie timindajxo ne ekzistis; CXar Dio disjxetis la ostojn de tiuj, kiuj vin siegxas; Vi hontigis ilin, cxar Dio ilin forpusxis.

⁵There were they in great fear, where no fear was; for God scattereth the bones of him that encampeth against thee. Thou hast put [them] to shame, for God hath despised them.

⁶Ho, ke venu el Cion savo al Izrael! Kiam Dio revenigos Sian forkaptitan popolon, Tiam triumfos Jakob kaj gxojos Izrael.

⁶Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God turneth again the captivity of his people, Jacob shall be glad, Israel shall rejoice.
