¹Ekzistas do jam nenia kondamno kontraux tiuj, kiuj estas en Kristo Jesuo.

¹[There is] then now no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus.

²CXar la legxo de la Spirito de vivo en Kristo Jesuo liberigis min de la legxo de peko kaj morto.

²For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free from the law of sin and of death.

³CXar kiam la legxo trovigxis nekapabla pro tio, ke gxi estis malforta pro la karno, Dio, sendante Sian propran Filon en simileco de peka karno kaj pro peko, kondamnis la pekadon en la karno;

³For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God, having sent his own Son, in likeness of flesh of sin, and for sin, has condemned sin in the flesh,

⁴por ke la postulo de la legxo plenumigxu en ni, kiuj iradas ne laux la karno, sed laux la spirito.

⁴in order that the righteous requirement of the law should be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to flesh but according to Spirit.

⁵CXar kiuj estas laux la karno, tiuj sin interesas pri la aferoj de la karno; sed kiuj estas laux la spirito, pri la aferoj de la spirito.

⁵For they that are according to flesh mind the things of the flesh; and they that are according to Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

⁶CXar la intereso de la karno estas morto, sed la intereso de la spirito estas vivo kaj paco;

⁶For the mind of the flesh [is] death; but the mind of the Spirit life and peace.

⁷cxar la intereso de la karno estas malamikeco kontraux Dio, cxar gxi ne obeas al la legxo de Dio, kaj gxi ja ne povas obei;

⁷Because the mind of the flesh is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God; for neither indeed can it be:

⁸kaj tiuj, kiuj estas en la karno, ne povas placxi al Dio.

⁸and they that are in flesh cannot please God.

⁹Sed vi estas ne en la karno, sed en la spirito, se vere la Spirito de Dio logxas en vi. Sed se iu ne havas la Spiriton de Kristo, tiu ne estas lia.

⁹But *ye* are not in flesh but in Spirit, if indeed God's Spirit dwell in you; but if any one has not [the] Spirit of Christ *he* is not of him:

¹⁰Kaj se Kristo estas en vi, la korpo malvivas pro peko, sed la spirito estas vivo pro justeco.

¹⁰but if Christ be in you, the body is dead on account of sin, but the Spirit life on account of righteousness.

¹¹Kaj se la Spirito de Tiu, kiu levis Jesuon el la mortintoj, logxas en vi, tiam la Levinto de Kristo Jesuo el la mortintoj vivigos ecx viajn mortajn korpojn per Sia Spirito, logxanta en vi.

¹¹But if the Spirit of him that has raised up Jesus from among [the] dead dwell in you, he that has raised up Christ from among [the] dead shall quicken your mortal bodies also on account of his Spirit which dwells in you.

¹²Tial do, fratoj, ni estas sxuldantoj, ne al la karno, por vivi laux la karno;

¹²So then, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to flesh;

¹³cxar se vi vivas laux la karno, vi mortos; sed se per la spirito vi malvivigas la farojn de la korpo, vi vivos.

¹³for if ye live according to flesh, ye are about to die; but if, by the Spirit, ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live:

¹⁴CXar cxiuj, kiuj estas kondukataj de la Spirito de Dio, estas filoj de Dio.

¹⁴for as many as are led by [the] Spirit of God, *these* are sons of God.

¹⁵CXar vi ne ricevis la spiriton de sklaveco denove al timo; sed vi ricevis la spiriton de adopto, per kiu ni krias:Aba, Patro.

¹⁵For ye have not received a spirit of bondage again for fear, but ye have received a spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

¹⁶La Spirito mem kunatestas kun nia spirito, ke ni estas idoj de Dio;

¹⁶The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are children of God.

¹⁷kaj se idoj, tial heredantoj, heredantoj de Dio, kunheredantoj kun Kristo, se vere ni suferas kun li, por ke ni estu glorataj kun li.

¹⁷And if children, heirs also: heirs of God, and Christ's joint heirs; if indeed we suffer with [him], that we may also be glorified with [him].

¹⁸CXar mi kalkulas, ke la suferoj de la nuna tempo ne indas komparon kun la gloro, kiu estas malkasxota al ni.

¹⁸For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy [to be compared] with the coming glory to be revealed to us.

¹⁹CXar la fervora sopiro de la kreitaro atendas la malkasxon de la filoj de Dio.

¹⁹For the anxious looking out of the creature expects the revelation of the sons of God:

²⁰CXar la kreitaro subigxis sub la vanecon, ne volonte, sed, pro la subiganto, kun espero,

²⁰for the creature has been made subject to vanity, not of its will, but by reason of him who has subjected [the same], in hope

²¹ke la kreitaro mem ankaux liberigxos el la sklaveco de pereo en la liberecon de la gloro de la idoj de Dio.

