¹Ja ma nägin troonil istuja paremas käes rullraamatut, täis kirjutatud seest ja väljast, kinni pandud seitsme pitseriga.

¹And I saw on the right hand of him that sat upon the throne a book, written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals.

²Ma nägin võimsat inglit, kes suure häälega kuulutas: 'Kes on väärt avama seda raamatut ja lahti tegema selle pitsereid?'

²And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who [is] worthy to open the book, and to break its seals?

³Ning mitte ükski taevas ega maa peal ega maa all ei suutnud avada raamatut ega vaadata sinna sisse.

³And no one was able in the heaven, or upon the earth, or underneath the earth, to open the book, or to regard it.

⁴Ma nutsin kibedasti, et kedagi ei leitud väärt olevat avama seda raamatut ning vaatama sinna sisse.

⁴And *I* wept much because no one had been found worthy to open the book nor to regard it.

⁵Siis üks vanemaist ütles mulle: 'Ära nuta! Ennäe, lõvi Juuda suguharust, Taaveti juur, tema on võitnud, tema võib avada raamatu ja selle seitse pitserit!'

⁵And one of the elders says to me, Do not weep. Behold, the lion which [is] of the tribe of Juda, the root of David, has overcome [so as] to open the book, and its seven seals.

⁶Ja ma nägin trooni ja nelja olevuse ja vanemate keskel seismas Talle, kes oli otsekui tapetud ning kellel oli seitse sarve ja seitse silma - need on seitse Jumala vaimu, kes on läkitatud kogu ilmamaale.

⁶And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing, as slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God [which are] sent into all the earth:

⁷Ja ta tuli ning võttis raamatu troonil istuja paremast käest.

⁷and it came and took [it] out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

⁸Kui ta oli võtnud raamatu, siis need olevused ja need kakskümmend neli vanemat heitsid maha Talle ette, igaühel oli käes kannel ja kuldkausid täis suitsutusrohte - need on pühade palved.

⁸And when it took the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell before the Lamb, having each a harp and golden bowls full of incenses, which are the prayers of the saints.

⁹Ning nad laulsid uut laulu: 'Sina oled väärt võtma raamatu ning avama selle pitserid, sest sina olid tapetud ning sina oled ostnud Jumalale oma verega inimesi kõigist suguharudest ja keeltest ja rahvastest ja paganahõimudest

⁹And they sing a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open its seals; because thou hast been slain, and hast redeemed to God, by thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation,

¹⁰ning oled nad teinud kuningriigiks ja preestreiks meie Jumalale ning nad hakkavad valitsema kuningatena üle ilmamaa.'

¹⁰and made them to our God kings and priests; and they shall reign over the earth.

¹¹Ja ma nägin ja kuulsin paljude inglite häält trooni ja olevuste ja vanemate ümber, ning nende arv oli kümme tuhat korda kümme tuhat ja tuhat korda tuhat.

¹¹And I saw, and I heard [the] voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and their number was ten thousands of ten thousands and thousands of thousands;

¹²Nad hüüdsid valju häälega: 'Tall, kes on tapetud, on väärt võtma väge ja rikkust ja tarkust ja võimu ja au ja kirkust ja õnnistust!'

¹²saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that has been slain, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

¹³Ja kõike loodut taevas ja maa peal ja maa all ja meres ning kõike, mis on nendes, kuulsin ma hüüdvat: 'Sellele, kes istub troonil, ja Tallele - õnnistus ja au ja kirkus ja võimus olgu igavesest ajast igavesti!'

¹³And every creature which is in the heaven and upon the earth and under the earth, and [those that are] upon the sea, and all things in them, heard I saying, To him that sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb, blessing, and honour, and glory, and might, to the ages of ages.

¹⁴Ja need neli olevust ütlesid: 'Aamen.' Ning vanemad heitsid maha ja kummardasid.

¹⁴And the four living creatures said, Amen; and the elders fell down and did homage.
