¹Kaj revenis la angxelo, kiu antauxe parolis kun mi; kaj li vekis min, kiel oni vekas iun el lia dormo.

¹And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep.

²Kaj li diris al mi:Kion vi vidas? Mi respondis:Mi vidas kandelabron tute el oro, kaj kaliketon gxi havas sur sia supro, kaj sep lucernoj estas sur gxi, kaj po sep tubetoj trovigxas sur la lucernoj supre de gxi.

²And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I see, and behold, a lamp-stand all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and its seven lamps thereon, seven [lamps] and seven pipes to the lamps, which are upon the top thereof;

³Kaj du olivarboj trovigxas super gxi:unu dekstre de la kaliketo kaj la dua maldekstre de gxi.

³and two olive-trees beside it, one on the right of the bowl, and the other on the left of it.

⁴Kaj mi ekparolis kaj diris al la angxelo, kiu parolis kun mi:Kio tio estas, ho mia sinjoro?

⁴And I answered and spoke to the angel that talked with me, saying, What are these, my lord?

⁵La angxelo, kiu parolis kun mi, respondis kaj diris:CXu vi ne scias, kio tio estas? Mi diris:Ne, mia sinjoro.

⁵And the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these are? And I said, No, my lord.

⁶Tiam li responde diris al mi jene:Tio estas la vorto de la Eternulo al Zerubabel, kaj signifas:Ne per militistaro kaj ne per forto, sed nur per Mia spirito, diras la Eternulo Cebaot.

⁶And he answered and spoke unto me, saying, This is the word of Jehovah unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith Jehovah of hosts.

⁷Kiu vi estas, ho granda monto? antaux Zerubabel vi farigxos ebenajxo; kaj li metos la unuan sxtonon sub komuna vokado:Felicxo, felicxo al gxi!

⁷Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel [thou dost become] a plain; and he shall bring forth the head-stone with shoutings: Grace, grace unto it!

⁸Kaj aperis al mi vorto de la Eternulo, dirante:

⁸And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

⁹La manoj de Zerubabel fondis cxi tiun domon, kaj liaj manoj ankaux finos gxin; kaj vi ekscios, ke la Eternulo Cebaot sendis min al vi.

⁹The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; and his hands shall finish it: and thou shalt know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto you.

¹⁰CXar kiu povas malsxati cxi tiun tagon kiel malgrandan, kiam gxoje rigardas la vertikalsxnuron en la mano de Zerubabel tiuj sep okuloj de la Eternulo, kiuj trapenetras per sia rigardo la tutan teron?

¹⁰For who hath despised the day of small things? Yea, they shall rejoice [even] those seven -- and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel: these are the eyes of Jehovah, which run to and fro in the whole earth.

¹¹Tiam mi denove parolis kaj diris al li:Kion signifas tiuj du olivarboj dekstre kaj maldekstre de la kandelabro?

¹¹And I answered and said unto him, What are these two olive-trees on the right of the lamp-stand and on its left?

¹²Kaj mi parolis ankoraux kaj diris al li:Kion signifas la du brancxoj de olivarboj, kiuj trovigxas apud la du oraj tubetoj, tra kiuj fluas oro?

¹²And I answered the second time and said unto him, What are the two olive-branches which are beside the two golden tubes that empty the gold out of themselves?

¹³Li respondis al mi kaj diris:CXu vi ne scias, kio tio estas? Mi diris:Ne, mia sinjoro.

¹³And he spoke to me, saying, Knowest thou not what these are? And I said, No, my lord.

¹⁴Tiam li diris:Tio estas du oleitoj, kiuj staras apud la Reganto de la tuta tero.

¹⁴And he said, These are the two sons of oil, that stand before the Lord of the whole earth.
