¹Pärast seda ma nägin nelja inglit seisvat ilmamaa neljal nurgal kinni pidamas ilmamaa nelja tuult, et tuul ei puhuks ilmamaa peale ega mere peale ega ühegi puu peale.

¹And after this I saw four angels standing upon the four corners of the earth, holding fast the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow upon the earth, nor upon the sea, nor upon any tree.

²Ja ma nägin teist inglit tulevat üles päevatõusu poolt, temal oli elava Jumala pitsat ning ta hüüdis suure häälega neile neljale inglile, kellel oli lastud teha kahju ilmamaale ja merele:

²And I saw another angel ascending from [the] sunrising, having [the] seal of [the] living God; and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it had been given to hurt the earth and the sea,

³'Ärge tehke kahju ilmamaale ega merele ega puudele, enne kui me oleme pannud pitseri oma Jumala sulaste otsaesisele!'

³saying, Hurt not the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we shall have sealed the bondmen of our God upon their foreheads.

⁴Ma kuulsin pitseriga märgitute arvu: sada nelikümmend neli tuhat pitseriga märgitut kõigist Iisraeli laste suguharudest:

⁴And I heard the number of the sealed, a hundred [and] forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of [the] sons of Israel:

⁵Juuda suguharust kaksteist tuhat, Ruubeni suguharust kaksteist tuhat, Gaadi suguharust kaksteist tuhat,

⁵out of [the] tribe of Juda, twelve thousand sealed; out of [the] tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Gad, twelve thousand;

⁶Aaseri suguharust kaksteist tuhat, Naftali suguharust kaksteist tuhat, Manasse suguharust kaksteist tuhat,

⁶out of [the] tribe of Aser, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Nepthalim, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Manasseh, twelve thousand;

⁷Siimeoni suguharust kaksteist tuhat, Leevi suguharust kaksteist tuhat, Issaskari suguharust kaksteist tuhat,

⁷out of [the] tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Levi, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Issachar, twelve thousand;

⁸Sebuloni suguharust kaksteist tuhat, Joosepi suguharust kaksteist tuhat, Benjamini suguharust kaksteist tuhat pitseriga märgitut.

⁸out of [the] tribe of Zabulun, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand; out of [the] tribe of Benjamin, twelve thousand sealed.

⁹Pärast seda ma nägin, ennäe: suur rahvahulk, keda ükski ei suutnud loendada, kõigist paganahõimudest ja suguharudest ja rahvastest ja keeltest seisis trooni ees ning Talle ees, valged rüüd üll ja palmioksad käes.

⁹After these things I saw, and lo, a great crowd, which no one could number, out of every nation and tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palm branches in their hands.

¹⁰Nad hüüdsid suure häälega: 'Pääste on meie Jumalal, kes istub Troonil, ja Tallel!'

¹⁰And they cry with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb.

¹¹Kõik inglid seisid trooni ja vanemate ja nelja olevuse ümber ning heitsid trooni ette silmili maha ja kummardasid Jumalat,

¹¹And all the angels stood around the throne, and the elders, and the four living creatures, and fell before the throne upon their faces, and worshipped God,

¹²hüüdes: 'Aamen! Õnnistus ja kirkus ja tarkus ja tänu ja au ja vägi ja võim olgu meie Jumalale igavesest ajast igavesti! Aamen.'

¹²saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and strength, to our God, to the ages of ages. Amen.

¹³Ja üks vanematest kõneles ja ütles mulle: 'Need seal valgetes rüüdes - kes nad on ja kust nad tulid?'

¹³And one of the elders answered, saying to me, These who are clothed with white robes, who are they, and whence came they?

¹⁴Ma vastasin talle: 'Mu isand, sina tead.' Ning tema ütles mulle: 'Need on need, kes tulevad suurest viletsusest ning on pesnud oma rüüd ja teinud need valgeks Talle veres.

¹⁴And I said to him, My lord, *thou* knowest. And he said to me, These are they who come out of the great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and have made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

¹⁵Sellepärast nad on Jumala trooni ees ning on teenimas teda ööd ja päevad tema templis. See, kes istub troonil, laotab oma telgi nende üle.

¹⁵Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple, and he that sits upon the throne shall spread his tabernacle over them.

¹⁶Neile ei tule iial enam nälga ega iial enam janu, ka ei lange nende peale päikest ega mingit lõõska,

¹⁶They shall not hunger any more, neither shall they thirst any more, nor shall the sun at all fall on them, nor any burning heat;

¹⁷sest Tall, kes on trooni keskel, hoiab neid kui karjane ja juhatab nad eluvee allikaile; ning Jumal pühib ära iga pisara nende silmist.'

¹⁷because the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall shepherd them, and shall lead them to fountains of waters of life, and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.