²¹that the creature itself also shall be set free from the bondage of corruption into the liberty of the glory of the children of God.

²²CXar ni scias, ke la tuta kreitaro kune gxemas kaj naskodoloras gxis nun.

²²For we know that the whole creation groans together and travails in pain together until now.

²³Kaj krom tio, ni mem, kiuj havas la unuaajxon de la Spirito, gxemas en ni, atendante nian adopton, nome la elacxeton de nia korpo.

²³And not only [that], but even *we* ourselves, who have the first-fruits of the Spirit, we also ourselves groan in ourselves, awaiting adoption, [that is] the redemption of our body.

²⁴CXar per espero ni estas savitaj; sed la espero, kiu estas vidata, ne estas espero; cxar kiu esperas al tio, kion li vidas?

²⁴For we have been saved in hope; but hope seen is not hope; for what any one sees, why does he also hope?

²⁵Sed, se ni esperas al tio, kion ni ne vidas, tiam ni gxin atendas pacience.

²⁵But if what we see not we hope, we expect in patience.

²⁶Kaj tiel same la Spirito ankaux helpas nian malfortecon; cxar ni ne scias, kiel pregxi dece, sed la Spirito mem propetadas por ni per gxemoj neeldireblaj;

²⁶And in like manner the Spirit joins also its help to our weakness; for we do not know what we should pray for as is fitting, but the Spirit itself makes intercession with groanings which cannot be uttered.

²⁷kaj Tiu, kiu esploras la korojn, scias, kio estas la penso de la Spirito, cxar li propetadas por la sanktuloj laux la volo de Dio.

²⁷But he who searches the hearts knows what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because he intercedes for saints according to God.

²⁸Kaj ni scias, ke por tiuj, kiuj amas Dion, por tiuj, kiuj estas vokitaj laux Lia intenco, cxio kunlaboras al bono.

²⁸But we *do* know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to purpose.

²⁹CXar kiujn Li antauxkonis, tiujn Li antauxdifinis kiel konformajn al la bildo de Lia Filo, por ke cxi tiu estu la unuenaskita inter multaj fratoj;

²⁹Because whom he has foreknown, he has also predestinated [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, so that he should be [the] firstborn among many brethren.

³⁰kaj kiujn Li antauxdifinis, tiujn Li ankaux vokis; kaj kiujn Li vokis, tiujn Li ankaux justigis; kaj kiujn Li justigis, tiujn Li ankaux gloris.

³⁰But whom he has predestinated, these also he has called; and whom he has called, these also he has justified; but whom he has justified, these also he has glorified.

³¹Kion do ni diru pri cxi tio? Se Dio estas por ni, kiu estas kontraux ni?

³¹What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who against us?

³²CXu Tiu, kiu ne indulgis Sian propran Filon, sed fordonis lin por ni cxiuj, ne donos al ni libere cxion kun li?

³²He who, yea, has not spared his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also with him grant us all things?

³³Kiu akuzos la elektitojn de Dio? Dio estas la justiganto;

³³Who shall bring an accusation against God's elect? [It is] God who justifies:

³⁴kiu estas la kondamnanto? Kristo estas tiu, kiu mortis, sed levigxis el la mortintoj, kiu estas dekstre de Dio, kaj ankaux propetadas por ni.

³⁴who is he that condemns? [It is] Christ who has died, but rather has been [also] raised up; who is also at the right hand of God; who also intercedes for us.

³⁵Kiu apartigos nin de la amo de Kristo? cxu aflikto, aux turmento, aux persekutado, aux malsato, aux nudeco, aux dangxero, aux glavo?

³⁵Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? tribulation or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?

³⁶Kiel estas skribite: Pro Vi ni estas mortigataj cxiutage; Oni rigardas nin kiel sxafojn por bucxo.

³⁶According as it is written, For thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we have been reckoned as sheep for slaughter.

³⁷Sed en cxio tio ni supervenkas per tiu, kiu nin amis.

³⁷But in all these things we more than conquer through him that has loved us.

³⁸CXar mi konvinkigxis, ke nek morto, nek vivo, nek angxeloj, nek auxtoritatoj, nek estantajxoj, nek estontajxoj, nek potencoj,

³⁸For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,

³⁹nek alteco, nek profundeco, nek iu alia kreitajxo povos apartigi nin de la amo de Dio, kiu estas en Kristo Jesuo, nia Sinjoro.

³⁹nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which [is] in Christ Jesus our Lord.
