1Tiele diras la Eternulo:Kie estas la eksedziga letero de via patrino, per kiu Mi sxin forpusxis? aux al kiu el Miaj kreditoroj Mi vendis vin? Jen pro viaj pekoj vi estas venditaj, kaj pro viaj krimoj estas forpusxita via patrino.
1Thus says Yahweh, “Where is the bill of your mother’s divorce, with which I have put her away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities were you sold, and for your transgressions was your mother put away.
2Kial neniu estis, kiam Mi venis? kial neniu respondis, kiam Mi vokis? CXu Mia mano farigxis tro mallonga, por liberigi? kaj cxu ne ekzistas en Mi forto, por savi? Jen per Mia severa vorto Mi sekigas maron, Mi faras el riveroj dezerton; iliaj fisxoj putras pro senakveco kaj mortas de soifo.
2Why, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it can’t redeem? or have I no power to deliver? Behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stink, because there is no water, and die for thirst.
3Mi vestas la cxielon per mallumo, kaj sakajxon Mi faras gxia kovrilo.
3I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.”
4La Sinjoro, la Eternulo, donis al mi langon instruitan, por ke mi povosciu vigligi per vorto senfortigiton; Li vekas, cxiumatene vekas mian orelon, por ke mi auxskultu kiel instruatoj.
4The Lord Yahweh has given me the tongue of those who are taught, that I may know how to sustain with words him who is weary: he wakens morning by morning, he wakens my ear to hear as those who are taught.
5La Sinjoro, la Eternulo, malfermis mian orelon, kaj mi ne kontrauxstaris, mi ne turnis min malantauxen.
5The Lord Yahweh has opened my ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away backward.
6Mian dorson mi elmetis al la batantoj kaj miajn vangojn al la harsxirantoj; mian vizagxon mi ne kovris kontraux insultoj kaj kracxado.
6I gave my back to the strikers, and my cheeks to those who plucked off the hair; I didn’t hide my face from shame and spitting.
7Sed la Sinjoro, la Eternulo, helpas al mi, tial mi ne estas hontigata; tial mi faris mian vizagxon kiel siliko, kaj mi scias, ke mi ne estos senhonorigata.
7For the Lord Yahweh will help me; therefore I have not been confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be disappointed.
8Proksima estas mia praviganto; kiu procesos kontraux mi? ni starigxu kune; kiu postulas jugxon kontraux mi, li alproksimigxu al mi.
8He is near who justifies me; who will bring charges against me? Let us stand up together: who is my adversary? Let him come near to me.
9Jen la Sinjoro, la Eternulo, helpas al mi; kiu do malpravigos min? jen ili cxiuj elfrotigxos kiel vesto, tineoj ilin tramangxos.
9Behold, the Lord Yahweh will help me; who is he who shall condemn me? Behold, all they shall wax old as a garment, the moth shall eat them up.
10Kiu inter vi timas la Eternulon, auxskultas la vocxon de Lia servanto? Kvankam li iras en mallumo kaj nenio brilas al li, tamen li fidu la nomon de la Eternulo kaj apogu sin sur sia Dio.
10Who is among you who fears Yahweh, who obeys the voice of his servant? He who walks in darkness, and has no light, let him trust in the name of Yahweh, and rely on his God.
11Jen vi cxiuj, kiuj ekbruligas fajron, cxirkauxas sin per flamoj, iru en la lumon de via fajro, kaj en la flamojn, kiujn vi ekbruligis. Per Mia mano tio farigxos al vi; en doloro vi kusxos.
11Behold, all you who kindle a fire, who adorn yourselves with torches around yourselves; walk in the flame of your fire, and among the brands that you have kindled. You shall have this of my hand; you shall lie down in sorrow.
