¹Aperis super mi la mano de la Eternulo, kaj elirigis min en la inspiro de la Eternulo, kaj starigis min meze de ebenajxo, kiu estis plena de ostoj.

¹The hand of Yahweh was on me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of Yahweh, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.

²Kaj Li kondukis min cxirkauxe cxirkaux ili; estis tre multe da ili sur la ebenajxo, kaj ili estis tre sekaj.

²He caused me to pass by them all around: and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and behold, they were very dry.

³Kaj Li diris al mi:Ho filo de homo! cxu revivigxos cxi tiuj ostoj? Mi respondis:Ho Sinjoro, ho Eternulo, nur Vi tion scias.

³He said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? I answered, Lord Yahweh, you know.

⁴Kaj Li diris al mi:Profetu pri cxi tiuj ostoj, kaj diru al ili:Ho sekaj ostoj, auxskultu la vorton de la Eternulo!

⁴Again he said to me, Prophesy over these bones, and tell them, you dry bones, hear the word of Yahweh.

⁵Tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo, al cxi tiuj ostoj:Jen Mi venigos en vin spiriton, kaj vi revivigxos;

⁵Thus says the Lord Yahweh to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.

⁶kaj Mi donos al vi tendenojn, Mi kreskigos cxirkaux vi karnon, Mi kovros vin per hauxto, Mi enmetos en vin spiriton, kaj vi revivigxos; kaj vi ekscios, ke Mi estas la Eternulo.

⁶I will lay sinews on you, and will bring up flesh on you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live; and you shall know that I am Yahweh.

⁷Kaj mi profetis, kiel estis ordonite al mi; kaj kiam mi eldiris mian profetajxon, farigxis bruo kaj tumulto, kaj la ostoj komencis alproksimigxadi, cxiu osto al sia osto.

⁷So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, an earthquake; and the bones came together, bone to its bone.

⁸Kaj mi vidis:jen sur ili estas tendenoj, kaj elkreskis karno, kaj hauxto kovris ilin supre; sed spirito en ili ne estis.

⁸I saw, and, behold, there were sinews on them, and flesh came up, and skin covered them above; but there was no breath in them.

⁹Kaj Li diris al mi:Profetu al la spirito, profetu, ho filo de homo, kaj diru al la spirito:Tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo:El la kvar ventoj venu, ho spirito, kaj ekblovu sur cxi tiujn mortigitojn, por ke ili revivigxu.

⁹Then he said to me, Prophesy to the wind, prophesy, son of man, and tell the wind, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Come from the four winds, breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.

¹⁰Kaj mi profetis, kiel Li ordonis al mi; kaj eniris en ilin spirito, kaj ili revivigxis kaj starigxis sur siaj piedoj, tre, tre granda armeo.

¹⁰So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up on their feet, an exceedingly great army.

¹¹Kaj Li diris al mi:Ho filo de homo! cxi tiuj ostoj estas la tuta domo de Izrael. Jen ili diras:Sekigxis niaj ostoj, kaj pereis nia espero, decidita estas nia sorto.

¹¹Then he said to me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are clean cut off.

¹²Tial profetu, kaj diru al ili:Tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo:Jen Mi malfermos viajn tombojn kaj elirigos vin el viaj tomboj, ho Mia popolo, kaj Mi venigos vin en la landon de Izrael.

¹²Therefore prophesy, and tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, my people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel.

¹³Kaj vi ekscios, ke Mi estas la Eternulo, kiam Mi malfermos viajn tombojn kaj elirigos vin el viaj tomboj, ho Mia popolo.

¹³You shall know that I am Yahweh, when I have opened your graves, and caused you to come up out of your graves, my people.

¹⁴Kaj Mi enmetos Mian spiriton en vin, kaj vi revivigxos, kaj Mi arangxos vin en via lando; kaj vi ekscios, ke Mi, la Eternulo, tion parolis kaj faris, diras la Eternulo.

¹⁴I will put my Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land: and you shall know that I, Yahweh, have spoken it and performed it, says Yahweh.

¹⁵Kaj aperis al mi vorto de la Eternulo, dirante:

¹⁵The word of Yahweh came again to me, saying,

¹⁶Vi, ho filo de homo, prenu al vi lignon, kaj skribu sur gxi:De Jehuda, kaj de la Izraelidoj, aligxintaj al li. Poste prenu ankoraux unu lignon, kaj skribu sur gxi:De Jozef, ligno de Efraim, kaj de la tuta domo de Izrael, kiu aligxis al li.

¹⁶You, son of man, take one stick, and write on it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write on it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:

¹⁷Kaj aligu ilin al vi unu al la alia kiel unu lignon, ke ili farigxu unu en via mano.

¹⁷and join them for you one to another into one stick, that they may become one in your hand.

¹⁸Kaj kiam la filoj de via popolo demandos vin:CXu vi ne klarigos al ni, kion tio signifas cxe vi?

¹⁸When the children of your people shall speak to you, saying, Will you not show us what you mean by these?

¹⁹tiam diru al ili:Tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo:Jen Mi prenos la lignon de Jozef, kiu estas en la manoj de Efraim kaj de la triboj de Izrael, kiuj aligxis al li; kaj Mi aligos gxin kun ili al la ligno de Jehuda, kaj Mi faros ilin unu ligno, kaj ili estos unu en Mia mano.

¹⁹tell them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his companions; and I will put them with it, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in my hand.

²⁰Kaj la lignoj, sur kiuj vi estos skribinta, estu en via mano antaux iliaj okuloj.

²⁰The sticks whereon you write shall be in your hand before their eyes.

²¹Kaj diru al ili:Tiele diras la Sinjoro, la Eternulo:Jen Mi prenos la Izraelidojn el inter la nacioj, kien ili iris, kaj Mi kolektos ilin de cxirkauxe kaj venigos ilin en ilian landon.

²¹Say to them, Thus says the Lord Yahweh: Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the nations, where they are gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

²²Kaj Mi faros ilin unu nacio en la lando, sur la montoj de Izrael, kaj unu regxo estos regxo por ili cxiuj; kaj ili ne plu estos du popoloj kaj ne plu estos dividitaj en du regnojn.

²²and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all; and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all;

²³neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

²⁴Kaj Mia servanto David estos regxo super ili, kaj unu pasxtisto estos por ili cxiuj; kaj ili sekvos Miajn decidojn, kaj Miajn legxojn ili observos kaj plenumos.

²⁴My servant David shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my ordinances, and observe my statutes, and do them.

²⁵Kaj ili logxos en la lando, kiun Mi donis al Mia servanto Jakob kaj en kiu logxis viaj patroj; kaj ili logxos en gxi, ili kaj iliaj infanoj, kaj la infanoj de iliaj infanoj, eterne; kaj Mia servanto David estos por ili princo eterne.

²⁵They shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob my servant, in which your fathers lived; and they shall dwell therein, they, and their children, and their children’s children, forever: and David my servant shall be their prince for ever.

²⁶Kaj Mi faros kun ili interligon de paco; gxi estos eterna interligo kun ili; Mi arangxos kaj multigos ilin, kaj Mi starigos Mian sanktejon inter ili por eterne.

²⁶Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in their midst forevermore.

²⁷Kaj Mi logxos inter ili; kaj Mi estos ilia Dio, kaj ili estos Mia popolo.

²⁷My tent also shall be with them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

²⁸Kaj la nacioj ekscios, ke Mi, la Eternulo, sanktigas Izraelon, cxar Mia sanktejo estos inter ili por eterne.

²⁸The nations shall know that I am Yahweh who sanctifies Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in their midst forevermore.
