¹{To the chief Musician. Upon Muthlabben. A Psalm of David.} I will praise Jehovah with my whole heart; I will recount all thy marvellous works.

²Ma tänan Issandat kõigest südamest, ma kuulutan kõiki su imetöid.

²I will be glad and rejoice in thee; I will sing forth thy name, O Most High.

³Ma olen rõõmus ja ilutsen sinus, ma laulan kiitust sinu nimele, Kõigekõrgem!

³When mine enemies turned back, they stumbled and perished at thy presence:

⁴Sest mu vaenlased taganevad, nad komistavad ning hävivad su palge eest.

⁴For thou hast maintained my right and my cause. Thou sittest on the throne, judging righteously.

⁵Sa valmistasid ju minule õiglase kohtu ja ajasid mu asja; sa istusid kohtujärjele nagu õiguse kohtunik;

⁵Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked; thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.

⁶sa sõitlesid paganarahvaid, sa hukkasid õela, sa pühkisid ära nende nime alatiseks ja igaveseks.

⁶O enemy! destructions are ended for ever. -- Thou hast also destroyed cities, even the remembrance of them hath perished.

⁷Vaenlased on otsa saanud, rusustatud jäädavalt, ja linnadel, mis sa oled laiali rebinud, on nimedki hävinud koos nendega.

⁷But Jehovah sitteth for ever; he hath ordained his throne for judgment.

⁸Kuid Issand jääb igavesti; ta on oma aujärje seadnud kohtumõistmiseks.

⁸And it is he that will judge the world with righteousness; he shall execute judgment upon the peoples with equity.

⁹Ja ta ise mõistab kohut maailmale õigluses; ta peab rahvastele kohut õiglasel viisil.

⁹And Jehovah will be a refuge to the oppressed one, a refuge in times of distress.

¹⁰Nõnda on Issand kindlaks varjupaigaks rõhutuile, varjupaigaks häda ajal.

¹⁰And they that know thy name will confide in thee; for thou, Jehovah, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

¹¹Sellepärast loodavad sinu peale need, kes tunnevad su nime; sest sa ei ole hüljanud neid, kes otsivad sind, Issand!

¹¹Sing psalms to Jehovah who dwelleth in Zion; tell among the peoples his doings.

¹²Laulge kiitust Issandale, kes elab Siionis; kuulutage rahvaste seas tema tegusid!

¹²For when he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them; the cry of the afflicted ones hath he not forgotten.

¹³Sest veresüü kättemaksjana tuletab ta neid meelde; ta ei unusta hädaliste kisendamist.

¹³Be gracious unto me, O Jehovah; consider mine affliction from them that hate me, lifting me up from the gates of death:

¹⁴Ole mulle armuline, Issand! Vaata mu viletsust, mis tuleb mu vihameestelt, sina, kes mind ülendad surma väravaist,

¹⁴That I may declare all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion. I will be joyful in thy salvation.

¹⁵et ma jutustaksin kõike su kiiduväärilisust Siioni tütre väravais ja ilutseksin su abist!

¹⁵The nations are sunk down in the pit [that] they made; in the net that they hid is their own foot taken.

¹⁶Paganad on vajunud auku, mille nad on teinud; võrku, mille nad salajasse on seadnud, on takerdunud nende jalg.

¹⁶Jehovah is known [by] the judgment he hath executed: the wicked is ensnared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.

¹⁷Issand tunti ära, ta on kohut mõistnud; oma kätetöö püünisesse jääb kinni õel. Vahemäng. Sela.

¹⁷The wicked shall be turned into Sheol, all the nations that forget God.

¹⁸Surmavalda taandugu riivatud, kõik paganad, kes unustavad Jumala!

¹⁸For the needy one shall not be forgotten alway; the hope of the meek shall not perish for ever.

¹⁹Sest vaest ei unustata jäädavalt, viletsate lootus ei hukku igaveseks.

¹⁹Arise, Jehovah; let not man prevail: let the nations be judged in thy sight.

²⁰Tõuse, Issand, ärgu inimene suurustlegu; mõistetagu paganaile kohut sinu palge ees!

²⁰Put them in fear, Jehovah: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.

²¹Issand, aja neile hirm peale! Tundku paganad endid olevat ainult inimesed! Sela.
