Darby's Translation

Psalms

114

1Kui Iisrael läks välja Egiptusest ja Jaakobi sugu umbkeelse rahva juurest,
1When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language,
2siis sai Juuda tema pühamuks ja Iisrael tema valitsusalaks.
2Judah was his sanctuary, Israel his dominion.
3Meri nägi ja põgenes, Jordan pöördus tagasi.
3The sea saw it and fled, the Jordan turned back;
4Mäed hüplesid otsekui jäärad, kingud nagu lambatalled.
4The mountains skipped like rams, the hills like lambs.
5Mis sul oli, meri, et sa põgenesid, Jordan, et sa pöördusid tagasi,
5What ailed thee, thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou turnedst back?
6mäed, et te hüplesite otsekui jäärad, ja teie, kingud, nagu lambatalled?
6Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams? ye hills, like lambs?
7Issanda palge ees värise, maa, Jaakobi Jumala palge ees,
7Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the +God of Jacob,
8kes muudab kalju veejärveks, ränikivi veeallikaks!
8Who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a fountain of waters.
