1Kaj mi vidis alian fortan angxelon, malsuprenirantan el la cxielo, vestitan per nubo; kaj la cxielarko estis super lia kapo, kaj lia vizagxo estis kiel la suno, kaj liaj piedoj kiel kolonoj el fajro;
1And I saw another strong angel coming down out of the heaven, clothed with a cloud, and the rainbow upon his head, and his countenance as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire,
2kaj li havis en la mano libreton malfermitan; kaj li metis la dekstran piedon sur la maron, kaj la maldekstran sur la teron;
2and having in his hand a little opened book. And he set his right foot on the sea, and the left upon the earth,
3kaj li ekkriis per granda vocxo, kiel leono blekas; kaj kiam li kriis, la sep tondroj parolis per siaj vocxoj.
3and cried with a loud voice as a lion roars. And when he cried, the seven thunders uttered their own voices.

4And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write: and I heard a voice out of the heaven saying, Seal the things which the seven thunders have spoken, and write them not.
5Kaj la angxelo, kiun mi vidis staranta sur la maro kaj sur la tero, levis sian dekstran manon al la cxielo,
5And the angel whom I saw stand on the sea and on the earth lifted up his right hand to the heaven,
6kaj jxuris per la Vivanto por cxiam kaj eterne, kiu kreis la cxielon kaj tion, kio estas en gxi, kaj la teron kaj tion, kio estas en gxi, kaj la maron kaj tion, kio estas en gxi, ke tempo ne plu ekzistos;
6and swore by him that lives to the ages of ages, who created the heaven and the things that are in it, and the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be no longer delay;
7sed en la tagoj de la vocxo de la sepa angxelo, kiam li tuj trumpetos, tiam finigxos la mistero de Dio, kiel Li evangeliis al Siaj servistoj, la profetoj.
7but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound the trumpet, the mystery of God also shall be completed, as he has made known the glad tidings to his own bondmen the prophets.
8Kaj la vocxo, kiun mi auxdis el la cxielo, parolis al mi denove, dirante:Iru, prenu la libreton malfermitan en la mano de la angxelo, staranta sur la maro kaj sur la tero.
8And the voice which I heard out of the heaven [was] again speaking with me, and saying, Go, take the little book which is opened in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the earth.
9Kaj mi iris al la angxelo, kaj diris al li:Donu al mi la libreton. Kaj li diris al mi:Prenu gxin, kaj formangxu gxin; kaj gxi maldolcxigos al vi la ventron, sed en via busxo gxi estos dolcxa kiel mielo.
9And I went to the angel, saying to him to give me the little book. And he says to me, Take and eat it up: and it shall make thy belly bitter, but in thy mouth it shall be sweet as honey.
10Kaj mi prenis la libreton el la mano de la angxelo, kaj formangxis gxin; kaj en mia busxo gxi estis dolcxa kiel mielo, kaj kiam mi gxin mangxis, mia ventro maldolcxigxis.
10And I took the little book out of the hand of the angel, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth as honey, sweet; and when I had eaten it my belly was made bitter.
11Kaj ili diris al mi:Vi devas denove profeti cxe multaj popoloj kaj nacioj kaj lingvoj kaj regxoj.
11And it was said to me, Thou must prophesy again as to peoples and nations and tongues and many kings.
