¹Kaj mi vidis en la dekstra mano de la Sidanto sur la trono libron, skribitan interne kaj malantauxe, sigelitan per sep sigeloj.

¹I saw, in the right hand of him who sat on the throne, a book written inside and outside, sealed shut with seven seals.

²Kaj mi vidis fortan angxelon, proklamantan per granda vocxo:Kiu estas inda malfermi la libron kaj rompi gxiajn sigelojn?

²I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the book, and to break its seals?”

³Kaj neniu en la cxielo, nek sur la tero, nek sub la tero, povis malfermi la libron, aux rigardi gxin.

³No one in heaven above, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the book, or to look in it.

⁴Kaj mi multe ploris, cxar trovigxis neniu inda malfermi la libron, aux gxin rigardi;

⁴And I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look in it.

⁵kaj unu el la presbiteroj diris al mi:Ne ploru; jen la leono el la tribo de Jehuda, la Markoto de David, venkis, por malfermi la libron kaj gxiajn sep sigelojn.

⁵One of the elders said to me, “Don’t weep. Behold, the Lion who is of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome; he who opens the book and its seven seals.”

⁶Kaj mi vidis meze inter la trono kaj la kvar kreitajxoj, kaj meze de la presbiteroj, SXafidon starantan, kvazaux oferbucxitan, havantan sep kornojn kaj sep okulojn, kiuj estas la sep Spiritoj de Dio, senditaj sur la tutan teron.

⁶I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out into all the earth.

⁷Kaj li venis, kaj prenis gxin el la dekstra mano de la Sidanto sur la trono.

⁷Then he came, and he took it out of the right hand of him who sat on the throne.

⁸Kaj kiam li prenis la libron, la kvar kreitajxoj kaj la dudek kvar presbiteroj falis antaux la SXafido, havantaj cxiu harpon, kaj orajn pelvojn plenajn de incenso, kiuj estas la pregxoj de la sanktuloj.

⁸Now when he had taken the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one having a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

⁹Kaj ili kantis novan kanton, dirante:Vi estas inda preni la libron kaj malfermi gxiajn sigelojn; cxar vi estis mortigita, kaj vi elacxetis al Dio per via sango homojn el cxiu tribo kaj lingvo kaj popolo kaj nacio,

⁹They sang a new song, saying, “You are worthy to take the book, and to open its seals: for you were killed, and bought us for God with your blood, out of every tribe, language, people, and nation,

¹⁰kaj faris ilin al nia Dio regno kaj pastroj; kaj ili regxas sur la tero.

¹⁰and made us kings and priests to our God, and we will reign on earth.”

¹¹Kaj mi rigardis, kaj mi auxdis vocxon de multaj angxeloj, ronde cxirkaux la trono kaj la kreitajxoj kaj la presbiteroj; kaj ilia nombro estis miriadoj da miriadoj kaj miloj da miloj;

¹¹I saw, and I heard something like a voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousands of ten thousands, and thousands of thousands;

¹²dirantaj per granda vocxo:Inda estas la SXafido, la mortigita, ricevi la potencon kaj ricxon kaj sagxecon kaj forton kaj honoron kaj gloron kaj lauxdon.

¹²saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who has been killed to receive the power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and blessing!”

¹³Kaj cxiun kreitajxon, kiu estis en la cxielo kaj sur la tero kaj sub la tero kaj sur la maro, kaj cxion en ili, mi auxdis dirantajn:Al la Sidanto sur la trono, kaj al la SXafido, estu la lauxdo kaj la honoro kaj la gloro kaj la potenco por cxiam kaj eterne.

¹³I heard every created thing which is in heaven, on the earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion, forever and ever! Amen! TR omits “Amen!” ”

¹⁴Kaj la kvar kreitajxoj diris:Amen. Kaj la presbiteroj falis kaj adorklinigxis.

¹⁴The four living creatures said, “Amen!” The TR adds “twenty-four” elders fell down and worshiped. TR adds “the one living forever and ever”
