¹Kaj mi rigardis, kaj jen la SXafido staranta sur la monto Cion, kaj kun li cent kvardek kvar miloj, havantaj lian nomon, kaj la nomon de lia Patro, skribitajn sur ilia frunto.

¹And I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing upon mount Zion, and with him a hundred [and] forty-four thousand, having his name and the name of his Father written upon their foreheads.

²Kaj mi auxdis vocxon el la cxielo, kiel vocxon de multaj akvoj, kaj kiel vocxon de granda tondro; kaj la vocxo, kiun mi auxdis, estis kiel de harpistoj, harpantaj per siaj harpoj;

²And I heard a voice out of the heaven as a voice of many waters, and as a voice of great thunder. And the voice which I heard [was] as of harp-singers harping with their harps;

³kaj ili kantas kvazaux novan kanton antaux la trono kaj antaux la kvar kreitajxoj kaj la presbiteroj; kaj neniu povis lerni la kanton krom la cent kvardek kvar miloj, la elacxetitoj el la tero.

³and they sing a new song before the throne, and before the four living creatures and the elders. And no one could learn that song save the hundred [and] forty-four thousand who were bought from the earth.

⁴Ili estas tiuj, kiuj ne malpurigxis kun virinoj; cxar ili estas virguloj. Ili estas la sekvantoj de la SXafido, kien ajn li iras. Ili estas elacxetitaj el inter la homoj, la unuaajxo al Dio kaj al la SXafido.

⁴These are they who have not been defiled with women, for they are virgins: these are they who follow the Lamb wheresoever it goes. These have been bought from men [as] first-fruits to God and to the Lamb:

⁵Kaj en ilia busxo ne trovigxis mensogo; ili estas senkulpaj.

⁵and in their mouths was no lie found; [for] they are blameless.

⁶Kaj mi vidis alian angxelon, flugantan en meza cxielo, havantan eternan evangelion, por evangelii la logxantojn de la tero kaj cxiun nacion kaj tribon kaj lingvon kaj popolon,

⁶And I saw another angel flying in mid-heaven, having [the] everlasting glad tidings to announce to those settled on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people,

⁷kaj dirantan per granda vocxo:Timu Dion, kaj donu al Li gloron, cxar venis la horo de Lia jugxo; kaj adorklinigxu al la Kreinto de la cxielo kaj la tero kaj la maro kaj la fontoj akvaj.

⁷saying with a loud voice, Fear God and give him glory, for the hour of his judgment has come; and do homage to him who has made the heaven and the earth and the sea and fountains of waters.

⁸Kaj alia angxelo, dua, sekvis, dirante:Falis, falis Babel la granda, kiu trinkigis cxiujn naciojn el la vino de la kolero de sxia malcxastajxo.

⁸And another, a second, angel followed, saying, Great Babylon has fallen, has fallen, which of the wine of the fury of her fornication has made all nations drink.

⁹Kaj alia angxelo, tria, sekvis ilin, dirante per granda vocxo:Se iu adorklinigxas al la besto kaj al gxia bildo, kaj ricevas markon sur sia frunto aux sur sia mano,

⁹And another, a third, angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any one do homage to the beast and its image, and receive a mark upon his forehead or upon his hand,

¹⁰tiu ankaux trinkos el la vino de la kolero de Dio, kiu estas pretigita nemiksite en la pokalo de Lia kolero, kaj li turmentigxos en fajro kaj sulfuro antaux la sanktaj angxeloj kaj antaux la SXafido;

¹⁰he also shall drink of the wine of the fury of God prepared unmixed in the cup of his wrath, and he shall be tormented in fire and brimstone before the holy angels and before the Lamb.

¹¹kaj la fumo de ilia turmento levigxas por cxiam kaj eterne; kaj ne havas pauxzon tage kaj nokte tiuj, kiuj adorklinigxas al la besto kaj al gxia bildo, kaj cxiu, kiu ricevas la markon de gxia nomo.

¹¹And the smoke of their torment goes up to ages of ages, and they have no respite day and night who do homage to the beast and to its image, and if any one receive the mark of its name.

¹²CXi tie estas la pacienco de la sanktuloj, kiuj observas la ordonojn de Dio kaj la fidon de Jesuo.

¹²Here is the endurance of the saints, who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

¹³Kaj mi auxdis vocxon el la cxielo, dirantan:Skribu:Felicxaj estas la mortintoj, kiuj de nun mortas en la Sinjoro; vere, diras la Spirito, por ke ili ripozu de siaj laboroj; cxar iliaj faroj sekvas kun ili.

¹³And I heard a voice out of the heaven saying, Write, Blessed the dead who die in [the] Lord from henceforth. Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; for their works follow with them.

¹⁴Kaj mi rigardis, kaj jen blanka nubo, kaj sur la nubo sidanto, simila al la Filo de homo, havanta sur sia kapo oran kronon, kaj en sia mano akran rikoltilon.

¹⁴And I saw, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud one sitting like [the] Son of man, having upon his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

¹⁵Kaj alia angxelo eliris el la templo, kriante per granda vocxo al la sidanta sur la nubo:Sendu vian rikoltilon, kaj rikoltu; cxar venis la horo por rikolti, cxar la rikolto de la tero tromaturigxis.

¹⁵And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Send thy sickle and reap; for the hour of reaping is come, for the harvest of the earth is dried.

¹⁶Kaj la sidanta sur la nubo jxetis sian rikoltilon sur la teron; kaj la tero rikoltigxis.

¹⁶And he that sat on the cloud put his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.

¹⁷Kaj alia angxelo eliris el la encxiela templo, ankaux havante akran rikoltilon.

¹⁷And another angel came out of the temple which [is] in the heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

¹⁸Kaj alia angxelo eliris el la altaro, havante auxtoritaton super la fajro; kaj li kriis per granda vocxo al la portanto de la akra rikoltilo, dirante:Sendu vian akran rikoltilon, kaj detrancxu la vinberarojn de la vinberarbo de la tero; cxar tute maturigxis gxiaj vinberoj.

¹⁸And another angel came out of the altar, having power over fire, and called with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Send thy sharp sickle, and gather the bunches of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripened.

¹⁹Kaj la angxelo jxetis sian rikoltilon en la teron kaj detrancxis la vinberarbon de la tero kaj jxetis gxin en la grandan vinpremilon de la kolero de Dio.

¹⁹And the angel put his sickle to the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast [the bunches] into the great wine-press of the fury of God;

²⁰Kaj la vinpremilo estis tretita ekster la urbo, kaj eliris sango el la vinpremilo, gxis la bridoj de la cxevaloj, en la spaco de mil sescent stadioj.

²⁰and the wine-press was trodden without the city, and blood went out of the wine-press to the bits of the horses for a thousand six hundred stadia.
