1The heads of the fathers’ households of the family of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near, and spoke before Moses, and before the princes, the heads of the fathers’ households of the children of Israel:
2kaj ili diris:Al nia sinjoro la Eternulo ordonis disdoni la teron kiel posedajxon per loto al la Izraelidoj, kaj al nia sinjoro la Eternulo ordonis doni la parton de nia frato Celofhxad al liaj filinoj.
2and they said, “Yahweh commanded my lord to give the land for inheritance by lot to the children of Israel: and my lord was commanded by Yahweh to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters.
3Sed se ili farigxos edzinoj de iu el la filoj de alia tribo de la Izraelidoj, tiam ilia posedajxo estos forprenita el la posedajxo de niaj patroj, kaj aligxos al la posedajxo de tiu tribo, al kiu ili ekapartenos, kaj el nia lote ricevita posedajxo gxi estos forprenita.
3If they are married to any of the sons of the other tribes of the children of Israel, then will their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of our fathers, and will be added to the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they shall belong: so will it be taken away from the lot of our inheritance.
4Kaj kiam ecx estos jubilea jaro cxe la Izraelidoj, ilia posedajxo restos aligita al la posedajxo de tiu tribo, al kiu ili apartenos; kaj el la posedajxo de la tribo de niaj patroj ilia posedajxo restos forprenita.
4When the jubilee of the children of Israel shall be, then will their inheritance be added to the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they shall belong: so will their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.”
5Tiam Moseo donis ordonon al la Izraelidoj laux la instrukcio de la Eternulo, dirante:Prave parolas la tribo de la Jozefidoj.
5Moses commanded the children of Israel according to the word of Yahweh, saying, “The tribe of the sons of Joseph speaks right.
6Jen kion ordonis la Eternulo koncerne la filinojn de Celofhxad:Ili povas farigxi edzinoj de tiuj, kiuj placxos al ili, sed nur en familio el la tribo de siaj patroj ili edzinigxu;
6This is the thing which Yahweh does command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them be married to whom they think best; only into the family of the tribe of their father shall they be married.
7por ke ne transiru hereda posedajxo de la Izraelidoj el unu tribo en alian tribon, cxar cxiu el la Izraelidoj devas resti fortike cxe la posedajxo de la tribo de liaj patroj.
7So shall no inheritance of the children of Israel remove from tribe to tribe; for the children of Israel shall all keep the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
8Kaj cxiu filino, kiu heredas posedajxon en la triboj de la Izraelidoj, devas edzinigxi kun iu el la familioj de la tribo de sxia patro, por ke la Izraelidoj heredu cxiu la posedajxon de siaj patroj;
8Every daughter who possesses an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel shall be wife to one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may possess every man the inheritance of his fathers.
9kaj por ke posedajxo ne transiru el unu tribo en alian tribon, sed cxiu tribo de la Izraelidoj restu fortike cxe sia posedajxo.
9So shall no inheritance remove from one tribe to another tribe; for the tribes of the children of Israel shall each keep his own inheritance.”
10Kiel la Eternulo ordonis al Moseo, tiel faris la filinoj de Celofhxad;
10The daughters of Zelophehad did as Yahweh commanded Moses:
11kaj Mahxla, Tirca kaj HXogla kaj Milka kaj Noa, la filinoj de Celofhxad, edzinigxis kun filoj de siaj onkloj.
11for Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married to their father’s brothers’ sons.
12En la familioj de la filoj de Manase, filo de Jozef, ili edzinigxis, kaj ilia posedajxo restis en la tribo de la familio de ilia patro.
12They were married into the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph; and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.
13Tio estas la ordonoj kaj la legxoj, kiujn la Eternulo donis per Moseo al la Izraelidoj en la stepoj de Moab, cxe la Jerihxa Jordan.
13These are the commandments and the ordinances which Yahweh commanded by Moses to the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
