¹Kaj la Eternulo ekparolis al Moseo kaj al Aaron, dirante:

¹Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

²Jen estas la instrukcio de la legxo, kiun la Eternulo starigis, dirante:Diru al la Izraelidoj, ke ili venigu al vi bovinon rugxan, sanan, kiu ne havas difekton kaj sur kiun ne estis metita jugo.

²“This is the statute of the law which Yahweh has commanded: Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring you a red heifer without spot, in which is no blemish, and which was never yoked.

³Kaj donu gxin al Eleazar, la pastro, kaj li elkonduku gxin ekster la tendaron, kaj oni bucxu gxin antaux li.

³You shall give her to Eleazar the priest, and he shall bring her forth outside of the camp, and one shall kill her before his face:

⁴and Eleazar the priest shall take of her blood with his finger, and sprinkle her blood toward the front of the Tent of Meeting seven times.

⁵One shall burn the heifer in his sight; her skin, and her flesh, and her blood, with her dung, shall he burn:

⁶and the priest shall take cedar wood, and hyssop, and scarlet, and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.

⁷Then the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the evening.

⁸He who burns her shall wash his clothes in water, and bathe his flesh in water, and shall be unclean until the evening.

⁹Kaj viro pura kolektu la cindron de la bovino kaj metu gxin ekster la tendaro sur puran lokon, kaj gxi estos konservata por la komunumo de la Izraelidoj por la akvo puriga:tio estas ofero propeka.

⁹“A man who is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up outside of the camp in a clean place; and it shall be kept for the congregation of the children of Israel for a water for impurity: it is a sin offering.

¹⁰Kaj la kolektinto de la cindro de la bovino lavu siajn vestojn, kaj li restos malpura gxis la vespero. Tio estos legxo eterna por la Izraelidoj, kaj por la fremduloj, kiuj logxas inter ili.

¹⁰He who gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening: and it shall be to the children of Israel, and to the stranger who lives as a foreigner among them, for a statute forever.

¹¹Kiu ektusxis la kadavron de ia homo, tiu restos malpura dum sep tagoj;

¹¹“He who touches the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days:

¹²li senpekigos sin per gxi en la tria tago kaj en la sepa tago, kaj li farigxos pura; kaj se li ne senpekigos sin en la tria tago kaj en la sepa tago, li ne farigxos pura.

¹²the same shall purify himself with water on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he doesn’t purify himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.

¹³CXiu, kiu ektusxis la kadavron de homo, kiu mortis, kaj ne senpekigos sin, tiu malpurigas la logxejon de la Eternulo; kaj tiu homo ekstermigxos el inter Izrael; cxar li ne estas aspergita per puriga akvo, li estas malpura, lia malpureco estas ankoraux sur li.

¹³Whoever touches a dead person, the body of a man who has died, and doesn’t purify himself, defiles the tabernacle of Yahweh; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water for impurity was not sprinkled on him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet on him.

¹⁴Jen estas la legxo:se homo mortis en tendo, tiam cxiu, kiu venas en la tendon, kaj cxio, kio trovigxas en la tendo, estos malpura dum sep tagoj.

¹⁴“This is the law when a man dies in a tent: everyone who comes into the tent, and everyone who is in the tent, shall be unclean seven days.

¹⁵Kaj cxiu nefermita vazo, sur kiu ne estas kovrilo kun sxnureto, estas malpura.

¹⁵Every open vessel, which has no covering bound on it, is unclean.

¹⁶Kaj cxiu, kiu ektusxis sur kampo glavmortigiton aux mortinton aux oston de homo aux tombon, estos malpura dum sep tagoj.

¹⁶“Whoever in the open field touches one who is slain with a sword, or a dead body, or a bone of a man, or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.

¹⁷Oni prenu por la malpurulo iom el la cindro de la bruligita pekofero kaj versxu sur gxin akvon vivan en vazon;

¹⁷“For the unclean they shall take of the ashes of the burning of the sin offering; and running water shall be put thereto in a vessel:

¹⁸kaj viro pura prenu hisopon kaj trempu gxin en akvo, kaj aspergu la tendon kaj cxiujn vazojn, kaj la homojn, kiuj tie estis, kaj la tusxinton de la osto aux de la mortigito aux de la mortinto aux de la tombo.

¹⁸and a clean person shall take hyssop, and dip it in the water, and sprinkle it on the tent, and on all the vessels, and on the persons who were there, and on him who touched the bone, or the slain, or the dead, or the grave:

¹⁹Kaj la purulo aspergu la malpurulon en la tria tago kaj en la sepa tago kaj senpekigu lin en la sepa tago; kaj li lavu siajn vestojn kaj banu sin en akvo, kaj vespere li estos pura.

¹⁹and the clean person shall sprinkle on the unclean on the third day, and on the seventh day: and on the seventh day he shall purify him; and he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and shall be clean at evening.

²⁰Kaj se iu estos malpura kaj ne senpekigos sin, tiu ekstermigxos el inter la komunumo, cxar li malpurigis la sanktejon de la Eternulo:li ne estas aspergita per puriga akvo, li estas malpura.

²⁰But the man who shall be unclean, and shall not purify himself, that soul shall be cut off from the midst of the assembly, because he has defiled the sanctuary of Yahweh: the water for impurity has not been sprinkled on him; he is unclean.

²¹Kaj tio estu por vi legxo eterna. Kaj tiu, kiu aspergis per la puriga akvo, lavu siajn vestojn; kaj la ektusxinto de la puriga akvo estos malpura gxis la vespero.

²¹It shall be a perpetual statute to them: and he who sprinkles the water for impurity shall wash his clothes, and he who touches the water for impurity shall be unclean until evening.

²²Kaj cxio, kion ektusxos la malpurulo, estos malpura; kaj la homo, kiu ektusxis, estos malpura gxis la vespero.

²²“Whatever the unclean person touches shall be unclean; and the soul that touches it shall be unclean until evening.”
