¹Mi levis denove miajn okulojn, kaj mi ekvidis:jen kvar cxaroj eliras el inter du montoj; kaj la montoj estas kupraj.

¹And I lifted up mine eyes again, and saw, and behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass.

²La unua cxaro havis cxevalojn rugxajn, la dua cxaro havis cxevalojn nigrajn,

²In the first chariot were red horses; and in the second chariot black horses;

³la tria cxaro havis cxevalojn blankajn, kaj la kvara cxaro havis cxevalojn makulitajn kaj brunajn.

³and in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled, strong horses.

⁴Mi ekparolis kaj diris al la angxelo, kiu parolis kun mi:Kio tio estas, mia sinjoro?

⁴And I spoke and said unto the angel that talked with me, What are these, my lord?

⁵La angxelo respondis kaj diris al mi:Tio estas la kvar spiritoj de la cxielo, kiuj eliras post sia starado antaux la Reganto de la tuta tero.

⁵And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

⁶La cxaro kun la nigraj cxevaloj iris al la lando norda, la blankaj iris post ili, kaj la makulitaj iris al la lando suda.

⁶That in which are the black horses goeth forth into the north country; and the white go forth after them; and the grisled go forth towards the south country;

⁷La brunaj eliris, kaj deziris trairi la teron; kaj li diris:Iru, trairu la teron; kaj ili trairis la teron.

⁷and the strong go forth, and seek to go that they may walk to and fro through the earth. And he said, Go, walk to and fro through the earth. And they walked to and fro through the earth.

⁸Kaj li kriis al mi, kaj diris al mi jene:Vidu, tiuj, kiuj eliris al la lando norda, kontentigis Mian spiriton en la lando norda.

⁸And he cried unto me, and spoke unto me, saying, See, these that go forth towards the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country.

⁹Kaj aperis al mi vorto de la Eternulo, dirante:

⁹And the word of Jehovah came unto me, saying,

¹⁰Prenu de la forkondukitoj, de HXeldaj, de Tobija, kaj de Jedaja, kaj iru en la domon de Josxija, filo de Cefanja, iru en la sama tago, kiam ili venos el Babel;

¹⁰Take [gifts] of them of the captivity, of Heldai, of Tobijah, and of Jedaiah, and come thou the same day, and enter into the house of Josiah the son of Zephaniah, whither they are come from Babylon;

¹¹prenu argxenton kaj oron, kaj faru kronojn kaj metu sur la kapon de la cxefpastro Josuo, filo de Jehocadak,

¹¹yea, take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set [them] upon the head of Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest;

¹²and speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh Jehovah of hosts, saying, Behold a man whose name is [the] Branch; and he shall grow up from his own place, and he shall build the temple of Jehovah:

¹³Li konstruos la templon de la Eternulo, li ricevos gloron kaj sidos kaj regos sur sia trono; li estos ankaux pastro sur sia trono, kaj konsiligxo paca estos inter ambaux.

¹³even he shall build the temple of Jehovah; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

¹⁴Kaj tiuj kronoj estos cxe HXelem, Tobija, Jedaja, kaj HXen, filo de Cefanja, kiel memorajxo en la templo de la Eternulo.

¹⁴And the crowns shall be for Helem, and for Tobijah, and for Jedaiah, and for Hen the son of Zephaniah, for a memorial in the temple of Jehovah.

¹⁵Kaj malproksime logxantoj venos kaj konstruos en la templo de la Eternulo, kaj vi ekscios, ke la Eternulo Cebaot sendis min al vi; kaj tio okazos, se vi obeados la vocxon de la Eternulo, via Dio.

¹⁵And they that are far off shall come and build at the temple of Jehovah: and ye shall know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto you. And [this] shall come to pass, if ye will diligently hearken to the voice of Jehovah your God.
