¹Ta näitas mulle eluvee jõge, säravat nagu mägikristall. See saab alguse Jumala ja Talle troonist.

¹And he shewed me a river of water of life, bright as crystal, going out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

²Keset linna tänavat ja mõlemal pool jõge on elupuu, mis kannab vilja kaksteist korda, andes iga kuu oma vilja, ning puu lehed annavad tervist rahvastele.

²In the midst of its street, and of the river, on this side and on that side, [the] tree of life, producing twelve fruits, in each month yielding its fruit; and the leaves of the tree for healing of the nations.

³Ja midagi äraneetut ei ole enam. Jumala ja Talle troon on seal ning ta sulased teenivad teda

³And no curse shall be any more; and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him,

⁴ning näevad tema palet ning tema nimi on nende otsaesisel.

⁴and they shall see his face; and his name [is] on their foreheads.

⁵Ja ööd ei ole enam ning neile ei ole vaja lambivalgust ega päikesevalgust, sest Issand Jumal ise valgustab neid, ning nemad valitsevad kuningatena igavesest ajast igavesti.

⁵And night shall not be any more, and no need of a lamp, and light of [the] sun; for [the] Lord God shall shine upon them, and they shall reign to the ages of ages.

⁶Tema ütles mulle: 'Need on ustavad ja tõelised sõnad! Issand, prohvetivaimude Jumal, on läkitanud oma ingli oma sulastele näitama, mis varsti peab sündima.

⁶And he said to me, These words [are] faithful and true; and [the] Lord God of the spirits of the prophets has sent his angel to shew to his bondmen the things which must soon come to pass.

⁷Ja vaata, ma tulen peagi! Õnnis on see, kes hoiab alal selle raamatu ennustuse sõnu!'

⁷And behold, I come quickly. Blessed [is] he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.

⁸Mina, Johannes, olen see, kes seda kuulis ja nägi. Ja kui ma seda olin kuulnud ja näinud, siis ma heitsin maha ingli jalge ette, et kummardada teda, kes mulle seda näitas.

⁸And I, John, [was] he who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to do homage before the feet of the angel who shewed me these things.

⁹Ja tema ütles mulle: 'Vaata, ära tee seda! Sest ma olen sinu ning prohvetite, su vendade, ja nende kaassulane, kes selle raamatu sõnu alal hoiavad. Kummarda Jumalat!'

⁹And he says to me, See [thou do it] not. I am thy fellow-bondman, and [the fellow-bondman] of thy brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Do homage to God.

¹⁰Tema ütles mulle: 'Ära pane pitseriga kinni selle raamatu ennustuse sõnu, sest aeg on lähedal!

¹⁰And he says to me, Seal not the words of the prophecy of this book. The time is near.

¹¹Kes teeb ülekohut, tehku veel enam ülekohut, ning kes on rüve, saagu veelgi rüvedamaks! Õige tehku veel enam õigust ning püha pühitsegu ennast veel enam!

¹¹Let him that does unrighteously do unrighteously still; and let the filthy make himself filthy still; and let him that is righteous practise righteousness still; and he that is holy, let him be sanctified still.

¹²Vaata, ma tulen varsti ning toon igaühele palga, ma tasun igaühele tema tegude järgi.

¹²Behold, I come quickly, and my reward with me, to render to every one as his work shall be.

¹³Mina olen A ja O, esimene ja viimane, algus ja ots!

¹³*I* [am] the Alpha and the Omega, [the] first and [the] last, the beginning and the end.

¹⁴Õndsad on need, kes oma rüüd pesevad, et neil oleks meelevald süüa elupuust ning nad võiksid minna väravaist linna sisse!

¹⁴Blessed [are] they that wash their robes, that they may have right to the tree of life, and that they should go in by the gates into the city.

¹⁵Väljaspool on koerad ja nõiad ja hoorajad ja mõrtsukad ja ebajumalateenijad ning kõik, kes valet armastavad ja teevad.

¹⁵Without [are] the dogs, and the sorcerers, and the fornicators, and the murderers, and the idolaters, and every one that loves and makes a lie.

¹⁶Mina, Jeesus, saadan oma ingli seda teile tunnistama koguduste jaoks. Mina olen Taaveti juur ja sugu, särav koidutäht.'

¹⁶*I* Jesus have sent mine angel to testify these things to you in the assemblies. *I* am the root and offspring of David, the bright [and] morning star.

¹⁷Vaim ja mõrsja ütlevad: 'Tule!' Ja see, kes kuuleb, öelgu: 'Tule!' Ja januneja tulgu! Kes tahab, võtku eluvett ilma tasuta!

¹⁷And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that hears say, Come. And let him that is athirst come; he that will, let him take [the] water of life freely.

¹⁸Mina tunnistan kõikidele, kes kuulevad selle raamatu ennustuse sõnu: kui keegi neile midagi juurde paneb, siis paneb Jumal tema peale need nuhtlused, mis sellesse raamatusse on kirjutatud.

¹⁸*I* testify to every one who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, If any one shall add to these things, God shall add to him the plagues which are written in this book.

¹⁹Ja kui keegi võtab midagi ära selle prohvetiraamatu sõnadest, siis Jumal võtab ära tema osa elupuust ja pühast linnast, millest on kirjutatud selles raamatus.

¹⁹And if any one take from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.

²⁰Tema, kes seda tunnistab, ütleb: 'Jah, ma tulen varsti!' Aamen. Tule, Issand Jeesus!

²⁰He that testifies these things says, Yea, I come quickly. Amen; come, Lord Jesus.

²¹Issanda Jeesuse arm olgu kõikidega! Aamen.

²¹The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ [be] with all the saints.
